Abstract

A company needs to invest as a form of increasing the growth of the company. The capital structure in this activity is considered very important because it relates to the company's strategy in financing their investment activities so that it shows growth in company performance. This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure on the performance of transportation, logistics, and warehousing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. Capital structure as an independent variable is measured based on the total debt to equity ratio (DER). The use of economic value added (EVA) and market value added (MVA) as the dependent variable to describe the firm performance. Method used in this study is panel data regression considering the characteristics of the data which are time series and cross sectional which were carried out in 21 transportation, logistics, and warehousing companies in Indonesia. The results found in this study indicate that the total debt to equity ratio affect negatively on Economic Value Added (EVA). Meanwhile, the total debt to equity ratio has no effect on Market Value Added (MVA).

Abstract

The position of Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves during the last 5 years had been fluctuated, causing disruption to the Indonesian economy. This study was conducted to determine the effect of exports, imports, and inflation on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves. This study uses a causal relationship research design with a quantitative approach. The sample of this research is monthly data from Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves, exports, imports, and inflation for the 2016-2020 period. The data used is secondary data in the form of time series obtained from the BI and BPS websites. The analysis tool uses multiple linear regression analysis, with SPSS version 20. The results show that partially exports have a significant positive effect, imports have no effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves, inflation has a significant negative effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves. Simultaneously, exports, imports, and inflation have a significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves.

Abstract

Terrorism is an extraordinary crime that has crossed national borders and is an extraordinary crime. In cases of eradicating criminal acts of terrorism, Special Detachment 88 sometimes does not hesitate to kill someone suspected of being a terrorist. This act clearly violated human rights and violated the rights of the suspect regulated in the Criminal Code. This study aims to determine the rights of families of perpetrators of terrorism in accordance with the principle of protecting human rights, as well as to determine the effectiveness of pretrial institutions in providing protection to families of perpetrators of terrorism. The research method used is descriptive analytical normative with a juridical research specification approach. The results of the study illustrate that legal aid is an important instrument in the criminal justice system because it is an embodiment of the protection of human rights. In Law no. 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights guarantees that everyone has the right to freedom from enforced disappearance and loss of life. It was concluded that the Human Rights Law to protect the rights of the families of terrorist suspects and pretrial has not been effective enough to protect the rights of suspects, defendants or families of suspected perpetrators of terrorism in carrying out law enforcement efforts during investigations. disappearances, arrests and detentions and beatings leading to death.

Abstract

Community service with the theme of assisting community groups through environmental health education aims to support efforts to realize environmental health in the community in Sanca Village, Ciater District, Subang Regency. Environmental health is an important aspect of environmental management because with good environmental management, environmental health will be achieved. Such conditions can be achieved if there is good behavior from the community related to environmental health. That's why environmental health education is needed for the community, both for children and adults. Things that need to be educated include household waste management, namely regarding sorting and disposing of waste, hygiene behavior. disposal of dirty water/waste, and cleanliness of the environment around the house, so that people can implement clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) which include environmentally friendly behavior and hygienic behavior In connection with the PKM activities organized by FISIP UNPAS, the community that is used as a partner in implementing the PKM is the community of Sanca Village, Ciater District, Subang Regency. The partner is the PKK Group in Sanca Village, Ciater District, Subang Regency. The main problem experienced by partners is that there are still some people who hold old habits in their health behavior that pay little attention to environmental health. The method used in implementing the activity is locality development, (local community development method), with a focus on environmental health assessment. The technique used to support the realization of the activity is the transect walk. The results of the assessment implementation are used as a basis for the activity implementing team in determining action plans, namely activities that can be carried out in the area by the activity implementing team. As for the action plan for the activity implementing team is to provide assistance regarding environmental health education for the community through environmental health counseling and providing assistance with environmental cleaning tools.

Abstract

This research aims to show the effect of the Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return On Equity, and Net Profit Margin on the Price Earning Ratio. The data used are secondary data from the annual financial statements of the construction and building sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2014-2018. This study uses purposive sampling with 10 (ten) companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange used as samples. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis, tested using SPSS 20. The results of the research show that Return On Equity has a significant influence on Price Earning Ratio, Current Ratio has no significant influence on Price Earning Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio has no significant influence on Price Earning Ratio, Net Profit Margin has no significant influence on Price Earning Ratio.

Abstract

The curriculum is one of the most important factors in the implementation of education, because the curriculum is the benchmark that will be conveyed by the teacher to his students. Therefore, the curriculum must also be adapted to the needs of students, so that the curriculum must go through a development phase, especially in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum. From the development of the PAI curriculum, a foundation is needed so that the curriculum can be applied, namely with the principles of the PAI curriculum. This study aims to review the principles of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum development which are the main foundation in curriculum development.

Abstract

The research was conducted regarding the mediating role of employee loyalty in work-life balance and financial compensation for employee performance at PT. BPR Regional Bank Bangli (Perseroda). Sampling technique through saturated sampling. The sample used is 71 employees at PT. BPR Regional Bank Bangli (Perseroda). The type of data is quantitative data with data sourced from primary sources. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that Work-Life Balance, financial compensation, and employee loyalty significantly positively affect employee performance. Work-Life Balance does not affect employee loyalty, financial compensation has a significant positive effect on employee loyalty, employee loyalty has not been able to mediate the impact of Work-Life Balance on employee performance, and employee loyalty can mediate financial compensation on employee performance.

Abstract

The implementation of efficient educational facilities and infrastructure is necessary for the implementation of quality education. Principals play an important role in implementing effective management, which helps improve the educational services provided in schools. The purpose of this study was to analyze the managerial application of prophetic school principals in the implementation of educational facilities and infrastructure in order to improve learning services at Annihayah Middle School, located in Rawamerta District, Karawang Regency. The approach taken by the implementing team consists of providing direction, training, mentoring, and evaluating the client's progress. The conclusion that the Prophet's Principal Managerial Implementation training in the Management of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure was successful can be drawn from the evaluation findings conducted by the community service team. The post test score after the training was held was 91.32%, much higher than the pre test score which was 63.12%. However, due to the limited time available, this training was not without drawbacks, especially in terms of the participants' level of understanding of the subject matter.

Abstract

Public services in the legal aid field for underprivileged people facing legal problems is a constitutional obligation based on the 1945 Constitution. Through legal instruments and/or regulations within the scope of the linkages of laws and regulations, it is perceived that they are complete, significantly as imperatively regulated in Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services and Law Number 16 of 2011 concerning Legal Aid. Regulatory arrangements related to public services in the legal aid field are clearly regulated within the scope of the authority of the Menkumham through National Legal Development Agency (BPHN). Procedures for filing legal aid. Institutions that are given the authority to provide legal assistance on condition that they have been accredited by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, criteria that have the right to obtain legal aid services. In this study, researchers have taken a normative juridical approach by describing procedures for providing public services in the field of legal aid and the instruments and/or regulations that cover them or regulate them for the purpose of fulfilling the principles of legal certainty, legal justice and legal benefits for underprivileged people who face law problem.

Abstract

This study investigated in eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 35 Medan for students' and teacher's perceptions of Role-Play speaking classroom activities. Using questionnaires, and interviews, data was collected from 31 students and an English teacher. The method used Mix Method Research (MMR) to calculated the data. The results indicated that 86.5% of students believed that role-playing was effective for enhancing speaking abilities and from the teacher's perception stated role-play was good to be used in to learning for speaking activity. The study discovered that role-playing was effective at encouraging students to improve their speaking skills. The use of images on paper as a role-play media was also found to be simple to comprehend and to facilitate classroom activities. Overall, this research discovered that role-play was beneficial and effective for improving students' speaking abilities.
