Data collection techniques used in the study were observation, documentation and questionnaires using a Likert scale. The population in this study were 233 employees of the Civil Service Police Unit of Labuhanbatu Regency. The sample was taken using the Slovin formula, which was determined with a significance level of 0.05, so the sample size in this study was 147 people. The multiple linear regression equation from this research is: Y=0.914+01875X1+0.367X2+0.516X3. The value of B on safety (B1) is 0.187. The health value (B2) is 0.367. The work accident value (B3) is 0.516 and the constant value (a) is 0.914. The description of the multiple linear regression equation shows that the variables of safety (X1), health (X2), and work accidents (X3) have a positive direction coefficient on work productivity. The t-count value of 3.006 > t-table of 1.655 proves that the safety variable (X1) has a positive effect on the work productivity variable (Y). Then the significant value is 0.003 <0.05, which means the safety variable (X1) has a significant effect on the work productivity variable (Y). Based on the results of the regression analysis, the t-count value was 5.090 > t-table 1.655, which means that the health variable (X2) has a positive effect on the work productivity variable (Y). Then the significant value is 0.00o <0.05, which means that the health variable (X2) has a significant effect on the work productivity variable (Y). Furthermore, the results of the regression analysis obtained the t arithmetic value of 6.316 > t table 1.655 proving that the work accident variable (X3) has a positive effect on the work productivity variable (Y). Then the significant value is 0.000 <0.05 indicating that the work accident variable (X3) has a significant effect on the work productivity variable (Y). The value of Fcount is 104,734 > Ftable 2.67 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that safety (X1), health (X2), and work accidents (X3) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on work productivity (Y).

Abstract

This study is a review of Heru Kurnianto Tjahjono's article, Olivia Fach runnisa, Majang Palupina, Majang runnisa, in the International Journal of Business Excellence journal, Vol.17,No.3, 2019 with the title Configuration of organizational justice and social capital: their impact on satisfaction and commitment. This study argues that the limited information of individuals in responding to organizational policies forces them to judge fairness subjectively. Referring to social identity theory, this study proposes social capital as a key factor in explaining individual behavior in evaluating distributive justice and procedural justice. Individuals with high social capital tend to be group-oriented with different principles of justice. Using an experimental design, this study addresses the controversy over the impact of distributive and procedural justice on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Substantial findings in this study explain that contextual aspects, such as distributive justice, procedural justice, and social capital, play a major role in elaborating organizational satisfaction and commitment.

Abstract

Moodle is an open-source Learning Management System (LMS) that is gaining popularity in STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo's educational institution. While the education department has accepted Moodle, successfully implementing it for post-graduate students at STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo would then require student acceptance. However, the LMS is the ideal approach for increasing students’ commitment to educational content such as sustainability. The findings indicated that students’ desire to use LMS SIDALACE, Sidoarjo Learning Space, had a beneficial effect on learning as sustainability engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, students perceived closeness, peer references, and subjective well-being are positively associated with perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, which influences students’ intentions to use, which in turn influences LMS usage for student engagement during Covid-19.

Abstract

Forecasting is an activity to predict future events by using and considering data from the past. Forecasting is an important tool in effective and efficient planning. So that demand forecasting can be predicted and the amount of inventory can be determined in order to anticipate the number of varied and fluctuating demand. In order to obtain good forecast results, a forecasting method is used that can predict seasonal data. This study aims to determine the best forecasting model using ARIMA and exponential smoothing methods and to compare the forecasting results with the two methods in order to obtain the best method. Data on the number of requests for cars PT. Suzuki Indomobil Motor 2017 – 2019 is data that contains seasonal patterns so that ARIMA and Holt-Winters exponential smoothing can be used. Data obtained by means of documentation with secondary data collection and literature study. The results show that PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor is more appropriate to use the Holt-Winters Additive exponential smoothing method because the resulting error rate is smaller.

Abstract

Research on entrepreneurial orientation towards business performance has become a broad finding in various business fields. This study shows the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and social capital on entrepreneurial success. The research was conducted on MSMEs with the object of research being MSME owners with a sample of 600 food MSME owners in West Sumatra. The research was conducted using a quantitative method using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) application. The research location is West Sumatra, Indonesia. The results of the study reveal that entrepreneurial orientation directly and positively related to entrepreneurial success, entrepreneurial orientation also positively and significantly related to social capital, and social capital has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial success. Social capital as a mediating variable has a partial role in the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial success. Social capital as a mediating variable strengthens the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial success. These results indicate that entrepreneurial orientation does not only look at business performance that has been seen so far in large and medium-sized companies and in this study looks at MSMEs, which have many limitations in measuring their dimensions because of the difficulty of getting reports on MSMEs. The limitations of research in measuring social capital need to be done qualitatively by involving other dimensions and it is necessary to measure the entrepreneurial orientation of SMEs whether it is appropriate to use 5 dimensions.
