Abstract

Ancient manuscripts are one of the historical relics that must be preserved in existence. Along with the development of science, the field of critical discourse analysis is increasingly in demand. But unfortunately, ancient manuscripts are still rarely studied with this field of imu. Therefore, this studyaims to present a critical discourse analysis on ancient manuscripts, namely the Bima Land Customary Law (HATB) manuscript belonging to the Bima (Mbojo) regional community in the province of West Nusa Tenggara. The presentation was delivered descriptively with Norman Fairclough's Model Critical Discourse Analysis Method. The research data is in the form of quotations of verses in the HATB manuscript. Data is collected by Listening Methods and Document Analysis Techniques. At the data analysis stage, the Norman Fairclough Model Critical Discourse Analysis is used by putting into practice all elements of its structure. In addition, data analysis activities utilize interactive analysis according to Miles and Huberman. Next, the data is presented by formal and informal methods. Based on the data analysis, it was shown that Fairclough divided the discourse analysis into three dimensions, namely text, discourse practice, and sociocultural practice. In the text of the Customary Law of Bima Land, these three things are integrated and sustainable. The manuscript was made by the people, because of the people, and in the interest of the people. The verses in the HATB text are representations of the relationship between man and God, man with man with other beings, and man with himself.

Abstract

A phenomenon this research linked to the mistake from auditor when giving audits opinions, therefore this research aimed to discover factors the receipt of going concern audit opinion with the firm size as a moderating variable and factors including independent commissioners, audit committee, and financial distress. Furthermore, the logistic analysis regression with the Eviews program was the hypothesis test used. The results of this study, the audit committee and financial distress had a notable effect towards going concern audit opinion, while independent commissioners had no impact. Firm size moderates the effect of the audit committee & financial distress on the opinion acceptance. However, it did not moderate the independent commissioners towards going concern opinion. Abstract

History records and the current reality has explained that the Minang people are an ethnic group known as the merchant tribe (entrepreneurs). His actions in trade from time to time have been recognized and his spread not only reaches his tribal areas but also extends to all parts of Indonesia and abroad. There are many amazing inspirational stories starting from the development of bilateral cooperation capabilities and the distribution of national ideologies through entrepreneurial activities. However, with all the potential and achievements achieved through entrepreneurship activities, it turns out that this profession is allegedly something that is not very coveted today by the Minang community. Entrepreneurship seems to be identified only for certain groups or qualifications of society and not for other communities. The entrepreneurial profession, which was originally something that was respected not only because of its ability to accumulate wealth but also its social effects, has become less "authoritative and elegant" in this day and age. It is necessary to study what phenomenon actually pervades the Minang community, where cultural wisdom upholds the entrepreneurship profession but the behavior of the people is indicated to be in the opposite direction.
