Abstract

The headmaster is the most important element in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The headmaster is the most important element in the development of an Kurikulum Merdeka in each of the schools. The role of the headmaster is important, so the headmaster needs to continue to be given reinforcement for the implementation of an Kurikulum Merdeka. In order to realize the objectives of this activity, Penguatan Komite Pembelajaran (PKP) activity was carried out. This activity is carried out online with a facilitator. PKP activities involved headmasters, teachers and school supervisors, but in this class only three headmasters attended. This activity was carried out for eighteen days. The activity begins with a presentation of material by the facilitator and continues with the assignment by the participants. The results obtained are that there is an increased understanding of the role of the headmasters in the development of an Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Kegiatan Bimbingan Teknis (Bimtek) Inovasi Pelayanan Publik di Kantor Kelurahan Fontein-Kota Kupang, adalah bagian program inkubasi inovasi pelayanan publik Provinsi NTT dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik. Tujuannya adalah meningkatam kualitas pelayanan publik pada seluruh instansi penyelenggara pelayanan publik, termasuk Kantor Kelurahan. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan survey awal, dept interview, paparan materi, diskusi dan pendmpingan. Dalam pelaksanaan Bimtek dapat diketahui masalah mendasar dalam menciptakan inovasi pelayanan publik di Kantor Kelurahan Fontein Kota Kupang, yaitu masih rendahnya pengetahuan terkait menciptakan inovasi pelayanan publik dan ketrampilan berbasis teknologi informasi pada pegawai dan pimpinan Kantor Lurah. Sehingga kegiatan Bimtek perlu diteruskan dengan pendampingan untuk dapat terus diikuti progress atau perkembangan pengetahuan maupun ketrampilan para aparat Kantor Lurah. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan tersebut perlu dilakukan secara berkesinambungan, sehingga dapat menciptakan iklim inovasi pelayanan publik ditingkat Pemerintah Desa/Kelurahan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan terapan dari hasil penelitian inovasi pelayanan publik dengan judul “Garugiwa In Line” a Portrait of The Success of Local Wisdom Based Population Administration Service Innovation In Ende District, pada Tahun 2023.

Abstract

Penggunaan kayu bakar yang berlebihan berdampak buruk bagi lingkungan. Hasil sisa pembakaran berupa arang belum dimanfaatkan secara baik menjadi briket. Briket dapat menjadi pilihan bahan bakar produksi garam. Garam hasil produksi Kelompok Tani Masmolo adalah garam organik yang putih bersih namun belum mendapat sentuhan kemasan yang menarik. Hal ini diakibatkan oleh minimnya pemahaman terhadap pengelolaan paska produksi secara baik. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya pelatihan dan praktek langsung pembuatan briket serta pelatihan desain dan pembuatan kemasan. Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan PKM yakni untuk mengedukasi petani mengenai pemanfaatan arang sebagai bahan baku pembuatan briket serta melatih keterampilan petani mendesain dan membuat kemasan secara baik dan menarik. Ukuran keberhasilan kegiatan dilakukan melalui uji pemahaman melalui sebaran kuisioner bagi setiap anggota tani dengan cara pemberian score pada setiap pertanyaan dari tahapan kegiatan yang diberikan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan diketahui secara umum petani memahami semua tahapan kegiatan yang diberikan Tim PKM. Hasil penerapan menunjukkan bahwa keunggulan menggunakan briket yakni produksi garam lebih cepat dimana 500 keping briket yang digunakan mampu memproduksi garam sebanyak 4 kali.

Abstract

The community service carried out in Witurombaua Village with one of the most important activities is the mentoring of mathematics tutoring for elementary school students. The tutoring assistance activities were carried out at the Romba Catholic Elementary School with a total number of students participating in the tutoring activities as many as 7 students. The tutoring program in elementary schools is based on the Realistic Mathematics Learning approach, with the aim of increasing students' motivation and interest in learning mathematics. Realistic mathematics learning is an approach that places students' realities and experiences as the starting point of learning. The methods used in tutoring activities are lecture and discussion methods. The lecture method is a method that provides an explanation of material directly to students, while the discussion method is a method carried out by asking students about students' understanding of the material that has been explained. The existence of tutoring assistance activities can increase student learning interest in Cartesian coordinate material. This is seen from the ability of students' responses in learning activities. The tutoring assistance program has been well implemented and has provided positive benefits and impacts for elementary school students in Witurambaua village.

Abstract

Bullying is one of the problems in the school. Bullying does not just happen to adults and teenagers. Even children at the elementary school level can potentially become bullying perpetrators. Therefore, its service aims to educate on bullying and prevent bullying-related behavior. The service activity was carried out at SDN 40 Hulontalangi. As first step, the community service team made observations regarding the understanding of students at the school regarding their understanding of bullying. The students did not know about bullying, but they often experienced acts related to verbal, relational, and physical bullying. The results of the observations have collaborated with interviews with teachers and principals at the school. The activities carried out were in the form of outreach about bullying and education about bullying prevention. The activity was delivered in the form of lectures, delivery via video, and games in the form of role-playing between students at SDN 40 Hulontalangi. The result of this empowerment is students' understanding of bullying increases. This activity concludes that students understand that bullying is a disgraceful act and must be avoided. They also understand what actions should be taken if they experience bullying and take action if their friends become victims of bullying.

Abstract

The implementation of this PkM was carried out using socialization, lecture, training (workshops), and guidance methods. After giving the training, the students were presented with a questionnaire containing 7 questions to find out their perceptions of the benefits of the training for the development of their creative-productive abilities. Their answers were analyzed using descriptive qualitative, namely the number of answers divided by the number of students multiplied by 100%. The results of the data analysis showed that 50 (or: 26%) respondents were very capable, 88 (or; 47%) were able, 47 (or: 25%) were less able and 4 (or: 2%) were unable. This shows that all respondents have benefited from journalistic training which is useful for developing creative-productive critical thinking skills. In addition, there are two digital journalistic skills that they are good at, namely using a laptop/computer (17 answers or 63%) and publishing works via Instagram (15 answers or 56%). This happens because they have been familiar with various digital technology tools and used them well. These results have implications for the use of digital technology facilities in subsequent journalistic training and teaching and learning processes in the classroom.

Abstract

The education management information system (MIS) must support educational activities. Both are interrelated and need each other. Payment of Educational Development Assistance (BPP) at SMA Negeri 5 Kupang is currently still done manually. This makes it difficult for officers to manage data related to the BPP payment process. Officers must carry out several recording processes in each payment transaction. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the efficiency and accuracy of BPP payment management at SMA Negeri 5 Kupang. The implementation of this community service activity is divided into several stages, namely needs analysis (observation, interviews and data exploration on the internet), system design (design, coding and testing), implementation and training. This Community Service Activity produces a website-based payment information system that has three menus, namely the admin login menu, student login and payment. The system created can manage financial data and produce reports quickly and accurately and increase transparency and accountability in BPP management. The results of the system test using the blackbox method on buttons, menus, and various inputs to the system showed that all system processes run as they should or 100% run normally.

Abstract

TPA is a Quran Education Park that accommodates early childhood in carrying out complex religious learning, such as Islamic history, daily prayer, reading and writing the Qur'an, tajweed, mahfudzot, etc. The implementation of informal learning is motivated by moral distortions that spread among Generation-Z, this is marked by early marriage due to pregnancy outside marriage. Therefore, the implementation of this service is important because it supports the strengthening of moral renewal which is the foundation and affects the character of children. Like TPA Raudhatul Athfal Dusun Biru which provides learning the values of the Qur'an. With the number of students 37-40 children. However, in teaching and managing the landfill, Raudhatul Athfal experienced problems, including lack of consistency and commitment of landfill managers, lack of competence and human resource skills in managing, inactivity of landfill participants, and poor recording of financial statements. From these problems, the service team provides solutive actions with socialization, training and mentoring methods according to the problems faced, and provides target measures to determine the success of service.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a non-communicable disease with a high prevalence globally, especially in developing countries, including Indonesia. One of the complications that often occurs is diabetic foot ulcers. These complications can be prevented early by involving elements in the community starting from patients, families, peer groups, cadres, community leaders and health workers. Based on this, the team conducted community service in the working area of the Sukawati II Health Center which aims to improve the ability of patients, families, elderly groups and health cadres to perform foot care and self-monitoring of foot health as an effort to prevent diabetic foot ulcers. The method used is counseling and simulation of foot examination and foot care. The activity was attended by 51 participants consisting of 15 DM patients, 13 patient families, 11 health cadres and 12 elderly people. The evaluation was carried out after the demonstration from the team, the participants were asked to re-simulate how to do foot care. Monitoring is carried out regularly every month for 2 months. The results showed that most of the participants (80%) were able to carry out foot care and self-monitoring at home and did not develop diabetic ulcers during the monitoring period.

Abstract

This activity was carried out using a participatory action research method, namely jointly determining solutions based on the urgency and priority of the problem which was preceded by an initial situation analysis. Furthermore, activities in the field take the form of lectures/counseling, training/demonstrations to improve the group's abilities and skills. The focus of activities is on semen collection, artificial insemination, egg hatching, crumb and pellet making, vaccination, and the starter, grower and pullet maintenance phase and income analysis. Assistance and evaluation of activities is carried out in stages. The impact of this service is an increase in the group's skills in artificial insemination of hens, hatching eggs using a hatching machine, making their own feed in the form of crumbs and pellets, raising chicks in brooding, vaccination, maintaining the grower phase, and being able to analyze business income. At the end of the activity, the partner group can reproduce brood hens for further exposure and development. Group welfare also increases due to additional profits. With a rearing volume of 200 bird, the partner group makes a profit of Rp. 10,240,000 from DOC maintenance until 4-5 months of age.
