Tim redaksi menerima artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian, laporan studikasus, kajian dan tinjauan pustaka. Terbitnya jurnal pendidikan ini menjadikan suatu indikator bahwa prodi Tadris IPA Fisika sangat peduli terhadap perkembangan dan inovasi-inovasi pada bidang sains terutama pendidikan Fisika. Selain itu adanya Jurnal Natural Science menunjukkan bahwa para dosen Tadris IPA Fisika sudah membudayakan meneliti dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitian. Jurnal studi pendidikan fisika juga mengajak pihak lain berpartisipasi dalam penerbitan jurnal baik universitas local maupun tingkat nasional dan bahkan internasional. Abstract

The building of  low voltage and cost of spin coater using DC brushless motor from the old hard disk drivers has been carried out. The spin speed of spin coater offers manual control using potensiometer. The equipment consist of the simple hardware: IC timer 555, IC shift register SIPO 74LS164, IC driver L293D, microcontroller AT889S52, LCD and then motor speed detector using a couple of photodiode and LED and using IC Schmitt trigger inverter 74LS14 as the amplifier of the sensor. The data analysis result showed that the speed up spin of  the spin coater depend on the signal frequency from multivibrator. The equipment has spin speed stability with speed range from 180 rpm until 2460 rpm. Spin coater to be tested for applications where a glass slide microscope are coated with TiO2 (Titanium Dioksida) about varies speed and show that coating result can be fliemsier with addition of speed spin the spin coater.

Abstract

This research is based on low scientific literacy of students. This is due to many factors, one of which is the textbook used less able to develop the scientific literacy students. Educators are required to provide teaching materials like a module that develops scientific literacy students. This type of research is Research and Development (R & D) model 4-D models by Thiagarajan and Sammel. Instruments used are questionnaire validity and questionnaire of practicality. The result show that the characteristics of prototype are the knowledge of science, the investigative nature of science, science as a way of thinking, interaction of science and technology, and society (scientific literacy contents). At process of design, a module of digestive system based scientific literacy develop based on the as reality and good practical education. Module have been categorized as valid based on expert judgment. The learning module have been categorized as practical based on the observation, respons es of teachers and learners. In conclusion, developing a module of digestive system based scientific literacy have the relevancy and internal consistency to develop scientific literacy students.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan essay assessment berbasis Creative Problm Solving (CPS) menggunakan 4-D model. Tahap-tahap dalam 4-D model terdiri dari define, desain, development dan disseminate. Hasil analisis dari tahap define menyataan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di SMAN 7 Padang masih rendah dan diperlukan pengembangan lembar essay assessment berbasis creative problem solving. Setelah tahap define dilakukan, selanjutnya dilakukan tahap design (perancangan). pengembangan essay assessment dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Tahap selanjutnya adalah tahap develop (pengembangan) yang meliputi uji validitas, uji praktikalitas, dan uji efektivitas. Validasi terhadap essay assessment dilakukan dengan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap awal, revisi, dan tahap akhir. Tahap awal bertujuan untuk mendapatkan saran perbaikan dari validator terhadap essay assessment yang telah dibuat. Saran dan perbaikan dari validator digunakan sebagai pedoman untuk merevisi essay assessment yang telah dibuat. Setelah direvisi, essay assessment siap divalidasi akhir oleh validator sampai didapat essay assessment yang benar-benar valid untuk diujicobakan. Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang mendeskripsikan hasil uji validasi essay assessment berbasis creative problem solving untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the media often used by educators is only visual, so abstract material cannot be concretized. Educators explain the material only with media in the form of whiteboards, markers, props and occasionally use power points. The learning process like this causes students to feel bored to take part in learning. The purpose of this study is to produce physics learning media using Corel Video Studio X 7 on the valid, practical and effective kinetic theory of gas material. This research is research and development (R & D). The design of the development of physics learning media using Corel Video Studio Pro X 7 on the material of Gas Kinetic Theory is using the 4D development model including: 1) define phase; 2) planning phase; and 3) develop and last stage disseminate. The instruments used in this study were validity questionnaire, practical questionnaire, and effectiveness questionnaire. The media validity test is given to 5 expert validators assessed from the material / content, media / construction, and language aspects. Practicality tests are given to educators and students, while the effectiveness test is given to students. The result of the research is that physics learning media has been produced using the valid, practical and effective Corel Video Studio Pro X 7 application.

Abstract

Cream  is one of the pharmaceutical preparations that used topically for  treatment of skin diseases. Candlenut bark has compounds that have inhibitory activities as antibacterial. In this research, a cream formulation was made from the ethanolic extract of candlenut bark. Candlenut bark extract cream has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus. Evaluation of cream such as organoleptic, adhesion, homogeneity and obtained good results.

Abstract

Research to measure the level of competency attainment of students tadris IPA Physics class A 2019 on the material of measurement, submaterial measurement’s defenition, measurement’s type and measurement’s important term in the electrical measuring instruments. This research has used a qualitative approach with descriptive research and case studies. Data collection techniques through self-application by students towards their level of competency using google serial forms. The results showed that the activeness of students in following learning is quite high. The level of readiness of students following the learning is quite good. In addition, based on the results of research can be seen that there is an improvement in material mastery competency after learning. This can be seen from the improvement of each component of competency before learning and after learning. In addition, the level of confidence in the correctness of the answers given in the pretest and posttest also increased. In addition, the research findings that students are still weak in learning competencies distinguish the level of precision and accuracy in measurement so that the material enrichment is required.

Abstract

This research aims to determine differences in learning outcomes IPA-Physics students taught using models problem Solving with learning Model TPS mode and conventional learning. Hypothesis (H1) formulated in this study is the "Third Problem solving learning model, Think-Pair-Share and learning Konvensioanal learning outcomes IPA-physics are not the same". This research is quasy experiment and design of the study is a post test only control group design. The study population was all students of class VII MTsN Tarusan, South Coastal District first semester of academic year 2016/2017. Sample were taken using cluster random sampling technique. Retrieved class VII B as the experimental class I (Problem Solving), a class VII D as the experimental class II (Think-Pair-Share) and class VII C as the control class (conventional learning).The average results of studying physics at the cognitive aspects of the experimental class I (Problem Solving) is 80.46 in the experimental class II (Think-Pair-Share) was 78,27,14 and the control class method was 70 (Conventional). Based on hypothesis testing, f count > f table (6,49 > 3.10) so that H0 and H1 accepted, meaning all three learning model provides science-physics learning outcomes are not the same. After the test of the hypothesis H0 decision, to determine which model of learning most good, do multiple comparison test (multiple comparison) with Scheffe test. the results of the data analysis Scheffe test showed Fs> F table (11,68 > 9.55). So we can conclude there are differences in all three classes on the material characteristics of the sample substance and physical and chemical changes.

Abstract

Tahap design ini merupakan kelanjutan dari tahap define pada 4-D model. Tahapan dalam 4-D meliputi define, design, development dan disseminate. Analisis terhadap hasil define menunjukkan bahwa MAN Koto Baru Solok membutuhkan bahan ajar yang mampu mengembangkan seluruh kompetensi peserta didik, tidak hanya kompetensi pengetahuan, tetapi juga kompetensi keterampilan dan sikap (sosial dan spiritual). Peserta didik membutuhkan bahan ajar yang sistematis, sederhana, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik diri dan lingkungan madrasah. Hasil ini ditindaklanjuti dengan mendesain bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang mendeskripsikan rancangan bahan ajar fisika SMA terintegrasi iman dan takwa berbasis discovery learning pada materi suhu dan kalor. Tahap Design bahan ajar dimulai dengan penyusunan standar tes, pemilihan media, pemilihan format, dan membuat rancangan awal. Bahan ajar yang didesain adalah handout dan diintegrasikan dengan iman dan takwa. Rancangan bahan ajar terintegrasi iman dan takwa berbasis discovery learning terdiri atas: cover, pendahuluan, dan sasaran pembelajaran. Tahap kegiatan pada bahan ajar disesuaikan dengan tahap-tahap discovery learning. Evalusi mencakup pemahaman dan penalaran..

Abstract

The Goal of this paper is to analyze the use of science laboratory specially physics laboratory in junior high school. The research method uses library research. The results of the study can be seen that laboratory is one of  important thing to encourage interaction between student and learning object on junior high school. Laboratory and  all of kind the tool is important to support learning proses in school as write as in government role at PP number 19 2005 abaut National education standard. Abstract

Research on the Implementation of Trait Treatment Interaction Model Assisted by Ispring Suite Application to Influence Science Literacy at SMAN 16 Padang. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the research design used is the Randomized Control Group Only Design. The study population was all students of class XI MIA Academic Year 2018/2019. The sample technique in this study is Clauster Random Sampling and the research sample is class XI MIA 2 as an experimental class (High class) and class XI MIA 3 as a control class (Slow class). The final test to study physics is given in both sample classes of essay questions. The data analysis technique used to test hypotheses is the Paired Sample T-Test, provided that the data are normally distributed and the data groups have homogeneous variances. The results of statistical analysis showed that the average value of physics learning outcomes of experimental class students was 81.47 while in the control class 79.44. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test analysis were of significance 0.001 <0.05. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded outside the reception area of H0. Thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, then T count 45.768> T table 0.67874 then there are differences in students who have the ability to quickly (faster learner) by using self-learning (self learning) is higher than regular learning (regular teaching) with additional learning ( tutorial) to influence Science Literacy.
