Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of Scout activities on the formation of students' Islamic character at the Zainul Irsyad Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Probolinggo. Islamic character education is an effort to develop noble morals and spiritual values ​​based on Islamic teachings. This research uses a qualitative approach with data sources from the school principal, scout leaders, teachers and students. The research results show that Scouting as an extracurricular activity is proven to be able to shape students' Islamic character without disrupting learning activities in the classroom. The strategies carried out by Scoutmasters include instilling the moral messages contained in the Dasadharma of Scouting. The Islamic character values ​​developed include: Religious, Responsible, Honest, Independent, Confident, Hard Work, Discipline, Healthy Lifestyle, and Cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Islamic Moral Education in shaping religious character among students at MTS Mifda Prima Probolinggo, as well as to identify the supporting and hindering factors, along with the outcomes of applying this educational approach at MTS Mifda Prima Probolinggo. The research was conducted at MTS Mifda Prima Probolinggo, involving both the Islamic moral education teachers and the students as research subjects and informants. The applied method in this research is qualitative descriptive, where data, both written and oral, regarding the research subjects, are detailed. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is performed using the Miles and Huberman approach, involving data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that the implementation of Islamic Moral Education in shaping religious character among students at MTS Mifda Prima Probolinggo is carried out through exemplary and habituation methods. This includes incorporating pre-lesson prayers, communal prayers, participating in the Tahsinul Qur'an program, fostering commendable behavior, and showing respect to teachers and peers. The goal is to support the formation of religious values that can be applied in daily life and provide positive examples. Identified hindering factors involve inadequate time allocation and the behavior of students.

Abstract

Islamic religious education has a foundation from the Koran and Hadith as education. The aim of Islamic education is to create Muslim successors with good moral character. At this time, various verses explain how important it is to study the Koran, at least read it, see the decline in morals. Reading and studying the Koran is an obligation for every Muslim. The surah in the Qur'an that is widely practiced or often read by many people is surhAl-Waqiah with various believed meanings. This research uses a qualitative approach, which takes place scientifically. The methods for collecting data are observation, interviews and documentation.

Abstract

One of the ways that the ideal of life is realized is through education, especially Islamic education among Muslims, which serves to internalize these Islamic principles and pass them on to the next generation. Schools as educational institutions have an important role in implementing the learning objectives of moral beliefs. Because, developing spiritual and emotional intelligence in students has a significant impact in shaping character. This research is of descriptive qualitative type to analyze material on moral beliefs in increasing the spiritual and emotional intelligence of students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Miftahul Ulum Probolinggo. Based on the results of the study, MTs Miftahul Ulum Anak Probolinggo has strong emotional intelligence. They are able to regulate their emotions effectively, as seen by the fact that they do not feel intimidated by the rules and regulations that exist in school. Meanwhile, it can be said that the students of MTs Miftahul Ulum Probolinggo often have good spiritual intelligence in terms of their strong faith and acute environmental sensitivity.

Abstract

The formation of a strong and dignified character is the main challenge in individual development. One effective approach is through example, where positive role models become the main foundation in guiding individuals to acquire and internalize values, morality and integrity in their lives. This research highlights exemplary education at the Al-Ihsan Islamic Boarding School, with a focus on the exemplary forms shown by caregivers. The research method used is qualitative with data sources obtained through observation, field notes, interviews and personal documents. The results of the research concluded that the example of kiyai at the Al-Ihsan Islamic Boarding School includes several aspects, including patience, devotion to worship, humility, asceticism, good morals, self-confidence in preaching, and exemplary politics. It is hoped that an in-depth understanding of these forms of example can make a positive contribution to the formation of the character of students, not only in the realm of religion, but also in daily life and participation in society.

Abstract

This research is based on the author's concern regarding the recent decline in teacher morals/ethics. Judging from the large amount of coverage regarding the behavior of individual teachers, such as cases of sexual abuse against several students. The aim of this research is to obtain further information regarding the views of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan and K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari regarding the morals and ethics of an educator. The type of research or model used by the author is a type or form of qualitative research, which takes the form of library research, which is carried out by evaluating several related data, either from primary sources (Primary Sources) or secondary sources (Secondary). The findings from the research show that there are fewer differences and more similarities between the views of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan and K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari regarding the ethics of an educator in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Meanwhile, the apparent dissimilarity between the two of them regarding teacher ethics lies in Kiai Ahmad Dahlan's perspective on the relationship between teachers and students. K.H. Ahmad Dahlan emphasized the importance of educators being open, with the belief that the teaching and learning process can occur in various places and at any time. Not a few of his students became friends in their struggle, highlighting the importance of openness and a close relationship between a teacher and his students. Kiai Hasyim Asy'ari, on the other hand, shows caution, a teacher must maintain his authority. With the existing differences, the author can conclude that if the elements emphasized by Kiai Ahmad Dahlan al-Haj and Kiai Hasyim Asy'ari al-Haj are combined, a teacher's morals or ethics will be formed that are very positive and perfect each other.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to explore the strategies employed by parents in Tanjungrejo Village to instill religious values in their children, aiming to prevent adolescent delinquency. Religious values are considered crucial for providing moral guidance to adolescents. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, the study utilizes observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. Data analysis involves reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions from the gathered information. Findings indicate that parents utilize various tactics, such as setting personal examples, encouraging participation in religious activities like Quranic studies, and maintaining open communication with their children. Religious values serve as a strong moral foundation capable of influencing adolescent decision-making. Nevertheless, parents encounter challenges, particularly concerning their children's reliance on technology. Managing children's exposure to inappropriate content and ensuring the primacy of religious values in education pose significant hurdles for parents. Despite these challenges, parental involvement in instilling religious values is deemed essential in preventing adolescent delinquency. However, addressing influences like technology requires a careful approach to educating children in the digital age. Parents' recognition of their role in their children's education and collaborative efforts to foster an environment supportive of religious values could be crucial in preventing adolescent delinquency in Tanjungrejo Village.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the challenges of using digital tools in education for children who tend to spend time playing online games at MI AT-Tarbiyah Banjarsari, Banjarsari District. Sumberasih. In the digital era, the use of digital tools in learning is becoming increasingly important. However, children's tendency to spend time playing online games can be a barrier to the effective use of digital tools in educational settings. This research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research subjects were teachers, parents and students of MI AT-Tarbiyah Banjarsari District. Sumberasih has a tendency to spend time playing online games. The research results show that there are several challenges in using digital tools in children's education at MI AT-Tarbiyah Banjarsari. Factors such as parents' lack of understanding of the benefits of digital tools in education, limited access to technology, and the strong appeal of online games are the main obstacles. This research recommends the need to increase parents' understanding of the benefits of digital tools in education, the active involvement of teachers in developing interesting educational content, and the development of school policies that support the positive use of digital tools. In this way, it is hoped that we can overcome challenges and increase the effectiveness of the use of digital devices in improving the quality of education for children who tend to spend time playing online games.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the lack of Islamic preaching in the contemporary era, both in non-Islamic environments and in Islamic boarding school (pesantren) and other dormitory-based Islamic schools, especially within the structures of mosque in these Islamic institutions. From this issue, educators, particularly Islamic Studies teachers (PAI), pla a crucial role in making the mosque a center for Islamic preaching and education in the contemporary era. Abstract

The use of the YouTube social networking site in Islamic religious education learning in this era is very necessary to answer the challenges of the era where students will more easily receive understanding through audio and visual video. This research explores the integration of the YouTube social networking platform into learning fiqh subjects at MTs Muhammadiyah Salam Magelang. Using qualitative methods such as observation, interviews, and document analysis, this research investigates implementation strategies for student acceptance, impacts, and challenges for teachers related to incorporating the use of YouTube into Fiqh learning. These findings explain the use of YouTube as an educational tool in facilitating student engagement and understanding in Islamic religious studies. This study contributes to understanding the dynamic relationship between technology and Islamic religious education, providing valuable insights for educators in optimizing pedagogical approaches in teaching Islamic education. This research underscores the importance of utilizing digital platforms such as YouTube to enhance learning experiences and encourage meaningful engagement in religious education in Islamic school.
