Abstract

An electric wheelchairs are vital mobility aids for individuals with mobility impairments or special needs. These wheelchairs rely on electric motors powered by batteries to provide the necessary propulsion. The accuracy and reliability of battery power measurement in electric wheelchairs are crucial for maintaining balance, stability, and ensuring a safe and comfortable user experience. One critical component in electric wheelchairs is the load cell, which measures the applied load such as user weight or additional loads. Over time, load cells may experience changes in their characteristics, such as sensitivity alterations or drift, potentially affecting load measurement accuracy. Therefore, calibration of load cell loads in electric wheelchairs becomes essential. Calibration ensures that load measurements remain accurate and consistent over time by comparing the output produced by the load cell with accurately known loads, and then adjusting the scale or resetting load cell parameters to achieve accurate measurements. This research aims to analyze the impact of load cell calibration on the performance of electric wheelchair batteries. The research questions include evaluating the effects of calibration on load measurement accuracy, identifying factors influencing load cell performance, and developing effective calibration methods. The study focuses on assessing how load cell calibration influences the performance of electric wheelchairs, with particular attention to measurement accuracy and stability aspects. The objective of this research is to enhance load measurement accuracy in electric wheelchairs through proper load cell calibration. The benefits include improving safety and comfort for wheelchair users by providing accurate load measurements, ensuring wheelchair balance and stability, and reducing the risk of injury or failure. Additionally, the findings contribute to the development of better electric wheelchair technology and enhance the quality of life for users.

Abstract

This study aims to analysed the impact of information technology implementation on enhancing human resource management control and its influence on the quality of financial reports at Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Medan. The application of information technology is expected to improve efficiency and accuracy in data management, including financial and human resource data. The research adopts a quantitative approach by collecting data through surveys and interviews with staff and management at RRI Medan. The results indicate that effective use of information technology contributes positively to management control, leading to improvements in the quality of financial reporting. Therefore, the implementation of information technology can serve as a solution to enhance transparency and accuracy in financial reporting within the public sector.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based weather station using NodeMCU ESP32, BMP280 sensor, and DHT11. This weather station is designed to collect real-time temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure data, and transmit them to an online platform for further analysis. NodeMCU ESP32 is used as the main microcontroller tasked with controlling and collecting data from both sensors. The BMP280 sensor is used to measure atmospheric pressure and temperature, while the DHT11 sensor is used to measure air humidity. The collected data is sent via a Wi-Fi connection to the Blynk server for storage and analysis. Through the use of IoT technology, this weather station provides the ability to monitor weather conditions in real time and take necessary actions based on the collected data. Integration with an online platform allows remote data access, allowing users to monitor weather conditions from anywhere. Thus, this study not only illustrates the implementation of IoT technology in monitoring weather but also opens up opportunities for broader applications in environmental monitoring and resource management.

Abstract

The increasing use of electric vehicles (EVs) requires adequate and efficient charging system infrastructure. One of the main things is the charging system for electric vehicles (EV) batteries. This study aims to develop a charging system infrastructure for EVs using a DC to DC converter. This study examines the design and implementation of a charging system with a DC to DC converter to transform DC voltage from the grid to a DC voltage that meets the needs of EV batteries. This system is designed to ensure safety, efficiency, and compatibility with various types of EVs. The system is also capable of producing voltages from 12 volts to more than 60 volts, which is sufficient to charge electric vehicle batteries. Correlation analysis simulations with MATLAB and experimental testing were conducted to evaluate the performance of the charging system. The results show that this system is capable of charging EV batteries safely and efficiently. This system is also compatible with various types of EVs and can be easily integrated with the electricity grid. The development of a charging system infrastructure with a DC to DC converter is expected to support widespread EV adoption and contribute to a sustainable energy transition.

Abstract

In this modern era, the need for environmentally friendly vehicles is increasing, along with the increasing awareness of the importance of protecting the environment from pollution. One solution that is increasingly popular is the use of two-wheeled electric vehicles. These electric vehicles utilize DC motors as the main drive. In this system, controlling the speed of the DC motor is an important aspect to ensure efficient and responsive performance. This study examines the implementation of Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) as a method of controlling the speed of a DC motor in two-wheeled electric vehicles. PWM is a technique that allows control of the power received by the motor by adjusting the width of the digital signal pulse. With this method, the speed of the motor can be controlled precisely without losing significant power efficiency. This study focuses on the design and implementation of a speed control system using PWM, as well as testing the performance of the system on two-wheeled electric vehicles. The results of the study show that the use of PWM as a method of controlling the speed of a DC motor in two-wheeled electric vehicles is able to provide a fast and accurate response to the desired speed changes. This system is also proven to be energy efficient and able to reduce the heat generated by the motor, thereby extending the life of the motor. Thus, the use of PWM in the DC motor speed control system in two-wheeled electric vehicles is an effective and efficient solution to improve the performance and reliability of electric vehicles.

Abstract

In the electric power distribution network or a condition where a distribution system in the distribution of electric power experiences high power losses due to the connection point on the distribution cable to the consumer. Therefore, in this study, a calculation will be carried out between the value of the comparison of the input and output measurements between the connection points using Tap Connector with Joint Press Connector, after obtaining the measurement results, determine the calculation results for the loss of electrical power energy in rupiah units. A Tap Connector Joint Press Connector. After the measurement and calculation, the Power Loss is the result of the calculation between the input and output at the Tap Connector connection point. There is a difference in Power Loss of 134.3 Watts while at the Joint Press Connector the Power Loss Difference is 0 Watts. Power Loss Calculation Results in Rupiah Units From the results of the power loss analysis calculation, it can be seen that the power loss at the Tap Connector connection point with a difference in power loss value of 134.3 W and if calculated in rupiah units, then the loss of electrical energy in one month is Rp. 130,539.6, -. If it occurs in one year in a 24-hour time calculation, it is 130,539.6 x 12 Months = 1,566,475.2, -. The cause of power loss at the Tap Connector connection point is due to poor installation, as well as Tap Connector Equipment that is not SPLN standard and the age of the Tap Connector that has worn out

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and disseminate marketing communication strategies implemented by the small business Kerupuk Rokyati in Ulak Kerbau Baru Village, Ogan Ilir. In an era of increasingly fierce competition, marketing communications plays an important role in strengthening the market and increasing product sales position. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the marketing communication strategy implemented by Kerupuk Rokyati is still conventional. Therefore, this research recommends the use of social media and digital platforms as a more modern marketing communications strategy to expand market reach and increase brand awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of business risk management for enchance marketing performance in Harum Laundry MSMEs. The analysis was conducted on various aspects of risks such as financial, operational, marketing, and product faced by Harum Laundry MSMEs. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews. The results of the analysis identified that the biggest risk is related to finance, where reliance on personal capital can result in disruption to business operations. The research also offers solutions in controlling these risks by proposing cooperation with business partners as an anticipatory measure against possible business failures. It is hoped that the results of this study will not only provide benefits for entrepreneurs to implement risk management in their businesses, but also increase understanding of the importance of risk management in the business context.

Abstract

The Drug Stock Forecasting Application using a web-based Double Exponential Smoothing method is designed to optimize drug inventory management, particularly at Romora Drugstore. Modern computing technology plays a crucial role in supporting the operational activities of various business sectors, providing quick, precise, and accurate information. This efficiency is especially important in drugstores, where computers assist employees in managing tasks, such as drug inventory. Romora Drugstore, like many others, faces fluctuating monthly drug demands, making accurate forecasting essential to avoid stockouts or overstock situations. To address this challenge, this research proposes the Double Exponential Smoothing method as a forecasting tool. This method predicts future stock requirements based on historical data, enabling better management of drug supplies. By analysed past sales transactions, the application can forecast future demand, helping the drugstore ensure optimal stock levels, prevent financial losses, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Abstract

Financial literacy is the knowledge, understanding, skills, and beliefs of humans who are able to manage finances well, optimally, and wisely. With this understanding of financial literacy, it is hoped that students will be able to consume something that is a need, not a desire, or consume wisely. This research method uses literature studies by searching from various sources such as books, articles that have related discussions. This study found that understanding financial literacy can be a good and wise decision-making in student consumer behavior. This economic literacy affects consumer behavior experienced by students. Therefore, good knowledge and understanding of financial literature are needed, so that students become wiser and more rational in consuming.
