Abstract

In education in Indonesia, the curriculum is an important component to support the success of the learning process. PAI learning is also adjusted to the new curriculum, namely the Merdeka Curriculum. The purpose of this study is to find out how the problematic implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in PAI learning. The method chosen in this study uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by reviewing several articles selected according to the theme taken from 2022-2024 and then analyzed first. The results of the analysis show that the problematic implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum occurs in several aspects including: 1) teacher competence in adapting, 2) the diversity of students' backgrounds, 3) the government provides less direction, 4) insufficient facilities, 5) a large administrative burden on teachers.

Abstract

Character education is a component of the independent curriculum that tries to mould character and is related to the moral conundrums that today's youngsters are facing. Naturally. These issues are quite worrying, particularly in view of the way that national education is forming the country's identity. This study made use of library research, which collects written data from books and specialised publications. Therefore, the goal of this study is to determine how urgently the autonomous curriculum needs to promote morally admirable values through character education. What is the significance of having a stand-alone character education programme, and how might honourable ideals be attained through it? is how the problem of the study was phrased. As a result of this study, The policy of acting in accordance with Pancasila values and nurturing admirable morals via characteristics is guided by the independent curriculum. To promote character education, society, the environment, parents, and educators must all set a good example of behaviour. Character education can be applied in a variety of ways within school walls to assist kids in developing positive attributes. Creating an activity programme that aids in pupils' acquisition of moral principles is one such method.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between gadget use and students' enthusiasm for learning. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational approach. The research sample consisted of 100 junior high school students in Semarang Regency. Data was collected through a questionnaire designed to measure the frequency and type of gadget use as well as the level of student enthusiasm for learning. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The research results show that there is a significant negative relationship between gadget use and students' enthusiasm for learning. These findings indicate that the higher the intensity of gadget use, the lower the level of student enthusiasm for learning. In addition, in-depth analysis reveals that the use of gadgets for non-academic purposes has a greater impact on reducing enthusiasm for learning than the use of gadgets for academic purposes. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended that parents and educators supervise and limit students' use of gadgets to increase their enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy in thematic learning involves combining numeracy in various subjects with methods and approaches that make it easier for students. It teaches students to understand and apply numeracy in everyday life, so it is important to integrate it in thematic learning. This research aims to examine the application of numeracy literacy in thematic learning in class 2 of MIN Jombang. Using a qualitative approach with case studies, data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and verification to ensure validity with careful observation, triangulation of sources and techniques, and material references. The results of research on the Application of Numeracy Literacy in Thematic Learning in Class 2 MIN 1 Jombang, are that the application of numeracy literacy in thematic learning in class 2 MIN 1 Jombang has been implemented well by the school. The habit that is carried out is reading 15 minutes before learning to foster students' interest in reading. Then the methods most widely used in the learning process are project based and collaborative learning.

Abstract

The presence of technology in various aspects of human life has had a significant impact on the world of education. Teachers, in the teaching process, are indirectly required to develop media and learning strategies that are not just monotonous in the form of lectures or discussions. They must keep up with technological developments and integrate them into the learning process. The implementation of audiovisual media is part of the teachers' and educators' efforts to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach, including stages such as literature review, observation, interviews, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, the use of audiovisual media is very effective in improving the quality of learning and students' motivation in Islamic Religious Education at MTs Az-Zainiya I Paiton Probolinggo. Audiovisual media not only helps students understand the material better but also makes learning more interesting and enjoyable. Teachers are expected to continue developing and utilizing this media in the learning process as an effort to improve services to students. This research also emphasizes the importance of innovation in teaching methods to enhance the quality of education and students' learning motivation.

Abstract

The decision to choose a school in the current era is a crucial step for parents and students. Choosing the right school will help maximize a child's potential and intelligence, because school is not only a place for learning but also for a child's personality development and character. Public awareness of the importance of education makes parents and students compete to choose schools that will provide the expected results in the future. This research was conducted at MTs Negeri 6 Jombang. This study use a quantitative approach. The study's population consisted of 198 parents of students, the sample taken was 132 parents of students using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5%, using probability sampling using simple random sampling techniques. The goals of this study include, (1) to find out whether there is an influence of school image on the decision to choose a school at MTs Negeri 6 Jombang, (2) to find out whether there is an influence of service marketing strategies on the decision to choose a school at MTs Negeri 6 Jombang, and (3) To find out whether there is a simultaneous influence of school image and service marketing strategy on the decision to choose a school at MTs Negeri 6 Jombang.

Abstract

Some of the objectives of this research are as follows: (1) Determine whether administrative management influences student satisfaction; (2) Determine whether service quality influences student satisfaction; and (3) Determine whether administrative management and service quality influence student satisfaction. A quantitative approach was taken in this research with the type of research using ex post facto. analyzing data using multiple linear regression tests. And the conclusions from the data obtained were: (1) Administrative management partially influences student satisfaction. It is known through hypothesis testing (in the form of a significance figure of 0.000 < 0.005 and the result of the T count is 4.767 < 1.997); (2) Service quality partially influences student satisfaction as proven by the results of the hypothesis test (the significant number is 0.000 < 0.005 and the T count is 4.764 < 1.997); (3) Administrative management and service quality simultaneously influence student satisfaction. It can be seen through the nominal significance, namely 0.000 < 0.005 and the calculated F result 15.042 < 2.74).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of classroom management and the school environment on student learning motivation. This research uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto type of research. The sample in the research was 84 students as respondents, and used non-probability sampling with a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with 30 statement items. And using multiple linear regression test data analysis techniques. The results in this study show that. (1) there is a partial influence between class management on student learning motivation with a significance value of 0.026 < 005 and a result of T= 2.260 > 1.993. (2) there is a partial influence between the school environment on student learning motivation with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a result of T= 6.178 > 1.993. (3) there is a simultaneous influence between classroom management and the school environment on student learning motivation with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and results F= 19.420 > 2.72.

Abstract

Like many other things, the principal's leadership style and culture affect teachers' performance. The primary purpose of this study is to determine if the leadership style of madrasah principals has an effect on teacher performance at MTs Negeri 4 Jombang. The secondary purpose is to determine if organisational culture has an effect on teacher performance at MTs Negeri 4 Jombang. Lastly, we hope to uncover any interactions between these two factors. Findings (1) Teachers' performance is less affected by the principal's leadership style than anticipated in madrasahs. According to the results of the hypothesis testing (significance value 0.000 < 0.005) and the T count (3.522 < 1.984), the alternative hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the null hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. (2) This study's findings demonstrate that company culture affects instructors' performance on the job. The hypothesis test results, which indicate a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005 and a T count result of 6.588 < 1.984, lead us to accept Ha and reject Ho. (3) The leadership style and organisational culture of the madrasah head have a substantial impact on teacher performance at MTs Negeri 4 Jombang. Due to the computed T value (significance value 0.000 < 0.005) and the calculated F value (20.284 < 2.7758), the alternative hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the null hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

This research examines two important currents in educational philosophy, namely essentialism and social reconstructionism. Essentialism emphasizes the importance of mastering basic knowledge and skills, while social reconstructionism focuses on the role of education in reforming society. The aim of this research is to analyze the differences and similarities between the two schools, as well as their implications for contemporary educational practice. The method used is a literature study with a comparative analysis approach. The research results show that although the two schools have fundamental differences in educational goals, they both emphasize the importance of the role of teachers and a structured curriculum. Essentialism tends to maintain the status quo, while social reconstructionism seeks to encourage social change through education. This research concludes that a synthesis of the two streams can provide a more comprehensive framework for facing educational challenges in the modern era.
