Abstract

Fast food retail is a service that focuses on serving fast food. The development of this industry is relatively high and of course, this increases competition within it. The theory used as the grand theory in this research is the Theory of Planned Behavior. The Theory of Planned Behavior states that the factors influencing actual behavior are perceived behavioral control, attitude, and subjective norms. This study examines four factors influencing intention to revisit and customer loyalty: perceived value, subjective norm, attitude and quality. Researchers added perceived value as a novelty in this research. The object of this research is the fast food retail. The subjects in this research were fast food retail consumers ranging in age from 15 years to 50 years or generations Y and Z. Researchers used a quantitative approach in this study with a purposive sampling technique, which resulted in 200 samples. This research uses SEM analysis with AMOS Graphic software to manage data. The findings indicate that perceived value significantly affects attitude, while subjective norms do not significantly influence intention to revisit and loyalty. Moreover, attitude and quality play crucial roles in shaping customer loyalty and intention to revisit.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how factors such as work motivation, work environment, and work stress affect the work spirit of employees of the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Tirta Gemilang Magelang which is one of the regionally owned business units, which is engaged in the processing and distribution of clean water for the general public workers. The quantitative methodology of this research relies on questionnaires that were randomly distributed to gather primary data. Using a Likert scale from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree), researchers asked participants to rate their level of agreement with a series of statements. Using the slovin formula, a sample of 53 individuals was obtained from a population of 113 individuals in this research. Tests for validity and reliability, multiple linear regression analysis, tests for classical assumptions like normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity, and tests for hypotheses like t tests, f tests, and adjusted R2 are all part of the statistical toolbox. Next, SPSS 26 software was used to process the collected data. Work environment and motivation both significantly and positively impact work spirit, according to the study's findings. However, there is substantial evidence that stress at work lowers morale. Researchers interested in learning more about work spirit might use this study's results as a starting point. Furthermore, businesses may use the study's findings to influence policies that aim to boost employee morale and productivity.

Abstract

This study analysed the issue of the quality of regional spending, by analyzing the influence of Connectivity Spending, Capital Expenditure and Fiscal Independence on the GDP growth rate in Regencies/Cities throughout Lampung Province in the period 2018 to 2022. The results of the analysis indicated that the Connectivity Expenditure variable had a positive and significant influence on the GDP rate, meaning that every 1% increase in connectivity spending could increase the GDP growth rate by 0.26%. Meanwhile, Capital Expenditure had a negative impact or suppresses the GDP rate. It marked the allocation of the capital expenditure budget for asset acquisition was less effective in supporting economic growth and development between regions. Likewise, Fiscal Independence had no significant effect on the pace of GDP. This condition reflected the region's large dependence on central transfers. Using the Vector Autoregression (VAR) found that all variables affect GDP with a lag of 1 year after meaning that three variables could affect the rate of GDP after 1 year of implementation. The results of this study overviewed the importance of selecting efficient types of Capital Expenditure and Connectivity Expenditure which had an impact on economic growth (spending better), as well as the importance of increasing regional fiscal capacity through PAD optimization to support regional financing and sustainable regional economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the extent to which the installation of tax banners as media of socialization can improve tax compliance among cafe and restaurant business actors in Pangkalpinang City. Restaurant tax (PB1) is an important contributor to local revenue, with revenue achievements in 2023 amounting to IDR 27.3 billion or 21.7% of total local revenue. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research sample includes 1-10 cafe and restaurant owners who have installed tax banners and routinely pay PB1. The research findings indicate that tax banners act as a visual reminder and educational media for consumers, although their influence on business actors is relatively limited. Banners are considered effective in increasing the timeliness of tax reporting, but do not have a significant impact on the amount of tax payments. The SWOT analysis reveals that banners have the advantage of being a cost-effective means of information and physical evidence of compliance, but also have weaknesses such as limited information space and the risk of "banner blindness". This study concludes that the installation of banners has a positive impact on tax compliance, although optimization efforts are still needed through more intensive socialization and periodic policy evaluation. The recommendations put forward include the need for further research with a quantitative approach and expanding the scope of research objects to obtain more comprehensive findings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of private investment, education level, and population growth on labor absorption in North Luwu Regency during the period 2010–2024. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis, based on secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and DPMPTSP of North Luwu Regency. The results of the study indicate that simultaneously, the three independent variables have a significant effect on labor absorption, as indicated by the F-statistic probability value of 0.001 and the determination coefficient value (adjusted R²) of 0.644. Partially, only the level of education shows a positive and significant effect on labor absorption, with a regression coefficient of 0.139, a t-count value of 3.647, and a significance of 0.004. Meanwhile, private investment has a regression coefficient of 0.021 (t-count = 1.329; sig. = 0.211) and population growth of 0.041 (t-count = 0.189; sig. = 0.728), both of which are insignificant. This finding underscores the importance of improving the quality of education to increase employment opportunities, and highlights that private investment that is not directed to labor-intensive sectors and population growth that is not balanced with job creation can limit labor absorption. The proposed policy implications include formulating incentives for investors in labor-intensive sectors, skills-based vocational education reform, and integrating population and employment policies to ensure that population growth becomes a potential, not a burden on development.

Abstract

Inflation is an essential economic indicator since it signals rising prices for goods and services. Economic factors influence Indonesia's inflation rate, including the money supply and exchange rate. These factors can have an impact not only on inflation at a single point in time but also throughout time. The money supply and exchange rate are two economic factors that substantially influence inflation. As a result, it is critical to forecast Indonesia's inflation rate using money supply and exchange rate as input variables. This study examines the effect of the money supply and exchange rate on the inflation rate. The data used is monthly from 2021-2023 sourced from Bank Indonesia (SEKI BI). This study used the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average with Exogenous Factor (ARIMAX) technique. The results reveal that the ARIMAX (0,2,1) accurately predicts inflation, as seen by MAPE values of 9.48%. The results also show that the money supply and exchange rate significantly affect the inflation rate in Indonesia. This is due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Indonesia, which has caused the inverse effect of the exogenous variables. The ARIMAX model can be a valuable and efficient tool for improving forecasting.

Abstract

This study examines how internal communication and work motivation affect civil servant performance through career development as a mediator. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory design to describe the relationship and influence between variables on 31 civil servants in the Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office of Musi Rawas Regency, data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The analysis included linear regression, path analysis, and Sobel's test to examine direct and indirect effects. The results showed that internal communication and work motivation had a positive effect on career development and performance; career development significantly mediated the influence of internal communication and work motivation on employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of career-based intervention designs that link organizational communication practices and employee motivation to performance achievement. The uniqueness of the study lies in testing the mediation model at the district level with explicit links between individual/organizational and performance, providing a concise and measurable empirical basis for formulating human resource development policies in the public sector. Recommendations emphasize strengthening internal communication, maintaining motivation, and structured career development programs to optimize civil servant performance.

Abstract

This research addresses the gap in public sector employee performance models in Indonesia, which are still dominated by structural factors such as incentives, while the integration of values (psychological and spiritual) is rarely tested quantitatively. This research examines the influence of work loyalty, individual characteristics, and external motivation on employee performance, as well as the role of spiritual intelligence as a moderator at the Lubuklinggau City Agriculture Office. A quantitative survey method was used on 81 employees; data was collected through questionnaires, observations, and document reviews, then analyzed using simple linear regression, t-tests, correlation tests, and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results show that all three variables have a positive and significant effect on performance, and spiritual intelligence strengthens the relationship between each variable and performance. The findings emphasize the urgency of a value-based performance framework that integrates spiritual dimensions into bureaucratic performance management practices. Limitations include a single-agency design, potentially biased self-assessment, and narrow scope. Nevertheless, this study contributes empirical evidence of the moderating effect of spiritual intelligence and offers a value-based performance framework that integrates psychological and spiritual parameters in the context of government organization.

Abstract

In the ASEAN context, the Republic of Indonesia ranks fourth in labor productivity within the region, reflecting ongoing complex challenges in optimizing its labor sector. Despite being endowed with abundant labor resources, Indonesia’s labor productivity lags behind several ASEAN neighbors, influenced by factors such as education gaps, skills mismatches, and uneven regional development. This study aims to identify Indonesian provinces falling into the optimal category of labor productivity based on key criteria: Gender Development Index, Health, Minimum Wage, and Investment. The novelty lies in explaining how Indonesia's regional characteristics form diverse pathways that illustrate the optimization potential of these regions. The objective of this study focuses on examining the conditions of regional characteristics associated with optimal labor productivity. This research uses a continuous analysis method known as Crisp-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (csQCA). csQCA specializes in analyzing binary data to identify multiple causal patterns logically and holistically. It uses Boolean algebra to simplify complex data sets, revealing how different combinations of conditions relate to outcomes. The objects studied were 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2023. The results showed that provinces with optimal Gender Development Index conditions are located in the DKI Jakarta area with the flagship Transjakarta Pink program. In addition, the optimal Good Health Operational (BOK) conditions are in the Southeast Sulawesi region through the flagship program of the Mobile Health Service Program. Optimal wage conditions were observed in 19 provinces as a result of government policies in maintaining people's purchasing power.
