Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of exchange rates (exchange rates) on stock prices in several countries. The results of this study resulted in several different conclusions regarding the variables that previously influenced other variables. Based on this, research was carried out on the causal relationship between the exchange rate of the rupiah against the U.S. dollar and the ICC, which was intended to determine whether there was a relationship between the exchange rate variable and the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) in Indonesia as an object. Research and find out which variable first affects the change in a variable as a form of the pattern of causality relationship with the population for the variable. Granger Causality is the model used in this study, and it is intended because it is used to test cause-and-effect relationships or causality relationships in which the clarity of the relationship between variables is not yet known. But before entering the Granger Causality stage, a Unit Root Test (URT) test was carried out to determine the stationarity of the data. From the results of the Unit Root Test, it was found that the exchange rate variable, as well as the ICI, were stationary, so the next step was to carry out the Granger The causality test, which obtained the results, was also used as a conclusion that the exchange rate of the rupiah against the U.S. dollar first affected changes in the ICC.

Abstract

Educational technology is an ever-evolving discipline. The development of educational technology is based on the emergence of problems in the teaching and learning process. During the Covid – 19 pandemic, the government made policies related to the teaching and learning process in Higher Education. Where the face-to-face teaching and learning process was abolished and changed to online. The online teaching and learning process aims to break the chain of the spread of the Covid - 19 outbreak. The online teaching and learning process found several problems such as material not fully conveyed and understood, limited quotas for attending lectures online and network access constraints for small areas. These problems trigger the poor learning outcomes obtained. Therefore it is necessary to evaluate the learning process online on student learning outcomes. With the aim of improving the quality of the quality of learning outcomes and also adjustments to learning outcomes. The results of the research testing conducted found that there was no effect of online learning on student learning outcomes. Where the quality of learning outcomes obtained by students is the same as the quality when learning is done face to face.

Abstract

Communication is a common form of human interaction that occurs on a daily basis. Communication has meaning in the science of signs as well. Advertising is an example of a sign. Greenfield’s Farming Philosophy is an audiovisual advertisement that extends for four minutes and fifty-five seconds. This research utilizes a qualitative approach based on Saussure's semiotics theory, as cited by Chandler [1], to examine the meanings of signs in advertisements using Barthes' [2] theory of meaning and Wierzbicka's (1996) theory of color. This research revealed three verbal signs and three visual signs. Each sign has a denotative and connotative meaning.

Six article selection criteria were established before the selection process, ensuring that only the most relevant and reliable sources were included. For instance, origami was found to be effective in improving students' math and geometry skills. Through the folding of paper, students were able to develop their spatial reasoning, geometric thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, origami was found to enhance students' fine motor skills, which are essential for various activities, such as writing and drawing. Origami also had a positive impact on students' psychology and emotion, as it provided a calming and relaxing activity that can help students reduce stress and anxiety.
