Abstract

Terrorism is a complex problem that requires serious handling from the security forces. In relation to this statement, lately acts of terrorism have become more and more common because they are caused by the subtle notions that develop in the midst of society so that they are not detected by the security forces, in this case members of the Police. In order to anticipate acts of terrorism as early as possible, the Indonesian National Police actually has officers who can be empowered, namely Bhayangkara for Community Security and Order or Bhabinkamtibmas. This Bhabinkamtibmas officer can maximize his function in preventing and eradicating terrorism. Therefore, in this study, the process of appointing Bhabinkamtibmas officers and also maximizing their role in the prevention and eradication of terrorism will be analyzed further in order to provide an overview of alternatives for preventing and eradicating terrorism in the community.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Labuhanbatu Regency, with the aim of analyzing the influence of individual personality, ability, commitment and work facilities on employee performance, either simultaneously or partially. The results of the study indicate that partially and simultaneously, all independent variables have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, this can be proven by the t test and F test. The results of the t test can be described as follows, the individual personality variable (X1) has a tcount value (3.59) > ttable (1.66) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. While the significant value is smaller than the probability value of 0.05 or a significant value of 0.001 <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that the individual personality variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Ability (X2) has a value of tcount (4.08) > ttable (1.66) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. While the significant value is smaller than the probability of 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that the ability (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Commitment (X3) has a value of tcount (6.56) > ttable (1.66) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, while the significant value is less than the probability of 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that commitment (X3) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work facilities (X4) have a value of tcount (9.30) > ttable (1.66) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, while the significant value is less than the probability of 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that work facilities (X4) have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The value of Fcount is 148.39 > Ftable 2.47 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. From these results, it can be concluded that individual personality, ability, commitment and work facilities simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

The sample consisted of 24 athletes who were given treatment for 16 meetings. The instrument used the archery scoring test at a distance of 40m. The test for normality was done using skolmogorov smirnov and the homogeneity test with levene test at the significance level of 5% (p> 0.05). Hypothesis testing was performed using paired samples t-test. The results indicated that (a) there is an effect of dumbell thera band exercise on the accuracy of archery athletes, (b) there is an effect of bow training on the accuracy of archery athletes, and (c) there is a difference in the influence between the exercises dumbell thera band and bow training in increasing the accuracy of archery athletes, where dumbell thera band exercise has a greater effect in improving archery accuracy.

Abstract

Apart from being a trade commodity and cultural driver, textile is always mentioned as something valuable in Alam Melayu. Some Malay manuscripts such as Sullalatus Salatin (Ahmad, 2003), Tawarikh Raja-Raja Melaka dan Pahang, Tuhfat An-nafis (Haji & Ahmad, 1997) and Hikayat Siak, mentioned that the textile acts as the symbol given when facing someone higher, a sign of friendship between kingdoms, proposing to a king's daughter and the cancellation of a king. Textiles in Alam Melayu are found in various types and forms, the function of the textile and its labels. Using the historical method in reconstructing historical events, this article with the theme of social history states that textile and the art of embroidery among Malay women have been fused in people's lives since the past. Relations with the outside world such as China, India, Arabia and Europe, affect various types and forms, functions of textiles and their names.
