Abstract

Lead is the fifth most dangerous heavy metal contained in industrial wastewater and its presence need to be handled properly. Biosorption is one method that can be used to reduce heavy metal levels ions contained in the wastewater. Sijontiak peel is used as a biosorbent to absorb water lead metal because it has the potential as a biosorbent and its use is still minimal in society. Sijontiak skin uses NaOH activator as an absorber for Pb+2 metal ions batch method. In this study, we determine the effect of contact time on metals lead absorption. The results showed that the optimum adsorption time for Pb2+ metal ions was at a contact time of 90 minutes with an absorption capacity of 17.5375 mg/g.

Abstract

Systemic infection of COVID-19 significantly impacts the hematopoietic system and hemostasis. Blood coagulation disorders are common in hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Elevated D-dimer levels have been consistently reported. Several studies have shown differences in the degree of elevation of liver test markers in COVID-19 patients, especially reporting levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and CRP. Aim of this study. To determine the efficacy of of oral cyclus probiotics, the combination of cyclus probiotics and propolis, honey, white turmeric, mint leaf extracts on patients in the COVID 19 isolation room with D-dimer, CRP, SGOT, and SGPT parameters. Monitoring was carried out only for up 7-10 days, although previously it was designed for 14 days, because of the policy to shorter the time of in patient treatment, this was related to moderate degree of Covid19 patients. Method. This study is a randomized control trial study with 26 samples as the manage group and 27 as the control group; was conducted at dr. R.D. Kandou General Hospital in December 2021-March 2022. Results. There was an improvement in D-dimer in COVID-19 patients in the manage group after administration of oral cyclus probiotics and nasopharyng spray of combination of cyclus probiotics, propolis, honey, white turmeric and mint leaf extracts, with a p value of 0.026. This probiotics studied had a significant effect on reducing D-dimer in Covid-19 patients. However, did not show a significant effect on CRP, SGOT and SGPT biomarkers. Maybe, the treatment time less than two weeks; as usually it will take two weeks to recover.

Abstract

The REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) method is developed in ergonomics. It can be used quickly to assess the working position or posture of an operator's neck, back, arms, wrists and legs. In accordance with the theory, namely REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) is intended to analyze body shape and proper work position, using the REBA Map method you will see muscle complaints so that the company can control and maintain all operators, both in warehouses and production, so that The company can maintain the safety and health of its workers. Based on the results of observations made, it can be concluded that according to REBA calculations it was found that workers generally have a high level of risk, the highest value is 10, but there is 1 worker who has a low risk level with a value of 1.

The sample of the research was 72 women who had not participated in family planning at the Bangunsari Health Center in Madiun district. Sampling using random sampling, research design using cross sectional. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire. Data analysis using frequency distribution. The results of the study identified that the majority of respondents had a neutral attitude about the chosen effective contraceptive method, namely 35 respondents (48%) and a small number of respondents had a negative attitude about the selected effective contraceptive method, namely 13 respondents (18%). he conclusion of the study is that the majority of respondents have a neutral attitude about the effective contraceptive methods they have chosen. The population of class VIII students of SMP GIBS was 20 people. This type of research was a quantitative study using a method of two classes: class VIII Boys and class VIII Girls. Students sampled in this study filled out 20 statements in a questionnaire the teacher gave. The sample used was VIII Girls class students. As many as 16 students were present at the meeting. Students who filled out the previous questionnaire had studied as many as three sessions at the last meeting, with the topic Introduction to Force, Newton’s Laws, and Work. After the previous meeting, the teacher gave the students a questionnaire. The questionnaire is a tool to measure students’ interest in learning. The results showed that overall 71.75% of students were interested in the teaching given by the science teacher. This means that it can be concluded that most of the students in class VIII Girls SMP Global Islamic Boarding School feel happy with the implementation of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) in style.

Abstract

Although vocational content has been incorporated into the curriculum, more is needed to cater to the needs of nursing students to view the fundamental act of communication when English is essential. The insufficiency might be catered by providing videos/ video clips available in such a global online video sharing and social media platform as Youtube or a library of free videos made by and for teachers and students everywhere as Nextvista.org. Exposing students to authentic language use through video's multimodal characteristics has made it a popular instructional medium. According to Krashen's Input Theory, students can learn best by comprehending messages or getting comprehensible information through authentic material like video clips. Involving fifteen students, this action research took the cyclical model of Kemmis and McTaggart to practice video-viewing techniques to improve their oral performance. Multiple methods of data collection (scoring rubric, collaborator's observation checklist, and semi-structured interview) were employed to portray the extent of oral performance improvement by practicing the techniques. The findings signified that the student's oral performance is enhanced by using the video-viewing technique, and they also feel optimistic about it. They were able to learn in a meaningful way because of the video's real-world setting. It is further advised that English teachers, particularly those who teach technical and vocational schools, employ such contextual techniques and media to give pupils a better learning experience.
