Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has changed the educational landscape, encouraging the transformation of the role of teachers into learning facilitators in the digital era. This research aims to explore this transformation phenomenon by exploring shifts in learning paradigms, identifying challenges faced by teachers, evaluating strategies for solving them, and analyzing their impact on student learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach, by collecting data, including in-depth interviews with teachers who actively use technology in learning and direct observation in classes that apply a technology-based approach. The research results show that the transformation of the teacher's role involves a shift in focus from a teacher-centered learning model to a more student-oriented approach, where the teacher acts as a learning facilitator who encourages active student involvement and collaboration. Challenges such as lack of digital skills and gaps in technology access among students are major barriers to adopting these new roles. However, resolution strategies such as training and professional development, collaboration with colleagues, and differentiation of learning have proven effective in overcoming these challenges. The impacts of this transformation include increased student engagement, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration in digital learning. In conclusion, the transformation of teachers as learning facilitators in the digital era is a complex process that requires in-depth understanding, appropriate strategies, and ongoing support to achieve optimal learning outcomes in an ever-evolving context.

Abstract

The mental health of students is one of the things that schools need to pay attention to. If mental disorders that arise in students cannot be intervened properly, it will have a negative impact on many aspects. Starting from the emergence of behavior that is not in accordance with school rules, decreased motivation to learn, difficulties in adapting to the environment so that student learning outcomes are not fulfilled at school. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the various efforts that can be made by schools and Counseling Guidance Teachers to prevent mental health disorders from occurring in students at school. This research was conducted using a type of qualitative research, literature study method. The results of the study show that schools can help maintain students' mental health through programs from guidance and counseling services provided by counseling teachers at schools. These services are in the form of information services and system support. Information services refer to literacy activities regarding mental health in schools while system support takes the form of forming peer counselors and self-care programs. These various efforts can be given to students who are at the junior high school to high school levels.

Abstract

Background. Lecturer development is one of the right strategies in improving the quality of higher education. Purpose. However, evaluating the effectiveness of lecturer development programs is still an important concern in the context of higher education management to ensure their success and relevance. Method. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of lecturer development programs in the context of higher education management, with a focus on achieving goals, participant satisfaction, and its impact on lecturer performance. A mixed approach was used in this research, with a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis. Data was collected through surveys with lecturers participating in the development program and in-depth interviews with development staff and related lecturers.   Results. The results of the analysis show that the majority of lecturers participating in the development program felt that the program was effective in improving their competence. However, there was variation in levels of satisfaction and perceived effectiveness between participants. Additionally, the impact of development programs on lecturer performance also varies, with some lecturers reporting significant improvements while others do not. Thorough evaluation of faculty development programs is critical to ensuring effective investment in higher education resources. Although most lecturers found the program useful, there were challenges in maintaining the program's consistency and relevance. Conclusion. Therefore, continuous improvement in the design, implementation and evaluation of lecturer development programs is needed to support continuous improvement in the quality of higher education. Hopefully this research can become a reference for future researchers in conducting research related to this field of research.

Abstract

This phenomenon poses a serious threat to farmers in the region as frost can damage crops and harm yields. In this research, a frost detection system is designed to identify and know the presence of frost on agriculture in real-time. The results of on-site testing show that the system detects "Alert" conditions, then sends notifications and alerts to the website, when the output value of the DHT22 sensor shows the air temperature is 1°C, the air humidity is 91%, the dew point temperature is 0°C, the anemometer sensor output value shows the wind speed is 5.12 m/s, and the wind vane direction sensor output value shows the wind direction at 331°.Keywords: frost, agriculture, monitoring system, dieng

Abstract

This research explores the impact of leadership style, employee motivation, and organizational culture on job performance in start-up companies. The study adopts a quantitative research design, collecting data from employees in various start-ups through a cross-sectional survey method. Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and moderation analysis are employed to analyze the data. The results indicate that transformational leadership, intrinsic motivation, and a positive organizational culture significantly enhance job performance. Transactional leadership and extrinsic motivation also contribute positively but to a lesser extent. Organizational culture and employee motivation are identified as crucial moderators, amplifying the effects of leadership styles on job performance. These findings underscore the importance of effective leadership, motivational factors, and a supportive organizational culture in driving job performance within start-up environments.
