Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the perceived opportunities and challenges of developing an artificial intelligence (AI) application for preserving Acehnese proverbs (Hadih Maja), a critical yet endangered component of cultural heritage. Conducted as a multi-stakeholder feasibility study, it engages academics (linguists, anthropologists, AI/data scientists) and cultural custodians (tokoh adat) in North Aceh and Lhokseumawe, Indonesia. Through reflexive thematic analysis of in-depth interviews, the research reveals a dualistic landscape. Stakeholders recognize AI’s transformative potential as a bridge for intergenerational engagement, enabling interactive, mobile-based learning for youth. However, this promise is counterbalanced by formidable socio-technical hurdles. Key challenges include the fundamental "low-resource" paradox—where data scarcity severely limits natural language processing capabilities—and profound ethical risks of cultural decontextualization, trivialization, and the erosion of community sovereignty over knowledge. The findings underscore that the primary impediments are not merely technical but deeply socio-technical, necessitating an approach that makes community governance and cultural integrity foundational. The study concludes that a successful initiative must be reconceptualized from an "AI development project" to a "community-led cultural revitalization project enabled by AI," prioritizing participatory co-design, ethical data governance guided by the CARE principles, and the creation of a culturally-grounded multimodal corpus before any substantial technical development. This research offers a critical framework for ethically and effectively leveraging AI in endangered language contexts globally.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the ethics of consumption and the behavior of Muslim consumers in an era of economic uncertainty. Unstable economic conditions, characterized by price and income fluctuations, encourage consumers to be more selective, rational, and cautious in making consumption decisions. The research uses a qualitative literature method by analyzing various literary sources related to Muslim consumption behavior, Islamic ethical principles, and consumer adaptation to economic dynamics. The results show that Muslim consumer behavior is influenced by economic factors, trust, technology, and religious values. Although economic pressures can affect consumption priorities, Islamic consumption ethics still act as a control mechanism, promoting principles of moderation, simplicity, and social care. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of adaptive, balanced, and sharia-compliant Muslim consumer behavior amidst economic uncertainty.

Abstract

The design of promotional media for the XOG 3 event was developed to build a strong brand image and strengthen solidarity among Yamaha Xmax user communities across Indonesia. The organization of XOG 3 also serves as a strategic platform to promote the City of Bukittinggi as the official host, while shaping public perceptions, emotions, associations, and expectations among Yamaha Xmax users nationwide. Using the SWOT analysis method, a relevant and strategic image concept was formulated for the promotional media design of the XOG 3 event in Bukittinggi. The event was branded with the title “Badunsanak Salamonyo,” a phrase that resonates strongly with local cultural identity and is expected to create immediate recognition of Bukittinggi among the target audience. The primary objective of designing the promotional media for XOG 3 is to establish a distinctive identity closely connected to Bukittinggi. This identity is intended to foster pride among local residents, stimulate economic growth, and differentiate Bukittinggi from other cities. Furthermore, the promotional media design for XOG 3 functions not only as event branding but also as a tourism promotion tool for Bukittinggi. By highlighting its natural landscapes, historical heritage, culinary richness, and cultural uniqueness, the event is expected to increase tourism visits and strengthen the city’s position as a leading tourism destination, ultimately contributing to the improvement of the local economy.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a crucial intervention to improve students' nutritional status through the provision of balanced meals. It aims to create a school environment that supports optimal growth and development and serves as a preventative measure against the risks of malnutrition, such as anemia and chronic energy deficiency. This study aimed to determine student satisfaction with the implementation of the MBG Program at Muhammadiyah Health Vocational School in Bireuen . This study used a quantitative descriptive method, with 60 students drawn from a stratified random sampling method ( 30 grade X students and 30 grade 1 XI students) from a total population of 145 students. Survey results indicated that the MBG Program was positively received and strongly supported by respondents. High levels of satisfaction were observed, with the majority of respondents satisfied with the quality and nutrition of the food (66.7%) and the overall implementation of the program (73.3%). The program also generated direct benefits, with 66.7% of respondents experiencing positive impacts on health and learning. However, significant gaps remain; 53.3% of respondents did not experience benefits across the social, psychological, and economic dimensions, indicating the need for more comprehensive interventions to maximize its multidimensional impact.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media and packaging on the sales performance of the Tempoyak Mak Syalu MSME in Palembang, which faces marketing challenges in the digital era and increasing competition among local culinary products. This research employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive–verificative design, involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through validity and reliability tests, t-test, F-test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results reveal that both social media and packaging significantly influence sales, both partially and simultaneously. Social media effectively expands promotional reach, enhances consumer interaction, and strengthens product image. Meanwhile, appealing and informative packaging contributes to perceived product quality and consumer purchase intentions. The discussion reinforces previous findings stating that the combination of digital marketing and packaging innovation enhances MSME competitiveness. This study concludes that integrating both strategies is essential for improving the sales of tempoyak products and provides practical implications for MSMEs in optimizing marketing strategies within the digital landscape.

Abstract

Writing is often considered a difficult skill to master, especially in language learning. One possible solution to this problem is the use of digital platforms such as Blogger. This study aims to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of using Blogger in teaching writing based on previous research. A systematic review of the literature that was conducted using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) process in several databases. the reviewed journals showed that that Blogger is an effective instructional medium for enhancing students’ writing skills, particularly in idea development, organization, coherence, and learning motivation. The platform supports a process-based writing approach by enabling drafting, revising, publishing, and interaction with an authentic audience, which fosters reflective and collaborative learning. Empirical evidence from Indonesian EFL consistently indicates notable improvements in students’ writing performance following blog-based instruction. Nevertheless, due to its limited impact on linguistic accuracy and its reliance on teacher scaffolding and students’ digital literacy, Blogger should be integrated as a complementary tool within a blended pedagogy that combines technology with explicit language instruction and systematic feedback.

Abstract

Prayer (ṣalāh) occupies a central position in Islamic religious life and represents one of the most fundamental pillars of worship. Beyond its ritual dimension, prayer contains profound spiritual meanings that contribute to the formation of ethical behavior, emotional balance, and spiritual awareness among believers. In Islamic intellectual history, scholars have extensively discussed the spiritual dimensions of prayer, particularly within the tradition of Sufism. Among these scholars, Imam Al-Ghazali is widely recognized as one of the most influential thinkers who integrated Islamic jurisprudence, theology, and mysticism into a comprehensive framework of spiritual development. This study aims to analyze the spiritual values embedded in prayer from the perspective of Al-Ghazali and to examine the relevance of these values for contemporary spiritual and psychological life. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method. Primary data were obtained from Al-Ghazali’s classical work Ihya’ Ulum al-Din, while secondary data were collected from scholarly books and peer-reviewed journal articles related to Islamic spirituality and psychology of religion. The data were analyzed using descriptive and interpretative analysis. The findings reveal that Al-Ghazali views prayer not merely as a formal religious obligation but as a comprehensive spiritual discipline aimed at purifying the soul and strengthening the relationship between humans and God. Essential spiritual values in prayer include sincerity (ikhlas), presence of heart (hudhur al-qalb), humility (khushu’), remembrance of God (dhikr), and the balance between fear and hope (khauf and raja’). The study concludes that Al-Ghazali’s teachings on prayer remain highly relevant for contemporary life, as prayer functions as a transformative spiritual practice that fosters moral character, emotional resilience, and psychological well-being.

Abstract

The development of digital marketing has encouraged the use of TikTok influencers as an emerging strategy to promote beauty products and influence consumer decisions. Glad2Glow is one of the brands adopting this approach; however, the extent to which influencer promotions can build consumer trust and shape purchase intention still requires empirical examination. This study examines how influencer credibility and brand familiarity influence consumers’ purchase intention, with brand trust as an intervening variable in the context of Glad2Glow promotions on TikTok. The research employs a quantitative design using data collected through an online survey of active TikTok users. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling to identify relationships among the constructs and examine mediation effects. The results show that influencer credibility and brand familiarity positively influence brand trust, which in turn strengthens their impact on purchase intention. These findings highlight the important role of trust in influencer-based marketing and provide insights for Glad2Glow in selecting suitable influencers and developing authentic promotional content
