Abstract

The factual situation of school is the absence of a raw Javanese character assessment instrument that is backed by this research. The purpose of research is to know the validity level and the efficacy of the assessment instrument, which is the ability to use a mengalihaksarakan serat wulangreh pupuh gambuh to make the teacher in the assessment more objective, for the researchers need to conduct the validity test of the content and reliability of the interrater against the instrument used. The method used is a quantitative description using 3 expert judgment, one of teachers’ Javanese language teachers are from SMP N 1 Brangon and SMK ma'arif NU 01 Semarang and member of the expert instrument development is the graduate lecturer in Semarang State University. The researchers use the validation instrument to obtain its data by providing a checklist of aspects that have been created by researchers with 4 categories that are appropriate, appropriate, inappropriate, and not appropriate. The data is then analysed using the Aiken V formula to determine the level of validity and the instrument, and to know the consistent data then the reliability test is carried out using Two Way Anova with the help of SPSS version 16.0 application that continued calculations using HOYT formula. The result of the content validation analysis shows the value above 0.3 which means all aspects assessed by experts are valid. The reliability test using the formula Hoyt obtained the value of 0702 means that all aspects assessed by 3 expert judgment have a degree. The assessment instrument is mengalihaksarakan serat wulangreh pupuh gambuh a after tested the validity of the contents and reliability of valid and reliable.

Abstract

Instrument based assessment of the scientific approach is very important learning process developed to measure scientific students. The instrument is said to be good and true if valid criteria, the reliability, practical, and effective. This research aimed to know the instrument character, to get a valid and reliability instrument, to examme instrument practicality, and to test the instrument effectiveness level in measuring students scientific learning process. This research used a qualitative and quantitative and adapted the method of research and development Borg and Gall models. The content validity of the instrument was validated by experts. Assessment instruments were tested at 30 students (limited) and 100 students (broad). The validity of the instrument items were analyzed with the program SPSS 16.0 version and obtamed which representated 20 items every scientific learning indicators. Reliability were analyzed with the SPSS program 16.0 version and obtamed the reliability by value 0.908 (very high). The validity of the assessment instruments constructs were analyzed by using LISREL program 8.8. version and model compatibility fulfilled a good of fit criteria with the grade of value (0.6159), RMSEA (0.000), RMR (0.061), CFI (1.00), NFI (0.98), GFI (0.97), AGFI (0.93), NNFI (0.98), PNFI (0.74), and PGFI (0.81). The results of the value calculation of construct reliability was 0.95 and variance extracted value was to 0.54. Assessment instruments had practicality and effectiveness level with "very good" category based on the user's response.

Abstract

This paper is a qualitative study which aimed at finding the result of authentic assessment implementation in assessing student English speaking skill. The data were analyzed using content analysis approach. The result of the study showed that the students in their speaking practice got various score in each category. In fluency category, there were five students or 16.67% got 5 score. It meant the student’s fluency and their volume is better. It was smooth and fluid speech. There were few or no hesitations and also there were not attempts to search for words. In pronunciation and accent category, the students who got 5 score was only two students or 7% which their pronunciation is excellent. They had good effort at accent like native. In vocabulary category, the students who got 5 score was 11 students or 37%. It meant their language control was excellent and there was a wide range of well-chosen vocabulary. In grammar category, there were only one student or 3.33% got 5 score. His/her grammatical structures are accuracy and variety. The last category was details which 16 students 53.33% got 5 score. It meant that their level of description was excellent. Additional details information beyond the required included. In the process of conducting evaluation, authentic assessment has big enough influence especially in assessing students’ speaking skill.

Abstract

In general, problems that occur in the actual are the discovery of instruments that have not been tested for problem solving abilities. The aim of this research is to reveal the content validity and interrater reliability of the instrument for evaluating the problem solving abilities that have been prepared. The research method is used a quantitative description by 3 expert judgments, they are experts in research and evaluation, mathematics education experts, and mathematics teachers. The instrument was developed in the form of an expert observation sheet with 3 aspects of assessment, they are the aspect of content eligibility, construction aspects, and language aspects, which of each aspect has 4 categories, which are very relevant, relevant, quite relevant, and highly irrelevant. Data were analyzed using the Aiken's V formula to determine the level of instrument validity and to determine the level of consistency / constancy between assessors using Instraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) analysis with the help of SPSS version 23.0. the results of analysis of the content validity of all items valued above 0.3 which means that all aspects assessed by experts are valid. Interrater reliability test using ICC obtained a value of 0.516, which means that all aspects of the instrument for evaluating problem solving abilities that have been rated have a level of consistency. Thus, the instrument of problem-solving ability that has been tested for validity and reliability can be used by educators to determine the level of students' problem solving abilities appropriately.

Abstract

This study aims to develop LKS in the form of Thematic Worksheet Based on Environmental Care Character Education on Theme 8 "Environment of Our Friends" Subtema 3 "Environmental Conservation Efforts" for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 15 Lubuklinggau and to find out the quality of LKS seen from the validity and practical aspects. This research is a development research with 4D development model (four D model). Data collection techniques in the study are interviews and questionnaires / questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses a Likert scale. The results showed that: (1) The validity of the worksheet showed that the worksheets developed were included in the Valid classification of the language worthiness component with an average score of 3.00, the content eligibility component was included in the Valid classification with an average score of 3.23 , and the presentation eligibility component is included in the Valid classification with an average score of 3.07. (2) the quality of teaching materials seen from the aspect of practicality included in the classification of "Very Practical" with an average score of 4.50 determined based on the results of students' questionnaire responses to worksheets.

Abstract

Online learning is one of the innovations in education in respond to the development of technology nowadays that is to provide innovative learning source. It allows students to have more flexibility in learning since it can be done whenever and wherever they want it to be. They could interact with the lecturer through applications like e-classroom, video conference, zoom or even chat in whatsapp group. Online learning is also an innovation in education to imprve the literacy competence of students and encourages students to be able to do three critical analysis such as conducting interview, examining the environment, writing report, and doing observation well.This study aims at analyzing the proses of online learning conducted for the PGSD Unnes students and analyzing the influence of the learning on the improvement of their literacy competence throughout the pandemic crisis. The method implemented is mixed method that is conducting both parametric and non-parametric statistic analysis. It is started from quantitative data that is processed and tested using statistics test, continued by analyzing the data using descriptive qualitative method to portray the process and influence of online learning on the improvement of literacy competence of PGSD students during the pandemic. Based on the observation and questionnaire, it could be analyzed how much the students participate in the online larning process and literary activity during the pandemic. The samples in this research are the students of PGSD Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). The data collected from the samples then being analyzed using statistics and descriptive test, presented and concluded.

Abstract

This development research aims to develop valid and practical Ethnoscience Teaching Materials in the 5E Learning Cycle Model based on Local Wisdom of Elementary School Students. This type of research is Research and Development, adopting the Plomp development model which consists of three stages in developing, namely (1) preliminary research or preliminary analysis, (2) the prototyping phase or the design stage, and (3) the assessment phase. Data collection in research is interviews and questionnaires / questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses a Likert scale. The results showed that the media validation was classified as good with a percentage of 76.85%. The result of language validation is good with a percen tage of 71.43%. The results of the material validation category were very good with a percentage of 91.25%. Overall the results of the analysis and calculation of the questionnaire value from the expert team, Ethnoscience Teaching Materials in the 5E Learning Cycle Model based on Local Wisdom of Elementary School Students are in the very good category with a percentage of 80.33% meaning Ethnoscience Teaching Materials in the 5E Learning Cycle Model are based on Local Wisdom Elementary school students are valid and practical to use.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the absence of an instrument for assessing the independence of students in basic beauty subjects that were tested for validity and reliability. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and reliability of the content of the students' independence assessment instruments in basic beauty subjects at SMK that had previously been compiled. The instruments developed were observation sheets for teachers and self-assessments for students. Analysis of the content validity of the instrument used the Aiken V coefficient and the reliability of the instrument content was determined by the ICC In this validity and reliability test, it involves 3 expert judgments to assess the instrument. The three expert judgments are development and research experts, beauticians, and beauty practitioners. Based on the results of this research, it shows that the observation sheet and self-assessment are proven valid with the Aiken'V coefficient of 0.69 where the score is> 0.3 and reliable with the Alpha Reliability coefficient > 0.874 and ICC = 0.698, because rxx > 0.6 thus the character assessment instrument for vocational school students can be said to be reliable. Based on the results of this research, the instrument for assessing the independence of students in basic beauty subjects at SMK in skin and hair expertise competency is suitable for use. The benefit of this research is that it can be used as a standard guide in measuring the content of students' independence instruments in learning basic beauty in SMK.

Abstract

Authentic assessment at school has generally been carried out, but has not been supported by a tested assessment instrument. The purpose of this study was to produce a valid, reliable, and practical assessment instrument in learning soccer kicking material. The research method used is research and development involving 3 expert assessments, namely, Information Technology Experts, and Sport and health physical education teachers. The expert validation instrument has 4 categories, namely invalid, less valid, valid, very valid. For data analysis, the validity level used the Aiken's V formula, while knowing the reliability level of the instrument used the Cronbach alpha formula assisted by SPSS 16.0. The results of the content validation analysis of all items were valued above 0.3, which means that all aspects assessed by the expert were valid. The reliability test of the assessment instrument using Cronbach's alpha was obtained a value of 0.747. The practicality test of the assessment instrument in the form of a website has a value of 85%. It can be concluded that the instrument application has a very high level of practicality. This study serves to increase the reference data of researchers and of course it can be used by teachers in conducting assessments.

Abstract

This research was part of the research development a instrument test for the ability to solve physics problems based on problems that occur in the field, that is an instrument for assessing the ability to solve problems that has not been tested. The purpose of this study was to reveal the validity and reliability of the contents of the physics problem solving ability test instrument that had previously been compiled. The research method used is a quantitative description by 5 expert judgments. The instrument developed in the form of an expert observation sheet with 3 aspects of assessment, namely aspects of content feasibility, aspects of construction and aspects of language. Analysis of the content validity of the observation sheet using the V coefficient by Aiken and the reliability of the instrument content using the Inter-class Correlation Coefficient (ICC) analysis with the help of SPSS version 16.0. Based on the results of the study, it shows valid results with all item items valued> 0.3, those are with the lowest index 0.6 and the highest 1.0. Inter-rater reliability test using ICC obtained a value of 0.630, which means that all aspects of the instrument for assessing the ability of physics problem solving that have been assessed have a level of consistency. Based on the results of these studies, the test instrument for the ability to solve physics problems is feasible to use.
