Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skill is one of the abilities that students must have in the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. This requirement is a form of effort made to improve the qulity of education in Indonesia. Given that the results of the PISA conducted in 2018, Indonesia was ranked 74 out of 76 countries and received an average score, especially mathematics, namely 379. For this reason, higher order thinking skill especially mathematics, must be improved so that the quality of education in Indonesia can increase. The purpose of this research is to analyze the need for project based learning and problem based learning methods to improve higher order thinking skill. The research subject were the 8 grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta. The methode used is descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques using interview, observation, and questionnaires. This research found that it is necessary to apply project based learning and problem based learning methods to help students improve their higher order thinking skill

Abstract

Introduction: Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura is an abnormality of decreased platelets caused by the destruction of platelets which is mediated by the immune and usually occurs in young adult women. The clinical manifestations are mild bleeding in the skin, such as petechiae, ecchymosis, and intracranial hemorrhage. IPF could help clinicians in diagnosing ITP. Case report: It had been reported a 22-year-old female patient who has diagnosed with thrombocytopenia et causa Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura and moderate anemia et causa acute bleeding and treated with corticosteroid. Conclusion: IPF could help in diagnosing ITP.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students' numerical abilities in accounting lectures through the lecture implementation process and student final test results in introductory accounting courses, intermediate financial accounting, intermediate finance 1, intermediate financial accounting 2 and advanced financial accounting. Numerical ability is a basic ability that students must haveFkip Untan Economics Education Study Program. Researchers stated the need for repairs and improvements by lecturers regarding financial accounting lectures, so that students have numerical skills when carrying out the learning process at school or in non-educational fields and maximize the lecture process and students of economics education study programs still experience difficulties in completing calculations of accounting questions. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method through experiments on students of the Economics Education Study Program, FKIP Untan. The research sample included all regular economics study program students. The data collection tools are (a) tests (numerical ability questions) and (b) observation guidelines (financial accounting learning outcomes).

Abstract

Reading is the most important activity in any language class, not only as a source of information and a pleasurable activity, but as a means of consolidating and extending one’s knowledge of the language and its related aspects such as culture, civilization, and history. The method used in the research was descriptive qualitative research. The focuses of the research were to find out the students’ ability gaining information and knowledge from the text that they have read by using Extensive Reading Strategy, the students’ level ability in reading comprehension and factors that affected the students’ ability. The purposes of the research were to describe the students’ ability and the students’ level in Reading Comprehension by using Extensive Reading Strategy and factors that affected the students‟ ability. The total number of the sample was 20 students. The instrument used to get the data was a test and interview. Based on the results, it was found that 14 students who achieved good score, meanwhile 6 students who achieved a low score in reading comprehension. The most factors that affect the students’ ability in reading comprehension was caused by lack of grammar, lack of vocabulary, lack of reading and also because of students’ background knowledge. Then, the students got the difficulty when they faced new reading texts/new topics. Finally, based on the findings, it is concluded that students of the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Lahewa were able to gain information and knowledge from the text that they have read by using Extensive Reading Strategy.

Abstract

The world of construction is a world full of limitations, from limited time to complete a project to limited human resources to complete the project. Therefore, balance is needed to maintain physical and mental health stability. One way to maintain mental health is to maintain a work-life balance. PT Total Bangun Persada, Tbk is a construction company that focusesfocusingand customers. To achieve this, a fairly high productivity rate is needed. This study aims to help companies increase productivity by using work-life balance analysis, which has three indicators: time balance, involvement balance, and satisfaction balance. This study recommends implementing policies in projects with the aim of increasing the level of work-life balance, which will impact employee productivity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the independent curriculum in intracurricular learning and the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile. Teachers and educators at SMA Negeri 10 still need understanding in understanding and applying the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile (P5) in phase E (grade X). The problems faced by SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak include educators still needing an understanding of Learning Outcomes (CP) and the five dimensions of the Pancasila profile (P5) so that the implementation of the independent curriculum produces competent student outcomes in dealing with change and in accordance with the Pancasila character. The efforts of schools and educators in solving these problems are upgrading knowledge and experience obtained face-to-face and virtually. The method used is descriptive qualitative type, through data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The findings of this study are that teachers need understanding in analyzing the difficulties and needs of each student to implement an independent curriculum that refers to Learning Outcomes (CP) and the five dimensions of the Pancasila profile (P5). This is because SMA Negeri 10 has limited time which is divided into two learning session schedules. Then the P5 activities have not been maximally implemented because the school building is still under construction. So that P5 activities cannot be optimal. Finally, skills and honing soft skills are carried out through direct training or through devices (internet) such as Zoom, YouTube, etc.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the learning system and adjustments in implementation of the independent curriculum at SMPN 2 Pontianak, in preparation for the implementation of the independent curriculum by SMPN 2 Pontianak teachers who have been given directions from the school so that teachers follow the driving teacher program before implementing the independent curriculum in order to support teacher readiness. in implementing the independent curriculum learning system. In the implementation of learning, teachers find obstacles to the use of technology in the learning process, including the method of solving problems in textbooks that are still conventional and less varied which can cause student boredom, besides that the use of the independent learning platform has not been used optimally by teachers, even though there are many things that can be used to support learning. The qualitative research method is a descriptive approach through observation, interview and documentation techniques in obtaining data about the independent curriculum learning system at SMPN 2 Pontianak and the obstacles and teachers' efforts to overcome these obstacles. The results of this study are the learning system at SMPN 2 Pontianak with 70% regular or routine learning and 30% project activities.The thing that has the most influence on the independent curriculum is the learning schedule. Then in learning there is still minimal use of technology, the completion of questions in textbooks is still less varied, there is still a lack of literacy for learning through the independent learning platform, finally, on teacher competence which is still low and needs to be improved based on information from the vice principal of SMPN 2 Pontianak.

Abstract

Competition in the business world, especially in the increasingly difficult printing world, requires developers to find strategies to increase orders for printed pr. Clean and healthy living behavior is a behavior that must be practiced by each individual with his own awareness to improve his health and play an active role in realizing a healthy environment. PHBS must be applied in every content of human life anytime and anywhere.Purpose: This study aims to determine the overview of PHBS implementation for students at Putri Sion Simpang Selayang Private Elementary School, Medan Tuntungan District in 2022. The technique used in this study was total sampling. Total sampling is a sampling technique, where the number of samples is equal to the total population of 70 respondents.Results: Based on the results of a study with a sample of 70 respondents regarding the description of the implementation of clean and healthy living behavior at SD Puteri Sion Simpang Hose, Medan Tuntungan District in 2022, it can be concluded: That the implementation of PHBS in the good category was obtained by 39 respondents (55%), and the sufficient category was obtained by 31 respondents (45%). Private Elementary School students are expected to realize the importance of PHBS in the school environment and become role models for other students and actively carry out PHBS activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Fed's profit and interest rate management on foreign investment behavior and its impact on the return of banking subsector stocks on the IDX. The type of research used is quantitative research, which is carried out to test research hypotheses through the stages of data collection, data processing, data analysis and statistical hypothesis testing. Quantitative research uses a causality design. The results of this research state that profit management does not have a significant effect on foreign investment behavior in the banking industry in 2018 – 2022, but the fed interest rate does not have a significant effect on foreign investment behavior in the banking industry in 2018 – 2022, profit management does not have a significant effect on stock returns in Banking in 2018 - 2022, the Fed'sinterest rate has a positive and significant effect on stock returns in Banking in 2018 - 2022, fotrusted investment behavior has a positive and significant effect on stock returns in the Banking in 2018 – 2022, profit management does not have a significant effect on stock returns through the mediation of foreign investment behavior in the Banking in 2018 – 2022 and the Fed's interest rate does not have a significant effect on stock returns through mediation foreign investment behavior in Banking in 2018 - 2022.

Abstract

The rite of foot washing is a rite that has been practiced in the Bible for a long time, and has been known since the Old Testament. However, the meaning contained in it develops according to its context. If in the Old Testament washing feet shows a sense of courtesy and hospitality towards guests, then in the New Testament washing feet shows a moral example of humility and love. for that it is necessary to excavate contextually and relevantly the meaning of foot washing in the contemporary context. And seeing how Jesus used the rite of foot washing in reconciling the conflict that occurred between Himself and His disciples, in the tension of Judas' betrayal and the quarrel of the disciples who was the greatest among them? And how Jesus used foot washing, when Jesus experienced an internal conflict in himself before the suffering of His cross.
