Abstract

This study examines the role of educators as agents of change, particularly in the context of adult education. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study explores the theoretical underpinnings and practical implementation of educators as catalysts for societal transformation. The findings of this study highlight that educators have a critical role in shaping individuals and societies. As agents of change, they not only impart knowledge but also foster critical thinking, skills, and a lifelong love of learning. This study underscores the importance of educators’ professional development, with emphasis on the need for ongoing training and support, particularly to equip them with the competencies needed to navigate the complexities of modern education. This study also examines the challenges educators face in fulfilling their role as agents of change, including limited resources, varying levels of learner engagement, and rapid technological advances. To address these challenges, strategies such as fostering collaborative partnerships, leveraging technology, and promoting learner-centered approaches are needed.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of Islamic education teachers in forming moral values ​​in students. In the educational context, teachers not only function as transmitters of material, but also as role models and mentors who have a big responsibility in developing student character. PAI teachers also have a multifunctional role as educators, models or role models, facilitators, motivators, evaluators, teachers, mentors, and trainer. They must create a dynamic-constructive learning environment, analyze the weaknesses of the material and students, and provide moral encouragement for students to develop holistically. Through an Islamic education approach, teachers can apply effective methods to instill moral values, such as honesty, responsibility and mutual respect. This research uses qualitative methods with interviews and observations. The results show that positive interactions between teachers and students, as well as the application of Islamic values ​​in learning activities, contribute significantly to strengthening students' morale. It was also found that the involvement of parents and the community in the educational process increases the effectiveness of the formation of moral values. The conclusions of this research emphasize the important role of teachers in creating a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also moral and ethical.

Abstract

Data terbaru memperlihatkan masih tingginya angka anak putus sekolah di Indonesia, dengan perkiraan mencapai sekitar 3,7 juta anak pada tahun 2021. Persoalan ini membuktikan masih banyaknya anak yang terpinggirkan dari akses pendidikan yang layak. Wakaf memiliki potensi besar dalam mengurangi angka putus sekolah dan memberikan harapan baru bagi anak-anak yang kurang beruntung. Lewat wakaf, kita bisa mengubah kehidupan anak-anak tersebut menjadi lebih baik dan memberikan akses pendidikan yang berkualitas kepada mereka. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendayagunaan wakaf tunai di bidang pendidikan Dalam pengelolaan pendidikan pasca-sekolah menengah, terdapat banyak peluang untuk meningkatkan otonomi lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Di Indonesia, wakaf uang dapat meningkatkan standar pendidikan tinggi dan memberikan lebih banyak kesempatan kepada masyarakat untuk menempuh pendidikan tinggi. Pada studi ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif dalam memberikan penjelasan mengenai implementasi wakaf uang untuk pemberdayaan pendidikan. Hasil studi ini membuktikan bahwa wakaf memainkan peran yang penting dalam pemberdayaan pendidikan, terutama dalam mendukung dan meningkatkan pendidikan secara material. Ekonomi Islam, yang berlandaskan pada sedekah dan wakaf, menawarkan harapan besar untuk meningkatkan standar dan aksesibilitas pendidikan. Dana wakaf digunakan untuk membangun fasilitas baru, menawarkan beasiswa kepada siswa berprestasi, dan mendanai program yang meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dengan memberikan pengembangan profesional kepada guru.

Abstract

Literacy skills are an important thing that must be possessed by students. Good literacy skills can help students' understanding in the learning process. There are several options that teachers can use to improve students' literacy skills, one of which is by implementing differentiated learning. The purpose of this study is to improve students' literacy skills by implementing differentiated learning. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of differentiated learning provides quite good progress in students' literacy skills in Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah Malaysia.

Abstract

Education is a crucial element in a nation's development, influencing not only individuals but also broader social and economic progress. In Indonesia, improving the quality of education is a top government priority, with a focus on sustainable enhancement through integrated strategies and dimensions. This study identifies educational dimensions encompassing personal, social, and cultural aspects, aligning with the goals outlined in Law No. 20 of 2003. Strategies for improving educational quality, such as school-based management, fostering positive school culture, and effective leadership, are outlined as key steps toward achieving desired outcomes. The quality of education in Indonesia faces significant challenges, including a lack of qualified teachers, inadequate infrastructure, and curriculum policies. Government initiatives to address these issues include innovative policies like the Merdeka Belajar program and improvements in digital infrastructure. This research employs a qualitative methodology using a literature study approach to analyze educational challenges and propose applicable solutions. Findings indicate that collaboration among the government, society, and educational institutions is essential for creating a high-quality, internationally competitive learning environment. With commitment from all stakeholders, it is expected that the quality of education in Indonesia will improve significantly in the near future. The influence of entertainment platforms such as social media, television, and others significantly impacts individuals across Indonesia. It would be prudent for the government, schools, and parents to develop strategies and take action to increase the presence of inspirational educational content while limiting immoral and non-educational material. This effort aims to foster an educated and highly knowledgeable Indonesian society that embodies a harmonious and civilized way of life.

Abstract

This study focuses on the important and best concepts in the development of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching materials. The purpose of this study is to determine the urgency of developing teaching materials in Islamic Religious Education learning. In this study, the author uses a library research method and uses data sources from literature on Islamic Religious Education and the perspectives of practitioners involved in the process of making teaching materials. To collect data, relevant sources are searched, selected, and analyzed. This is done to create a complete framework for the development of effective PAI teaching materials. The results of the study indicate that students' motivation and understanding of the subject are significantly improved through systematic and comprehensive teaching materials. Well-designed and easy-to-understand teaching materials can help students learn better. This study also emphasizes the importance of using a systematic approach that includes needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation to create teaching materials that are in accordance with the curriculum and meet students' needs. In conclusion, the development of effective PAI teaching materials not only meets students' learning needs but also improves teachers' ability to deliver lessons effectively.

Abstract

Management of education funds is the most important and strategic element in realizing equal access and improving the quality of education in Indonesia. This research aims to identify the main challenges and solutions in managing education funds in Indonesia. The method in this research uses a qualitative approach based on literature studies. This study analyzes various relevant scientific journals, and compares fund management systems in several regions in Indonesia and developed countries such as Finland and Singapore. The results of this research show that the management of education funds in Indonesia still faces major challenges, especially in terms of uneven distribution, low transparency and suboptimal efficiency. Digitalization of the transparency system, enforcement of regulations, and involvement of local communities have proven to be effective strategies for improving the management of education funds.

Abstract

Learning Islamic Religious Education has an important role in the formation of individual character and morals, but many educators still have difficulty in conveying Islamic Religious Education the core of the discussion of Islamic religious education as the basis for character formation. Until now, even the decline in student learning motivation in learning Islamic religious education requires special attention that matches the character of students and technological advances in the 21st century. Using a descriptive analytical approach, this study reviewed related literature and conducted case studies in several Islamic educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that GBL has great potential in increasing student learning motivation. This study also produces products in the form of educational games that can be used in learning Islamic Religious Education. The results of the study indicate that the educational games developed have the potential to increase student learning motivation and their understanding of religious concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the organizational culture factors influencing human resource (HR) development at MA Al-Kahfi, Bekasi City. Organizational culture plays a crucial role in shaping a work environment that supports individual and collective growth, particularly in the education sector. The research employed interview methods with management, teachers, and staff as primary informants. The findings indicate that religious values, open communication, and interpersonal collaboration are the main factors in fostering a positive organizational culture. These factors impact the improvement of skills, motivation, and loyalty of HR at MA Al-Kahfi. The study recommends enhancing culture-based training programs and strengthening internal communication to further support HR development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze linguistic errors in translating Arabic texts. The habit of translating Arabic often uses Google Translate, focusing on morphological, syntactic, and semantic aspects to see the extent of errors in using Google Translate. The research method used is a qualitative method with a content analysis approach to see and explore these problems. Primary data used from testing Arabic texts that have been translated into Indonesian by Google Translate. While secondary data through literature studies. The results of the study show that Google Translate often makes mistakes in understanding the structure and linguistic system of Arabic, which has morphological complexity, flexibility of sentence structure, and semantic nuances that cannot always be translated directly. Morphological errors include misidentification of word forms and vowels, syntactic errors related to structure.
