Abstract

The implementation of community service activities is aimed at students of the YPK Onggaya Elementary School in the Naukenjerai District of Merauke so that students can understand and know English as a foreign language as an effort to increase students' interest, motivation, willingness and interest in learning English in the field of education. Increasing competence in learning English is one of the useful activities in order to improve the quality and quality of a student. The introduction of English by Young Learners as a foreign language as an effort to increase the willingness and interest of students at the YPK Onggaya District Naukenjerai District also aims to provide knowledge for students about learning English and its benefits

Abstract

Referring to the situation of the limited understanding of the officials and the people of the village of Sermayam Indah, Tanah Miring District, this assistance aims to improve the understanding of officials and documents on the preparation of BUMKam establishment. Using savings methods, interviews, lectures and discussions, the stages of Identification and Preparation for Implementation, Socialization, Preparation for Establishment consisting of Discussion of Draft Draft by the Formulating Team, Drafting Approval Meeting by the Village Deliberation Board (BAMUSKAM), Submission of Outcome Documents for Establishing BUMKam. The implementation of the activity was initiated with a socialization program to improve the understanding of the village apparatus regarding the Village Enterprises, with the presentation of the procedures for establishing BUMKam and the Economic Potential and the Formulation of the Formulation Team, followed up by the assistance of the drafting team and the Village Consultative Body. This assistance resulted in the Design of AD and ART Periods, Organizational Structure, Business Logos, Business Names and Types of Businesses. So it was concluded that the Village Owned Enterprises (BUMKam) had not yet formed due to limited understanding and initial documents of the establishment could be overcome by the village through collaboration with universities and districts. Assistance can run optimally if the College Assistance Team communicates intensely with the District Officials and Village Officials

Abstract

Sermayam Indah Village located on Districk of Tanah Miring – Merauke is one area where the development of electricity needs continues to grow, especially in the household sector and so far the main supply has been supplied by PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Merauke but it was not followed by improvements of lighting installations that installed in the houses of the village. Outcomes in this activity is carried out in 2 (two) activity schemes in accordance with the situation analysis that has been carried out, namely: the training scheme and the socialization scheme. The training begins with a theoretical introduction followed by direct experiment. The socialization about saving of electrical energy, especially in the lighting installation of village houses and carried out attractively invited the public to be invited to raise issues related to the use of electricity. The impact of the activities, are: 1) Sermayam Indah Village community has been able to independently install a photo sell as an automatic device, especially for lighting the porch lights of the house or building; 2) The community has understood the technical installation of the correct installation both in terms of material and technical connection with proven from the beginning of the lightning installation which carelessly became an installation in accordance with safety standards

Abstract

The use of information technology in government has been widely distributed to regions. Information technology applied in financial sector can improve public financial services in a better quality. It depends on human ability that are expected to quickly adapt the changes in information technology development. This dedication program is held in Gurinda Jaya Village. This is one of the villages located in Jagebob District of Merauke Regency. This program began with survey to find out the current situation of the village. And continued with training program and for two days. Then monitoring and evaluating on the following week. The result is 50% participants were able to use Microsoft excel to do some calculation. And 50% rest participants still need more training and guidance

Abstract

Fish have high nutritional value and are well consumed by the community,especially children, one of the fish that has a high nutritional content, namely gastorfish (Channa striata), besides containing albumin needed by the body. Thiscommunity service aims to improve the skills of local communities in processingfishery products in the form of Gastor fish and meat into products that have a higherselling value and are more popular with the community, especially children. Thisservice activity lasted for 1 day carried out on Sunday, July 28, 2019, located in oneof the local residents in RT 11 RW 2, Rimba Jaya Village, Merauke Regency. Themethod used in this service activity is in the form of explanations, training in theform of direct practice in making processed fish meat in the form of cilok. Theresponse from the community service participants was quite enthusiastic, theyparticipated in activities from beginning to end and were actively involved in themanufacturing process, to the calculation of business analysis

Abstract

The small type of housing, namely type 36, is mostly built in housing in addition to meetingthe needs of 1000 houses for the Jokowi Program, as well as targeting the middle to lowereconomic community. This phenomenon is also starting to bloom in Merauke. But behindthat, the community needs a design strategy to manage these small types of houses.Therefore, this service activity is carried out with the aim of providing education to thepublic through a socialization about this strategy. Community service partners are residentsof the Citra Small Town Merauke housing estate. The method of socialization is bypresenting the material directly to the homeowners. After that, a question and answerdiscussion session is opened and ends with the delivery of impressions and messages fromthe Head of Housing of Citra Small Town and representatives of socialization participants.The result of this activity is the acquisition of knowledge for the occupants of the house,especially in terms of the development of small type houses in the future as well as obtainingoutputs from scientific journal publications, photo documentation, and video testimonials ofactivities

Abstract

The spread of the Covid 19 virus in 2019 and continuing in 2020 has made all members of thecommunity remain vigilant in maintaining public and individual health. Public understanding onhow to prevent the spread of the virus through health protocols have been implemented in aconscious manner. Apart from protect themselves through avoiding physical contact, people arealso obliged to know how to protect themselves through improving their own health status(immunity), one of which is through food. Processed foods that are consumed every day haveadvantages and disadvantages to meet their balanced nutritional needs. This community serviceis carried out with the aim of providing solutions in making processed food that can improvepeople immunity and thus prevent the spread of the Covid 19 virus. The method of implementingthis service activity through theory and practice is carried out on community members, especiallyPKK member in Sarmayam village, amounting to 30 people. The activity is carried out for oneday at the Sarayam village hall. The result of this activity is that the community understand whyand how the Covid 19 virus can be transmitted, then the community can make healthy food intakein the form of processed food to meet nutritional needs during the Covid 19 pandemic. Skills andknowledge have increased related to understanding healthy food processing. and nutritious.

Abstract

The propeller casting training was carried out in Waninggap Nanggo village by involving youngpeople who were given casting training in order to make a ketek motor propeller, so as to producereliable human resources (HR) in Waninggap Nanggo village who of course would provideprovisions for the use of increasingly developing technology. Purpose Casting training for homeindustries is a technology in which village youths are trained to be able to do casting whose rawmaterial comes from used aluminum which also has good mechanical properties because there isa mixture of the alloys found in the aluminum. In the ketek motor propeller casting training is atraining that uses a crucible furnace as a tool for melting aluminum, where the use of the fuelused certainly has an influence during the aluminum smelting process, so bus wood is analternative because bus wood is widely available in Merauke district bus wood has a goodcalorific value in the aluminum smelting process, which is around 3928 - 4106 kcal / kg. Thishousehold-scale casting industry training is also a new idea, because in Merauke district there isno aluminum casting industry, especially the manufacture of two blade (two-leaf) outboard motorpropellers with a size of 10 mm and managed to produce 5 propellers from the training results.implemented, therefore this training will continue to be developed so that the community inWaninggap Nanggo village because in this training the community has been able to make anoutboard / ketek motor propeller which is usually used alone or can be used as a livelihood forthe community who of course work together. with the village government of Waninggap Nanggoso that it can continue to be developed.

Abstract

Kaiburse village community has a Smart House facility that is used as a multipurpose buildingbecause all village activities are held centrally in the building, for example posyandu activities,student service learning activities and others. At this time in the location of the Smart House thequality of the HP signal network for telecommunications is very poor, so that people havedifficulty in accessing the telephone signal, because the distance is quite far from the location ofthe nearest BTS, with a distance of 7 kilometers in Kampung Kumbe. The installation of HandponeSignal Amplifiers (GSM) in the Kaiburse Kampung Smart House aims to support the activities ofthe village community, especially related to telecommunications needs. The Handpone (GSM)Signal Booster Antenna that we will use is the Yagi antenna. The results of this dedication activityare the quality of the HP signal received inside the smart home which is very good namely 5 Barrfor repeaters and 4 Barr for HP with excellent sound quality

Abstract

The Educators are required to always improve their abilities so that they are more competent in terms of mastery communication and information technology. One factor that greatly influences the quality of education is the use of instructional media. Good learning media will help the teachers in organizing a good learning process well and help to improve the student learning outcomes. In an effort to improve teacher professionalism, especially in terms of mastery of technology and information, training is held using computer-based learning applications. The process of activities carried out aims to develop the ability of teachers to utilize existing software in the learning process, improving the abilities of teachers to operate computer usage, and show quantity and quality in various learning process inside and outside the classroom. Service methods used are training in the form of talks, discussions and questions and answers. The training conducted at Satu Atap High School run well and smoothly so that further assistance and development of e-learning media.
