Jurnal TUNAS adalah jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh LPPM STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar yang Tujuan dari publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual atau ide dan hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian masyarakat. Jurnal TUNAS: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, berisi berbagai kegiatan dalam menangani dan mengelola berbagai potensi, hambatan, tantangan, dan masalah yang ada di masyarakat. Implementasi kegiatan layanan juga melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mitra. Kegiatan pelayanan diorganisasikan menjadi kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Silakan baca panduan ini dengan seksama. Penulis yang ingin menyerahkan naskah mereka ke redaksi Jurna TUNAS: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat harus mematuhi pedoman penulisan. Jika naskah yang dikirimkan tidak sesuai dengan pedoman atau ditulis dalam format yang berbeda, naskah tersebut akan DITOLAK oleh editor sebelum ditinjau lebih lanjut. Para editor hanya akan menerima naskah yang memenuhi format yang ditugaskan. Jurnal TUNAS terbit 2 kali setahun. Pengiriman artikel tidak dipungut biaya, kemudian artikel yang diterima akan diterbitkan secara online dan dapat diakses secara gratis.

Abstract

The rapid growth of technology and information at this time is really very easy for humans to find and gather information, of course the use of computers as media in obtaining such information is needed. That development also finally had a good impact in several sectors of life, one of which was in the education sector. The use of computers has become indispensable at this time, as evidenced by the existence of a number of computer systems in the implementation of education to migrate for the better, such as the implementation of examinations with a computer based system. However, it seems that this was not welcomed by students due to the low level and the lack of understanding of students in terms of computer mastery, so that computer-based exams became quite difficult for these students. To improve the ability of students in computer mastery, especially students in the Amal Bakti Private High School (SMA) Medan, this community service was carried out. As a result, students' understanding has improved and they have become accustomed to using computers.

Abstract

Submission of da'wah messages can be done in various ways. One of them uses audio-visual media in the form of video that can display elements of images and sound simultaneously. The use of video in the submission of da'wah messages is considered quite effective, because it can reach a wider audience and regional coverage. To be accepted by the audience, besides mastering the propaganda material delivered is demanded by the creativity of the video maker. The video of the work of creativity is part of the creative industry that has economic added value. If the video is distributed through You Tube to gain economic value, the video must collect at least 4,000 hours of watch time in the last 12 months and have a minimum of 1,000 subscribers.

Abstract

The results of the implementation of service activities that have been carried out that PAUD teacher's knowledge about microsoft office learning as an application of word processing is still inadequate prior to the training. This is indicated from the results of the pre-test. Activities carried out by the team of lecturers and students of STIKOM Tunas Bangsa "Pemburu Jurnal" in kindergarten. Nazaret HKBP addressing Jl. Jend. Ahmad Yani No. 63 Pematangsiantar is a positive activity that aims to equip PAUD teachers about technological knowledge, especially microsoft office as a word processing application that is required to be known in technological 4.0. The number of 60 PAUD teacher participants in the city of Pematangsiantar who worked on the pre-test and post-test stated that the insights of knowledge about learning Microsoft Word as an application of word processing increased. In the pre-test session, test participants can answer a maximum of 9 questions correctly by 8% (5 participants) and no one can answer 10 questions correctly (0%). While in the post test session, participants were able to answer all questions correctly as many as 10 questions by 45% (28 participants).

Abstract

In Karangtaruna School Dropout Youth Training activities in Kotamatsum IV, Medan Area Medan City District has a very dense population, motivated by various tribes, different livelihoods and low parental education. As for the level of life there are still many who live below the average, with poor conditions, where parents are unable to pay for adolescents for school, causing many teenagers who drop out of school and unemployed .. With the Youth Training activities Karangtaruna teenagers dropping out will provide knowledge and ability in installing electricity and AC services to school dropouts from disadvantaged families, assisting the administration of Kotamatsum IV in realizing non-governmental organizations through Youth Organization, to provide skills, so that they have competence in finding work, or entrepreneurship in the field of installation. Abstract

The Community Engagement activity is done this time is to help the Malay traditional food entrepreneurs who can be said to be less commercial among other culinaries, because when the team Community Engagement conducts a survey to Medan Labuhan a few days ago, there were many Malay traditional food entrepreneurs complaining that their products were difficult to sell, not much demand. If you only expect local buyers, almost all people are good at cooking Malay food and cakes. This makes the team who is struggling in the field of IT to help these women to expand their business by utilizing the internet that uses smartphones to advertise the food they make. The number of culinary or foreign dishes that enter Indonesia does not require the possibility of preserving Indonesia's traditional culinary increasingly eroded by the times. Therefore preservation of traditional culinary must be done because it is part of Indonesian culture. Therefore, the use of technology is very important to preserve traditional culinary and convey it to the public, especially the young generation today.

Internet is the media that has the most up to date information. Now as time grows many web-based applications that can be used as needed. The increasing development of technology is the growing number of human resource needs that are reliable and creative that can provide the latest innovations that can help to suit the needs. The young generation is a very competent generation to be a reliable human resource for example is students. To improve the quality of students to technological developments need to be held special vocational training program. This training Program provides a good impact on students. From pre test results and post test can be seen before training until after training. Abstract

State Vocational School 1 Sei Rampah Serdang Bedagai Regency annually holds Competency Exams for Class XII Lightweight Vocational School, prior to conducting the National Examination. Every year almost 90% fail in the Competency Exams conducted by these students. Therefore we are from Faculty of Engineering and Computer teaching staff serve this Vocational School to hold Competency Test Training for Class XI Students, so as not to fail when they later in class XII, to carry out competency tests. As for the implementation of competency training are: Tune up competency test training, Electricity, Steering System, Over Hole Engine and chassis.

Abstract

Every change of location can certainly cause problems for the environment and the personnel involved in it. This also happened in the case of relocation of Rajawali People's Traditional Marketing Pematang Siantar City. Many personnel involved in this relocation, both from government agencies and consultants, besides traders of course. Everything aims at how the relocation process running smoothly and traders can occupy the new location safely and legally. On this basis, we, the Universitas Harapan Medan Devotion Service Team, conducted socialization activities on Management of Decision Making in Relocating People’s Traditional Market.

Abstract

Multisim software application training at vocational schools is one way to introduce a software that functions to facilitate lessons related to electricity both in theory and practice. The theory learned in class can be applied to various basics of electronics and electrical circuits related to testing and practice so that vocational students can develop basic knowledge of electronics and electricity. while for the laboratory it can be used for calculations with existing circuit measurements in modules and in theory. By introducing this tool, it is hoped that vocational students can form study groups in schools so that learning outcomes in class and practice can be achieved..
