Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship among scientific, thematic learning materials, and scientific literacy integrated in online learning carried out in three different primary schools, namely MI Al-Ikhlas, Luqman Al-Hakim Integral Elementary School, and at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 1 Sumenep in Sumenep Regency. Learning science  is with a scientific approach in primary school can be meant as student's mastery of knowledge about scientific, thematic, and scientific literacy, which is learned from facts, principles, and the discovery process during online learning. However, the science material given must be adapteded to the age and characteristics of the students concerned, meaning that science material is given to students and adjusted to the grade level, so that mastery of science can be beneficial both for the students and for the natural environment preservation  around them. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with a survey approach. The research population was 60 teachers and 280 students from three different schools, while the sample of this study consisted of 30 teachers and 150 students from whom the samples were taken using probability sampling. The data collection techniques in this study were in the forms of questionnaires and interview techniques for the teachers and students to complete the data. The research results showed that in the aspect of scientific literacy, namely explaining problems scientifically was 29.5%, interpreting data scientifically was 19%, communicating data scientifically was 40%, planning scientific investigations was 29.5%, carrying out scientific investigations was 33 %, and evaluated scientific investigations was 19%. These data indicate that there are still problems in the application of scientific, thematic, and scientific literacy during the pandemic period for students and thus, requires follow-up for solution

Abstract

Virus Covid-19 atau corona adalah salah satu jenis penyakit pernapasan akut yang berasal dari virus corona jenis baru. Penyakit ini pertama kali ada di Wuhan Cina dan menyebar ke seluruh dunia. Edukasi tentang penyebaran dibutuhkan bagi anak-anak tentang Covid 19 dan bagaimana cara-cara pencegahan terhadap Covid 19 tersebut. Hal inilah menjadi dasar pertimbangan tim pengabdian masyarakat program studi PGSD dan PBSI STKIP PGRI Sumenep untuk terlibat untuk meminimalisir pencegahan dan pengendalian virus Covid-19 dengan memberikan edukasi atau sosialisasi program terhadap penyebaran Covid-19 dan upaya pencegahan kepada siswa Sekolah Dasar Integral Luqman Alhakim melalui media ebook bergambar dan video animasi tentang Covid 19. Tujuan pengabdian adalah agar siswa sekolah dasar memiliki kesadaran tentang penyebaran Covid 19 dan memperoleh edukasi tentang pencegahan Covid-19 sehingga siswa dapat ikut serta melakukan berbagai upaya pencegahan penularan Covid-19 dimulai dari pribadi siswa.

Abstract

Saat ini pemerintah memberlakukan kebijakan pembelajaran daring  untuk memperlambat penyebaran virus corona di Indonesia. Guru merupakan pihak yang harus mengikuti pola kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah tersebut.  Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mereview bagaiamana guru professional di era new normal antara peluang dan tantangannya dalam pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur  atau pustaka tentang informasi guru professional di era new normal.  Data primer diambil dari tulisan atau artikel tentang guru di era new normal. Analisis datanya menggunakan content analysis. Hasil review ini menujukkan bahwa guru mengikuti kebijakan pemerintah dalam pembelajaran daring. Peluang dari pembelajaran tersebut guru dituntut untuk lebih menguasai teknologi dan bisa menyesuaikan dengan keadaan apapun. Tantangannya adalah kemampuan guru tersebut dalam menguasai teknologi, sumber daya manusia, sarana prasarana yang dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran daring. Untuk itu rekomendasi yang harus dilakukan adalah membangun kemitraan anatara orang tua, guru dan stakeholder secara berkelanjutan. Serta perlu adanya evaluasi terhadap proses pembelajaran daring agar tujuan dan hasilnya bisa tercapai secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of Student Worksheets (LKS) as a social media learning medium for material knowing the historical heritage of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam in the fifth grade of Bingin Teluk State Elementary School (SDN). The method used in this research is a quantitative method in the form of a survey. The data collection technique was carried out using an online questionnaire in the form of a Google Form which was analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The data source is the fifth-grade students of SDN Bingin Teluk as many as 25 students. The results of the study revealed that students enjoy learning to use Student Worksheets, students regularly open or read Student Worksheets at home, Hindu, Buddhist, and Islamic materials are easy to understand using Student Worksheets, students are not lazy to read Student Worksheets when studying in class, students discuss together with friends. my seat. This research is new because it has never been done before at SDN Bingin Teluk. The contribution of research can provide understanding for other schools that want to use Student Worksheets as a learning medium, provide references for other researchers who want to conduct research related to the use of Student Worksheets as a learning medium that is used by students and teachers.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the learning process used by teachers is in the form of digital media. This research is focused on digital learning, barriers faced by teachers, and various approaches to overcome various obstacles faced by teachers in implementing digital learning during the covid 19 pandemic. The type of research is qualitative research with a survey method. This research was conducted in Sumenep Regency with primary school teachers as the research object. The data collection consists of questionnaires given to 100 teachers and interviews to 9 teachers to describe information related to the focus of the research. The results of this study show that teachers do not directly utilize various digital platforms of various learning technologies implemented in online learning during covid 19. The obstacles experienced by the teachers include the teacher's low ability in applying the information technology, parents' economic factor, unstable internet networks, and the absence of information technology training given by schools. On the other hand, as time goes by teachers are able to implement the digital learning independently and adapt to the surrounding environment and understand the various characteristics of students in making use of digital in learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the readiness of parents in the implementation of Tarbiyatus Shibyan's early childhood education program. This type of research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The location of this study was carried out in Tarbiyatus Shibyan Jadung Dungkek Sumenep's Early Childhood Education. The subject of the study was an elderly person who sent his child to school in early childhood education Tarbiyatus Shibyan. The collection of data using interviews, observation, documentation and Focus Group Discussion. Data analysis consisted of data collection, data presentation and conclusion drawing. This research results in finding that the readiness of parents in organizing early childhood education is active.

Abstract

Salah satu bidang yang terkena dampak pandemi COVID-19 adalah bidang pendidikan khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran, salah satunya tentang penerapan pembelajaran yang biasanya menggunakan metode luring atau tatap muka menjadi metode pembelajaran online atau daring. Banyak orang tua yang menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran daring menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi. RBUS (Rumah Belajar Ustadzah Sundari) merupakan solusi nyata dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam menerima materi pembelajaran. Metode pendampingan pembelajaran ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan service learning dan tujuannya agar mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang pentingnya belajar meskipun dalam keadaan pandemi dan orang tua memiliki kesadaran bahwa proses pembelajaran masih berlangsung sehingga anak dapat berhasil memperoleh pendidikannya. Sedangkan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Juni sampai dengan Juli Tahun 2021. Adapun sasaran dalam kegiatan PKM melalui kegiatan RBUS yaitu siswa sekolah dasar dari Kelas 1 sampai Kelas 6 yang berjumlah 33 orang siswa, dimana rata-rata siswa bersekolah di SD Integral Luqman Hakim Sumenep dan SDN Pangarangan. Temuan dan Hasil kegiatan pendampingan ini yaitu dapat meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman siswa terhadap mata pelajaran dan pentingnya belajar, serta meningkatkan kesadaran orang tua akan pentingnya pendampingan anak dalam pembelajaran daring atau online. Selama masa pandemi covid-19 ini siswa dan orang tuanya berharap kepada tim pengabdi untuk tetap melanjutkan program pendampingan belajar tetap berjalan.One of the areas affected by the COVID-19 pandemic is the field of education, especially in the learning process, one of which is the application of learning that usually uses offline or face-to-face methods into online or online learning methods. Many parents state that online learning causes students to experience difficulties in understanding the material. RBUS (Ustadzah Sundari Learning House) is a real solution to increasing students' understanding of receiving learning material. This learning assistance method uses a service learning approach. The goal is to increase students' understanding of the importance of learning even in a pandemic, and parents have the awareness that the learning process is still ongoing so that children can successfully obtain their education. At the same time, this service will be carried out from June to July 2021. The target in PKM activities through RBUS activities is elementary school students from Class 1 to Class 6, totalling 33 students. The average student attends SD Integral Luqman Hakim Sumenep and SDN Pangarangan. The findings and results of this mentoring activity are that it can improve the quality of students' understanding of subjects and the importance of learning and increase parental awareness of the importance of assisting children in online or online learning. During the Covid-19 pandemic, students and their parents hoped that the service team would continue the learning assistance program to continue.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is using scientific knowledge to identify questions, acquire new knowledge, explain scientific phenomena, and draw conclusions based on scientific evidence. Implementation of the Campus Teaching Program Batch 3 is the realization of the independent learning curriculum core program movement, which aims to empower human resources, especially students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The research was conducted at Lenteng Barat IV Elementary School in Lenteng Barat Village, Lenteng District, Sumenep Regency, East Java, as the target school for the 3rd batch of campus teaching programs. Data collection techniques in this study used structured interviews; the researchers interviewed school principals, class teachers, and students who passed the Campus Teaching Program Batch 3. According to the interviews conducted with the respondents, the survey results said that implementing the Campus Teaching Program Batch 3 in building scientific literacy was very high/good. Seeing the study results, the researchers suggested developing scientific literacy and numeracy instruments in elementary schools.

Abstract

In everyday life, energy is a crucial factor that supports human survival. Energy is a non-renewable resource, and energy supplies dwindle over time. Therefore, if this situation continues, humans will lose access to energy sources. Coconut shells have been chosen as an energy alternative because they have a high calorific value when compared to other biomass sources. This program involves Bumdes and PKK women in Lapa Laok village with the aim of training them in making briquettes from coconut shell waste. The results can be used as a fuel source to replace kerosene and gas, as well as creating business opportunities for unproductive residents. This training was carried out by presenting material and practice on how to process coconut shell waste into briquettes using a simple method. This activity has a double benefit, namely training people to convert coconut shell waste into briquettes which have economic value and can be used as fuel to replace kerosene and gas
