A periodical scientific journal which is a means of publicizing the results of Community Service Activities from various disciplines published and managed by Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P3M), Cilacap State Polytechnic. The Meaning of the Madani : Indonesian Journal of Civil Society is Progressive intended that this journal can accommodate the idea of a change that has taken place in an advanced, widespread and sustainable manner whereas Humanis is intended to accommodate the ideas of different ways of thinking that focus on general solutions to problems, problems or issues relating to humans and Brainstorming has intended this journal used as a means of scientific publication that is used to issue ideas from every team members who are done in a structured and systematic from the results of the Community Service that has been implemented.

<![CDATA[During the pandemic, there are still many people in Pasar Bengkulu Village who do not work, where housewives should be able to use their free time more productively. Based on observations made in Pasar Bengkulu Village, many housewives who have been in the business of selling souvenirs in tourist areas, just don't develop it. Most housewives who have tried small businesses eventually close their businesses. If housewives have clear and systematic financial management and sales bookkeeping skills, then the side business of selling souvenirs that have been carried out so far is expected to run more smoothly and develop. The Master of Applied Economics at the University of Bengkulu conducted Community Service (PKM) activities in Pasar Bengkulu Village, Sungai Serut District, Bengkulu in the period July-November 2021. This PKM succeeded in attracting the interest of 30 activity participants to start implementing financial planning patterns and making business reports so that financial households are getting better and better.]]>

<![CDATA[The covid-19 pandemic has caused schools to be temporarily closed to avoid crowds and avoid the spread of the coronavirus. That way, school activities continue to run even with online learning, Problems encountered in the community during the current covid-19 pandemic regarding online learning have resulted in a lack of enthusiasm for students to study independently at home without the assistance of a teacher, often the material being taught cannot be understood properly, and there is a decrease in learning achievement. Therefore, this community service activity provides and holds a Tutoring Program (BIMBEL) which aims to help students solve learning difficulties at school. That way, teaching and learning activities will be more efficient so that can be better and more optimal in developing their abilities. The activity was carried out using the face to face teaching method while still adhering to health protocols. The conclusions and results obtained from this program are that there is an increase in students learning enthusiasm and student learning outcomes both cognitively and skillfully.]]>

They are extensive reading and improving writing skills. Extensive reading is an approach to learning English by implementing much time to read books in a short time. The second way is improving writing skills. The role of improving writing skills is to boost academic and career achievements. <![CDATA[The basis for consideration from the service team is to go down to the community in an effort to deal with plastic waste, both plastic waste in households and the surrounding community. The target of the activity is the youth and youth of the mosque with the hope of building creativity and awareness in the youth and youth of the mosque in the neighbourhood of RT/RW 002/012, Sidomulyo Timur Sub-district, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru. In its implementation, it is carried out by providing counselling on the usefulness value of plastic waste, and training on the value creation of plastic waste as well as assistance/practice in making handicrafts from plastic waste. From the implementation of the service that has been carried out, the results show that there is an increase in knowledge, understanding and the desire of youth and community leaders for the treatment of waste.]]>

<![CDATA[The right to control from the state is a right that at the highest level is controlled by the state as an organization of power for all the people. This right gives the state authority as stated in Article 2 paragraph (2) of the UUPA. However, these various regulations and policies at the level of implementation do not harm the principles of the rights of the Indonesian people. The presence of the Job Creation Law which regulates land acquisition for development is considered pragmatic, more oriented towards investment and economic interests so it is considered to ignore the ideals and rights as well as the spirit of agrarian reform that favours the interests of farmers. The right of control of this state builds relations between the state and the nation, namely a kind of customary rights relationship that is raised at the highest level, namely the level that affects the entire territory of the country. The meaning of being controlled by the state contained in Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution is not explicitly formulated in its explanation. This allows the emergence of various interpretations of the meaning of this service trying to socialize land acquisition policies in the context of agrarian reform.]]>

<![CDATA[Community service aims to implement website-based information technology as a media for promoting Rahayu River Tubing tourism and its reservation. The attractions offered are Tubing, Pangasinan Waterfall, Pengkol Hill, and Pedestal View. Before this website, promotions were only carried out on social media, and reservations were still manual by contacting the manager directly. This community service method is by identifying problems, developing the Rahayu River Tubing website at the address http://rahayurivertubing.com, and evaluating activities. This activity was attended by 15 participants from the manager and tour guide held at the Rahayu River Tubing basecamp. At the end of the activity, feedback is given to evaluate this community service activity. There are five statements on the questionnaire with an average result of 99%. These results indicate that community service partners are delighted with the socialization and training on the use of the Rahayu River Tubing tourism website.]]>

<![CDATA[The community service program targets MSMEs, namely Charu Dhatri. Charu Dhatri is an MSME that produces bags and handicrafts made from jute fabric. These MSMEs have problems regarding marketing and sales during the Covid-19 pandemic. To assist partners in providing alternative sales, online training is held via Zoom. Charu Dhatri already has several social media, but their use has not been maximized due to limited information obtained by partners. In the implementation of this training, Charu Dhatri gained new knowledge about online marketing, optimizing social media by using available digital advertisements and using Etsy media for the promotion and sale of handcraft products abroad. The results obtained from this training there is an increase in knowledge about online marketing by 23.5%. It is hoped that after this training, Charu Dhatri can increase the use of social media so that it has a positive impact on sales. The training was closed by filling out a questionnaire, and the results showed that on average the partners were satisfied with the training provided.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this service program is to empower PKK women in the village of Teguhan in utilizing leaf waste for ecoprints which have a high selling value and can develop into businesses. Participants in this service were 15 people consisting of PKK women from Teguhan village. The service activity was carried out at the Teguhan village office for 3 days, namely on 18-19 February 2022. The service was carried out by taking care of permits, recording the number of PKK women, socializing eco print materials and mentoring and evaluating activities. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that this activity is very beneficial for the participants, namely the PKK women in Teguhan Village. The results of this community service resulted in an understanding of the material about eco print with a fairly good achievement with an average of 63%. The results of the demonstration activities and participants' skills in making eco prints showed very good results, with average achievements of 85% and 84%, respectively. The participants received and absorbed the training materials on making eco prints well. Furthermore, the participants were able to demonstrate directly how to make eco prints using certain techniques so that the results obtained were durable and of high quality.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia is the owner of an inscription certificate from UNESCO regarding the recognition of “The Representative List of The Intangible Culture Heritage of Humanity” for batik. This has an impact on increasing batik production due to increasing demand both from within the country and from abroad. However, there are problems in fulfilling the demand for batik. One of the problems is a decrease of skilled workers in batik especially for “batik tulis”. One that is experiencing a shortage of skilled workers is batik production in Cilacap Regency. Therefore, we empower the youth of the Widarapayung Wetan Village youth community by providing batik training. The purpose of this activity is to increase the interest of young people to pursue batik skills as well as to fulfil batik skilled workers. The results of a survey conducted at the end of the community service activity 80% of respondents agreed and 20% strongly agreed to explore batik skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Dusun Bondan is a district located in a tidal area. Various problems arise in Dusun Bondan because of the use of water that doesn’t meet the quality of sanitation water causing several diseases. The water crisis experienced by the residents of Dusun Bondan becomes the worst disaster especially in summer because the water at Dusun Bondan is salty with high total dissolved solids. A water desalination system has been made to produce sanitation water that meets the standard based on Minister of Health Regulation No. 32 of 2017. The methods used to overcome these problems are water source identification, design of desalination system, purchasing, fabrication and testing of desalinated water. The result of the activities is a desalination system which consists of pre-treatment using 4 filtration stages ended with reverse osmosis desalination using a special membrane. The result of desalinated water test shows that the water is odourless, tasteless, and other parameters meet the requirement of the standard.]]>
