Natural Science: Jurnal Penelitian Bidang IPA dan Pendidikan IPA
Jurnal Natural Science ini memuat artikel yang membahas aspek pendidikan Fisika, metode, model pembelajaran IPA Fisika, inovasi-inovasi pembelajaran, perangkat pembelajaran, dan aspek fisika murni. Tim redaksi menerima artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian, laporan studikasus, kajian dan tinjauan pustaka. Terbitnya jurnal pendidikan ini menjadikan suatu indikator bahwa prodi Tadris IPA Fisika sangat peduli terhadap perkembangan dan inovasi-inovasi pada bidang sains terutama pendidikan Fisika. Selain itu adanya Jurnal Natural Science menunjukkan bahwa para dosen Tadris IPA Fisika sudah membudayakan meneliti dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitian. Jurnal studi pendidikan fisika juga mengajak pihak lain berpartisipasi dalam penerbitan jurnal baik universitas local maupun tingkat nasional dan bahkan internasional. An analysis of resistance values has been carried out on a single cable keypad configuration using a voltage divider system. The single cable keypad configuration is used to minimize the use of a microcontroller input output line. Keypads can be arranged using a matrix and without a matrix. For without matrix the number of arduino input output paths used is as many as the number of buttons on the keypad while using the matrix the number of input output lines used is fewer, namely the number of rows and columns that make up the matrix keypad. The 3x4 matrix keypad will require 7 microcontroller input output lines. On a one-wire matrix keypad a voltage divider system is used by adjusting the resistance value of a resistor such that the voltage divider output will give a different value for each keypress keypad. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze what resistance value is needed in the matrix keypad configuration so that it is expected that it can be used for a larger matrix size if later in the making of learning media it requires a very large number of buttons.

This study aims to find out the quality of the details of biology class XI MAS Kerinci about the excretory system by using the program anates version 4. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach and data collection techniques conducted with test techniques in the form of questions about the excretory system amounting to 40 points in the form of multiple choice. The population in this study was all students of grade XI MAS Kerinci as many as 40 students. The sample in this study as many as 36 students determined through the formula Slovin with a level of significance of 5%. Data analysis using computer program Anates version 4 for windows. The results showed a very high problem reliability rate of 0.90, good differentiating power of 47.5%, medium difficulty rate of 90%, and excellent pengecoh quality of 100%.Â

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of student ability through independent tasks and experiment methods in the Science Tadris Study Program of Physics, UIN Imam Bonjol "with the concepts of temperature and the first law of thermodynamics and heat capacity. The results showed that the value of the independent assignment on the temperature concept material with an average pre-test score of 39.03 and an average post-test score of 60.32. From the results of the prestest and posttest, the percentage increase in value was 55.45%. In the first law material of thermodynamics and heat capacity, the learning process in the first law material of thermodynamics is an independent task coupled with experiments. The results obtained are the value of independent assignments on the subject of law I thermodynamics and heat capacity with an average pre-test value of 55.15 and an average posttest score of 77.39. From the results of the prestest and posttest, the percentage increase in value was 41.45%. Furthermore, the experimental value with the material of the first law of thermodynamics obtained an average experimental value at the pretest of 53.04 and the average result of the posttest was 74.04. The percentage increase between the pretest and poststest values was 40.79%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the posttest average was higher than the average prestest so it could be concluded that through the independent assignment method and experimentation it could improve students' abilities on the concept of temperature, first law of thermodynamics and heat capacity.

This study aims to determine whether the results of learning physics by using a type of cooperative learning model Think Talk Write higher than conventional learning in class VIII MTsN Tarusan. This research is quasy experiment with the design study is a randomized control group only design. The study population was a class VIII MTsN Tarusan Academic Year 2015/2016 second semester consisting of 4 classes. To take samples in this study used cluster random sampling technique. Based on the results of the sample selection, diperolehlah VIIID class as an experimental class and the class as a class VIIIB control. Data collection techniques used include tests and observation. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is by using the t test for normally distributed data and data group has a homogeneous variance. Based on analysis of data obtained, the student activity (affective aspect) in the experimental class is higher than the control class. This research purpose to know whether cooperative model application with student facilitator and explaining type can increase physics concept comprehension of students compared with conventional mode at VIII class of MTsN Durian Tarung. This research is a quasi experiment research the randomized control group only design research program. The population of this research are all of VIII class of MTsN Durian Tarung Padang at 2016/2017 period consist of 8 classes. The getting data technique done is cluster random sampling. This is acquired by VIII1 class as experiment class and VIII3 class as control class. In this research acquired average value of physics student at cognitive side are 82,8 of experiment class and 79,0 of control class. Besed on data analysis have been gottenhave been gotten ,thitung = 2.008 and ttabel = 1.66 at the real level of 0.05. The result shows that t hitung > t tabel, until H0 rejected and H1 accepted. And the conclusion is comprehension physics concept by using student facilitator and explaining model advanced from concept comprehension by using conventional method in VIII class of MTsN Durian Tarung at 2016/2017 period.

The purpose of this study is to design learning media in the form of websites without networks to help students learn independently in material momentum and impulses that are valid, practical and effective. Research is R & D research. This stage of development and development uses the Borg and Gall model which consists of 10 steps. The results showed that the website without the network developed had met the criteria for learning media that were valid, practical and effective. The results of the expert validation show that websites without networks are very valid from the aspects of content, construction and language. The results of the trial to see the practicality of showing a website without a network can be used in learning and is easy to use by teachers and students. The effectiveness of a website without a network that is seen from learning independence shows that students are very helpful for independent learning at home, because it is easy to use, the material is easy to understand and fits the needs of students.

The purpose of this study was to develop a diagnostic test in the form of a Three-tier test to identify students' mis-conceptions in Newton's Law material. This research is a development study using the 4D model (Thiagarajan). Threer-tier test diagnostic test instrument format consists of 20 items. Item validation was obtained from the consideration of expert lecturers. The practicality test of the Diagnostic Test questions is given to physics educators and students of class X IPA SMAN 1 Sungai Beremas. The effectiveness test was carried out on 20 students of class X IPA 1 of SMAN 1 Sungai Beremas. The test results show that the developed diagnostic tests are valid with an average of 86,11, practical with an average of 93 (educators) and 83 (students). Effectiveness can be seen from the analysis of misconceptions, namely students experiencing high mis-conceptions of 7 people (35%), moderate misconceptions of 8 people (40%), and low misconceptions of 5 people (25%). It seems that the diagnostic test developed is valid, practical and able to detect misconceptions in students.

The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of the development of high school physics student worksheets (LKPD) based on generative learning models. This development research uses a 4-D model. To see the effectiveness of the product, a develop step is carried out. The research sample was students of class X SMAN 1 Bayang Utara, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The results showed that LKPD was very effective in increasing the competence of attitudes, skills, and knowledge of students, with an average rating as follows: 76.47% effective category; Skills 80.48% very effective category; Knowledge of 81.58% category is very effective. This shows that the High School Physics Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on the Generative Learning Model can be used to improve the competence of Attitudes, Skills, and Knowledge of class X SMA students on dynamic electricity material.

The purpose of this study is to see the effect size of the effect book of integrated science teaching materials to increase the knowledge of students, where this study uses the meta-analysis method. The articles obtained in this study amounted to 20. The results of this study were first that an integrated science book has high effectiveness in increasing the knowledge of students. Second, if it is seen based on its classification, pocket books have the highest effectiveness for increasing students' knowledge. Third, the integrated science book is effectively used to increase the knowledge of students at all levels of education. Fourth, the theme of chemicals in life is effectively used to increase learners' knowledge.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Physics Edutainment learning with PhET media on the logical thinking ability of Payakumbuh 2 Senior High School students. This type of research is a quasi experiment using Counterbalance Design. The research population is class XI MIPA with sample classes XI MIPA 5 and XI MIPA 7. The research instruments used was a tests. Data were analyzed using Two-Sample Assuming Equal Variances. The research results in terms of knowledge aspects, the average score of students' logical thinking ability tests was better with Physics Edutainment learning. Mastery learning outcomes reach 90.7% and the average value of the KKM is 88. Then it can be concluded that the learning of Physics Edutainment is effective in improving students' logical thingking ability in the matter of wave interference and global warming symptoms. Â
