Abstract

A website is a digital marketing tool for any enterprise, especially in today's digital era where every company should have its own website. However, most batik shops in Kampung Wisata Batik Pesindon (KWBP) still do not have a website. The objective of this community service was to develop websites for 17 batik shops in KWBP and then provide training on how to fill and update these websites. The community service were carried out in five stages: problem identification, pre-training, training, mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. Problem identification is conducted through interviews regarding the desired website needs. Pre-training involves creating websites for the 17 batik shops and one large website for KWBP. The training stage was conducted through demonstration and hands-on practice. Mentoring was done using a WhatsApp group, and evaluation was performed using observation sheets of training results. Based on the results, it was found that this activity can improve partners' skills in website content filling by 59% and increase partners' accessibility to website technology by 100%. The challenge encountered during training was that partners have not prepared the necessary website assets such as the batik shop logo and uploaded product images. However, overall, the participants' enthusiasm was considered high.

Abstract

Renon Subdistrict frequently experiences long queues at polling stations (TPS) during elections. One contributing factor to this issue is that 50% of the community does not receive the C-notification letter. Ultimately, this problem leads to delays in the completion of elections in Renon Subdistrict. In response to these findings, the proposed solution from the service team is to establish a Community Assistance Service Post. The Community Assistance Service Post functions as a place where residents can check whether they are registered on the voter list (DPT) and are eligible to vote in Renon Subdistrict. The goal is to prevent long queues and reduce abstentions caused by residents who do not receive the C-notification letter. The method used in this community service activity is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach involving interviews with relevant stakeholders, literature studies, and field observations. The result of this service is the prevention of long queues during elections and a reduction in voter abstention. Recommendations include collaborating with internet service providers for network support and continuing to improve the Community Assistance Service Post in future elections.

Abstract

This activity emphasizes the ability to record business transactions and prepare financial reports. The location for implementing PkM is in Dermojayan Village, Srengat District, Blitar Regency, East Java Province, attended by BUMDes personnel throughout the district. The method of this activity includes observing problems faced by BUMDes, reflection, action planning, and program implementation. Program implementation is divided into several stages, namely discussions, workshops, training and mentoring, closing and evaluation of activities. Training and mentoring is carried out in the form of providing a set of cases regarding technical calculations of cost of goods manufactured, cost of goods sold, accounting records and preparation of financial reports. As a result, after undergoing PkM activities, participants felt they had gained enlightenment in the form of accounting knowledge and skills in administering all BUMDes business activities. This perception was obtained from the results of the PkM program evaluation carried out at the end of the activity using the google-form-survey evaluation technique which was filled in by 13 BUMDes personnel. Overall, the service activities have succeeded in overcoming the problems faced by BUMDes personnel and succeeded in achieving its goal, namely providing and improving knowledge and accounting skills for BUMDes personnel.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Pengolahan Nilai Siswa Berbasis Web merupakan sebuah sistem yang memberikan informasi berupa laporan nilai serta informasi siswa yang bersangkutan secara online pada website, sehingga membantu dalam pengolahan nilai siswa dan penyampaian informasi secara terkomputerisasi. Permasalahan pengolahan nilai siswa yang terjadi di SD Komodo Inerie saat ini adalah pengolahan nilai siswa yang masih dilakukan secara konvensional sehingga membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga yang lebih banyak untuk memproses tugas tersebut. Pengembangan sistem yang dikerjakan ini guna membantu dalam penyampaian informasi terkait penilaian siswa di SD Komodo Inerie. Selain itu dengan berbasiskan web maka informasi tersebut dapat diakses di mana saja dan kapan saja selama terhubung ke internet sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pekerjaan dan meminimalisir adanya kesalahan atau human error. Program yang dihasilkan dalam sistem ini adalah Sistem Informasi Pengolahan Nilai Siswa Berbasis Web dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrogramam PHP dan database Mysql serta Bootstrap untuk mempercantik tampilan.

Abstract

Perkembangan era digital menuntut guru untuk mampu mengintergrasikan teknologi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran seperti dengan penggunaan Google Sites. Literasi sains dan keterampilan proses sains juga dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran abad 21. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah Pelatihan Penggunaan Google Sites berbasis literasi sains dan keterampilan proses sains bagi guru-guru SDI ASSALAM JADIID. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah 10 orang guru yang merupakan mitra pengabdian. Kegiatan terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu 1) Pemaparan materi keterampilan proses sains, 2) Pemaparan materi tentang literasi sains, 3) Pemaparan materi dan praktek penggunaan Google Sites. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket atau kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan rata-rata respon peserta. Respon peserta menunjukkan hasil yang positif dimana para guru mendapatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap dan produk dalam pelatihan penggunaan Google Sites berbasis literasi sains dan keterampilan proses sains. Kendala dalam kegiatan ini terkait dengan keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan.

Abstract

Inventory recording applied by HJ Pharmacy is still simple, which only records the          number of items without including the price per unit. In addition, inventory valuation has not used any method so that to find out the value of the company's final inventory, the company only calculates it by means of the purchase price of the last inventory multiplied by the number of units of final inventory. The purpose of this community service is to find out how to record and assess the inventory of trade goods based on SAK EMKM. The recording method uses the perpetual method and the valuation uses the FIFO and Average methods. Based on the results of the author's analysis, recording inventory of trade goods at the HJ Pharmacy can use the perpetual method because by using this method the company can easily record and know the amount and value of inventory at any time, without doing a physical count in the warehouse first. Meanwhile, the valuation of trade goods inventory at the HJ Pharmacy can use the FIFO method, because the gross profit obtained by the company is greater than using Average.

Abstract

This literacy empowers communities to devise fitting strategies and actions in line with their specific conditions. Local knowledge-based disaster literacy plays a crucial role during disasters. Consequently, it can decrease disaster impact, raise community resilience, and facilitate recovery in the aftermath. This service aims to assess students' level of geoliteracy about disaster-related information and encourage them to craft disaster education posters informed by local wisdom. This program relies on mentoring and demonstrations, designed to employ clear and accessible language for the students. Implementing geoliteracy services for students at SMA Negeri 5 Sigi, specifically making disaster education posters based on local knowledge, is an effective method to enhance students' comprehension of disaster mitigation while preserving the surrounding culture.

Abstract

The purpose of assisting this vocabulary learning is to increase the Foreign Language Skills of Elementary School-Age Children at the Miracle Language Center. Method This research uses community education methods to provide assistance in English and Indonesian vocabulary. The location of vocabulary learning assistance was carried out at the Miracle Language Center, Narathiwat, Thailand which was carried out for 3 weeks, starting from August 15, 2023, to September 5, 2023. This activity was held at the Miracle Language Center, located in Narathiwat, Thailand held on Monday - Friday at 09.15-10.15.00 WIB. The results of this mentoring activity include several things, such as increasing motivation in learning foreign languages, and progress in vocabulary mastery through the vocabulary provided.

Abstract

Poorly controlled diabetes mellitus is a major cause of blindness, heart attack, amputation, stroke, kidney failure, and impotence. Hypertension is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease and stroke. The prevalence of diabetes and hypertension is increasing globally. There is strong evidence from clinical trials that lifestyle modification and education can minimize the risk of diabetes and high blood pressure, as well as preventive measures that can reduce morbidity and mortality. Based on a study carried out by the team before the activity was held, information was obtained that the majority of pre-elderly and elderly residents had never had a health check-up. The aim to be achieved in this activity is to provide health education through checking blood pressure and blood sugar as well as providing counseling to pre-elderly and elderly groups. This program was held on November 11, 2023 at the Pandanrejo Village Hall, Wagir District, Malang Regency with a total of 50 participants. The methods used to solve partner problems are health checks and counseling. After carrying out the activities, pre-elderly and elderly residents can find out their blood pressure and blood sugar levels and understand well about healthcare efforts.

Abstract

Kendala dalam mengelola sampah di masyarakat terus menjadi tantangan yang sulit diatasi. Terutama, masalah sampah plastik disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman warga tentang tata kelola sampah. Salah satu solusi sederhana yang telah diterapkan adalah melalui pengembangan program bank sampah di Kecamatan Maulafa, Kota Kupang, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Dalam pelaksanaan program ini, pendampingan mitra dilakukan mulai dari pembuatan situs web hingga promosi yang menarik di media sosial untuk Bank Sampah Mutiara Timor. Hasilnya menunjukkan kelancaran program dengan meningkatnya jumlah nasabah di Bank Sampah Mutiara, terutama melibatkan 120 generasi muda di Kota Kupang. Selain itu, pengabdian ini juga memperkaya sumber daya manusia di Bank Sampah dan mempermudah akses melalui situs web yang telah dibuat. Harapan ke depannya adalah agar kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat terus berlanjut, membantu mitra dalam menyebarkan sosialisasi, khususnya kepada ibu rumah tangga di Kota Kupang, untuk menabung sampah dan menghasilkan uang dari kegiatan tersebut.
