Abstract

Mobile money in Ghana has opened diverse opportunities in the financial sector and has become the catalyst in financial inclusion in emerging economies. The study adopted the survey methodology and limited to the two commercial banks in Ghana (to be identified as Bank A and Bank B), with a sampling size of 188 using the convenience sampling technique. The findings revealed consumer demands for mobile cash services are varied activities like withdrawing of cash among others, as it remains key reasons for the adoption of mobile money service in banks. Furthermore, stakeholders in mobile money and providers of mobile money considers customers' intent to use mobile money and its associated challenges to improve its use and encourage its general acceptance within the banking sector. The study suggests that, to boost growth and adoption, it is imperative to have guidelines that supports the ease and usefulness of mobile money service adoption.

Abstract

Shopping is a key function that characterizes the eThekwini Central Business District (CBD); however, the eThekwini CBD's central position as a favoured shopping center has deteriorated. The CBD's decline in dominance can be ascribed to a decrease in shopping trip frequency as a result of severe urban center traffic congestion, as well as a rise in the establishment of neighbouring shopping outlets in the city's outskirts. This research aims to investigate the impact of traffic congestion on shopping location selection in the eThekwini region. 400 participants were identified and selected using quantitative, non-probabilistic research methodologies, and convenience sampling procedures. Convenience and accessibility, tenant mix, entertainment, safety, and parking spaces are all significant qualities of a shopping area according to this study. The findings also suggest that the density of traffic congestion influences shoppers' perceptions of shopping location choices. According to the findings of this study, local authorities must analyze and combine all mitigating strategies to remove traffic congestion and restore the CBD's economic vibrancy. In the course of conducting the study, the researchers were constrained by a lack of adequate financial support and time.

Abstract

Islamic banking is quite unique because it prioritizes its operational activities on financing distribution, this raises a phenomenon related to liquidity problems. This study aims to examine the influence of internal factors, namely capital, credit risk level, third party funds, and external factors, namely the excange rate on the liquidity level of Islamic banks in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach using purposive sampling method in sampling. The test was carried out with multiple linear regression. The results showed that capital and credit risk level can affect liquidity. Meanwhile, third party funds and exchange rates are not proven in determining the level of liquidity of Islamic banks in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to explore, understand, and determine the role of distribution channels for Day Old Chicken and Day Old Duck hatchery industry players in Tulungagung Regency in managing their distribution channels. This research is important to do because this research will examine more deeply how to get distribution channels, how to manage distribution channels in marketing activities, and how to determine the right distribution channel strategy through SWOT analysis. This study aims to explore, understand, and determine the role of distribution channels for the Day Old Chicken and Day Old Duck hatchery industry players in Tulungagung Regency in managing their distribution channels. This research uses a qualitative approach and this type of research is a multi-case study. In this study, to obtain the validity of the data, triangulation was carried out. This research is qualitative research that uses SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) in analyzing and identifying data. The results show that the strategy adopted by the Poultry Hatchery Industry is a direct-distribution strategy, the direct distribution channel carried out by DOC and DOD has the main advantage in terms of cost, but there are also obstacles to further decline in sales targets. The results of the analysis found the cause of the decline in sales targets because the company did not fully implement direct distribution channels, one way to achieve this is by utilizing online marketing.

Abstract

Ethnic restaurants are the most popular restaurants in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effect of satisfaction with the marketing mix, namely satisfaction with the product, satisfaction with the price, satisfaction with the location, satisfaction with the promotion, satisfaction with the employee, satisfaction with the process, and satisfaction with the physical evidence on customer loyalty. The sample in this study were 200 respondents. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results prove that satisfaction with the product, satisfaction with the price, satisfaction with the location, and satisfaction with the employee affect customer loyalty, while satisfaction with the promotion, satisfaction with the process, and Satisfaction with the physical evidence do not affect customer loyalty of ethnic restaurant. This study provides an understanding that the customer satisfaction with the marketing mix offered by ethnic restaurants will create loyalty.

Abstract

Tourism is the fastest growing industry. Along with the progress of the times, the need for travel is increasing. Since the beginning of 2020, covid_19 has hit the world, one of the sectors that is feeling the impact of this pandemic is the tourism sector. This study discusses the influence of electronic word of mouth and risk perception on the decision to visit the Bojonegoro starfruit agrotourism during the covid_19 pandemic. The sample used in this study were 200 respondents aged 16-60 years. The sampling method used is judgmental sampling using a Likert scale as a measuring tool. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the electronic word of mouth variable had a significant effect on the visiting decision, while the risk perception variable had no significant effect on the visiting decision. The result of the study can be used as consideration for agrotourism to increase promotion through the internet to improve tourist visiting decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of health assessment indicators and the financial health condition of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). This research used a quantitative approach. The analysis technique used for evaluating the level of financial health referred to the Decree of The Minister of State-Owned Enterprises No. Kep- 100/MBU/2002. The data collection technique used was documentation studies sourced from the annual report of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) from 2018 through 2020. The results showed that the development of the indicator value of return on equity, return on investment, and cash ratio decreased, while the value of collection periods, the ratio of equity to total assets, and inventory turn over increased. This study also found the fluctuated value of the current ratio and total asset turnover. The financial health assessment in 2018 and 2019 had a healthy predicate. However, in 2020, it had an unhealthy financial health assessment predicate. Therefore, the company needs to have better financial performance to achieve good financial health conditions that will finally affect all stakeholders.

Abstract

MSMEs are the most important pillar of the Indonesian economy. MSMEs have a very significant contribution to the national economy (GDP). MSMEs also have an important role in advancing the regional economy to make MSMEs conduct the increasingly competitive business competition. This requires every MSME to have its advantages to compete in the global world. This research aims to test the influence of e-marketing usage on competitive advantage through product innovation and marketing performance. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a sample of 347 MSMEs in Central Java. Data analysis techniques use path analysis with Warp PLS 5.0 software. The results showed that e-marketing usage has a positive and significant effect on product innovation and competitive advantage, and e-marketing usage has a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage through product innovation. However, e-marketing usage does not affect marketing performance and e-marketing usage does not affect competitive advantage through product innovation.

Abstract

This literature review focuses on the relationship between working from home (WFH) and the new future order. The method employed is a bibliometric literature review that was examined using VOSviewer software. The VOSviewer software analysis technique was used to assess papers produced via the Scopus database and utilized as a reference for researchers. The findings of 315 papers were cited from 2020 to 2022, with just 40 articles being evaluated. The researchers then clarified and visualized co-authorship, co-accurance, and citation using VOSviewer softwareThis literature review, as a whole, provides a reliable starting point for additional research on the topic at hand. Working from home refers to a variety of methods of working that are common among today's workers. Working from home is a flexible and automated work method that allows employees to work from home via telecommuting, teleworking, and remote work by leveraging modern digital technology tools as a bridge to work. All men and women between the ages of 25 and 60 can work from home. Working flexibly in the "New Normal" focuses on the new order in the possibility of working from home is more focused on using SWOT analysis, which intends to read and observe working from home in the future

Abstract

This study aims to find empirical evidence of the effect of firm size on tax aggressiveness and the moderating role of earnings management on this effect. The population in this study is the restaurant, hotel, tourism and transportation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2013-2019 period. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, so that the sample data obtained was 80. Regression analysis and moderate regression analysis used to analyze the data. The results of this study indicate that firm size has no effect on tax aggressiveness. Earnings management moderate the effect of firm size on tax aggressiveness. Earnings management is a pure moderation on the effect of firm size on tax aggressiveness.
