Abstract

This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on character education on fractional material. This type of research is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The research and development design in this R&D uses the 4-D development model developed by Thiagarajan. Quantitative research data in this study were obtained from product assessments by validation experts and also the results of filling out questionnaires for teacher and student respondents. Quantitative data obtained from suggestions and notes by validators, teachers and students. The instruments in this research are questionnaire, interview and posttest guidelines. The level of validity of student worksheets is based on assessments from material experts, media experts, and language experts. As well as the level of practicality of the product based on the results of teacher and student assessments and learning outcomes based on the results of student tests. Based on the assessment by teachers and students of class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah 2 West Pontiank. The validation results obtained an average percentage of 80.09% with valid criteria. The level of practicality of the Student Worksheet (LKPD) Based on Character Education in Pontianak fraction material obtained a percentage result of 82.51% with very practical criteria. Then the learning outcomes get 87.80% with very high criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efectiviti of the use of monoaxic learning media on the social interaction of grade 4 students in thematic learning. The research method used is Quasi Experiment, this study uses two classes, the control class and the experimental class. Class 4 A is the control class with 28 students and class B is the experimental class with 28 students. This research was conducted from August 2021 to October 2022 located at SDN 09 Serang City. Based on the research that has been done, it shows that there is high effectiveness from the use of monoaxic learning media for students' social interactions. This can be seen from the results of student questionnaire data calculations using monoaxis learning media is 80,7 while student questionnaire calculations using image learning media are 56 .based on the results of the t test which obtained results 0,00 < 0,05 then it can be it can be concluded that the use of monoaxic learning media for interactions has effectiveness. As well as when compared to the use of monoaxic learning media it is better than image learning media.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe lesson plan, the implementation of learning that lesson plan, the  process of assessment, learning outcomes, supporting and inhibiting factors, and to describe the teachers’ and students’ responses and to describe the role of thematic learning based on local Dayak traditions in establishing the character of Pancasila for students. This is a descriptive research was carried out at SDN 12 Sungai Risap, SDN  04 SPF Mensiku and SDN 07 Telaga II, within the teachers, principals, and 4th grade students as the subjets. The findings of this research showed that are 1) the teachers had already planned the local tradition-based thematic learning well; 2) the teachers also had already performed 5 essential steps well, i.e. observing, asking, exploring, associating, and communicating; 3) the teachers had assessed the learning within the assessment procedure as showed by Curriculum of 2013; 4) the learning outcomes showed that the students could achieve the determined basic competencies through students’ knowledge, attitude, and skills; 5) there were some supporting and barrier factors for the students in order to achieve the basic competencies. The supporting factors were competent teachers, media, method, material, students’ interest, and environmental condition for studying, meanwhile the barrier factors were limited time, limited media, and students’ interest; 6) the teachers and students positively responded the implementation of local tradition ‘Gawai Dayak’ thematic learning-based. They stated that it was easy to understand because it was from their real experience in society; 7)  ‘Gawai Dayak’ tradition-based thematic learning played role to establish the characters of students of Pancasila. Some of the characters were noble moral character (to the God, nature, and other human beings), global diversity character and mutual cooperation character.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Garuda Pancasila song in fostering a sense of love for the Indonesian homeland and the impact of the Garuda Pancasila song on the love for the Indonesian homeland for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 20 Mambok, Sintang. The research was conducted using a qualitative reasearch design with a taxonomic analysis approach. With subjects selected and decided purposively, i.e. educators, school managers, and students as well as experts in music education and learning. Data collection techniques are carried out by utilizing perceptions or observations, music practice, and interviews. In this study it was found that, a sense of love for the Indonesian homeland had been instilled from an early age in SD Negeri 20 Mambok Sintang, before learning began the principal gave rules so that all students and teachers in the school listened to several national songs, one of the songs that was often used was Garuda Pancasila song. Apart from that, the role of the Garuda Pancasila song has an indirect impact on the feeling of love for the homeland and defending the country, this can be seen when the song is played and listened to, the attitude of the students and teachers is ready and serious in listening. and fifth grade students can sing songs well and memorize song lyrics very well in these fifth grade children.

Abstract

Most students are not confident in the learning process because students are less interested in speaking activities, when doing speaking exercises students look tense, this situation results in students not being used to speaking and the language used is still lacking, so the conversation is still stuttering the process of speaking skills applied by the teacher is still not attractive, thereby reducing the interest and enthusiasm of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' speaking skills in class V. The method used by this researcher was Research and Development (R&D) with procedures the research refers to the 4D model by Thiagarajan which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The data collection is in the form of tests, observations, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, observation sheets, research instruments. The data analysis technique is validation questionnaire analysis and user response, pre-test, post-test, and indicators of success. The results of this study indicate that audio-visual media through the Cartoon Story Maker application is very feasible to improve the speaking skills of grade 5 students. This is evidenced by the validation results from two media experts with a percentage of 85.8% in the category "Very Eligible", two linguists with the percentage of 87.2% is in the category of "Very Eligible", two material experts with a percentage of 80.9% are in the category of "Very Eligible". The response of students' reading interest to audio-visual media through the Cartoon Story Maker application in a trial with 20 respondents was 82.9% in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

Numerical literacy skills are very much needed in learning mathematics, because mathematics is not only always related to formulas, but also requires reasoning or critical thinking patterns from students in answering every problem presented. The use of various learning strategies can make it easier for students to understand numeracy literacy, and create an active learning atmosphere for students to produce better students' numeracy literacy skills. This study aims to determine differences in students' numeracy literacy abilities through the use of index card match type learning strategies and make a match learning strategies. This study used a quasi-experimental method, with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SDN Duri Kosambi 07 Pagi. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling, the VA class became the experimental class and the VD class became the control class. The results of this study show that the average score of the VA class students who used the index card match type learning strategy was 74.47 while the average score of the VD class students who used the make a match learning strategy was 58.63. That way, it can be concluded that there are differences in the numeracy literacy abilities of students who use the index card match type learning strategy and students who use the make a match learning strategy. In addition, the numeracy literacy skills of students who use the index card match type learning strategy are better than students who use the make a match learning strategy.

Abstract

This research is based on the problems found in students who have difficulty understanding thematic learning material and the lack of interest of students in learning is seen because during the learning process students only listen, see and record what is conveyed by the teacher. The results of research on the development of flipbook digital media are very useful and play an important role in learning activities at school so that students look enthusiastic and happy in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the media and students' responses to digital flipbook learning media using the Canva application in thematic learning theme 3 sub-theme 2 healthy food for fifth grade elementary school students. This study uses the Research and Development (RnD) method according to Sugiyono with six stages of development namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial (limited). The results of this study were 1) validation by media experts obtained an average of 89% in the very feasible category, validation by material experts obtained an average of 86.11% in the very feasible category and validation by linguists obtained an average of 79% in the feasible category; 2) the response of students as a whole obtains 95% in a very good category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the use of the problem based learning model on students' creative thinking abilities and to find out how much contribution arises from student responses in using the problem based learning model for Gempol State Elementary School students. The method used in this research is a quantitative method, with a quasi-experimental design with 26 respondents as subjects of class IV students. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t test, a calculated t value of 2.249 was obtained. From these results it is known that the calculated t value> t table, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Apart from that, the data for the average value of the control class is smaller than the average value of the experimental class. The control class average was 70.77 while the experimental class average was 76.73. So it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model has an effect on the creative thinking abilities of class IV elementary school students.

Abstract

Changes to the curriculum are a necessity to keep up with developments so that the quality of education improves. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) has issued a policy to implement the kurikulum Merdeka. The Kurikulum Merdeka is a new policy created to improve the education system and quality in Indonesia. By implementing the kurikulum merdeka, it is hoped that it will be able to have a positive impact on students, namely knowledge, skills and character, thereby producing students who are intelligent, skilled and have good ethics. This research was carried out in the form of a literature study, with data sources in the form of research articles and books. The results of the study show that, apart from students, teachers experience a very pronounced impact, especially their readiness to teach. It is hoped that the implementation of this kurikulum merdeka will inspire the next generation to continue to improve themselves to improve quality and competitiveness in the world of education. The implementation of this kurikulum merdeka  is a tool for us to achieve better results and compete in the world of national and international education.

Abstract

Implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka, periodic assessments are needed to determine the progress of student learning outcomes. In order to be interesting and still in accordance with the mandate of the Kurikulum Merdeka by providing fun learning, Project and Literacy Week is used as a form of summative assessment activity. The purpose of this summative assessment is to explain the forms, instruments, implementation procedures, and student work from the Project and Literacy Week activities at the Sekolah Kreatif SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surabaya. Qualitative descriptive is the method used with data collection techniques in the form of documentation. Research shows that (1) the form of assessment is a combination of tests and non-tests in order to be able to measure cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects; (2) the assessment instrument uses a rubric with a weighting technique that adjusts the assessment aspects according to each subject; (3) the procedure for implementing the assessment is carried out for a week. In practice, the teacher gives instructions and guides the project work technique; (4) the students' work from the Project and Literacy Week activities looks more creative and students are enthusiastic and happy during the process. Project and Literacy Week assesses cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. Further development of a similar Assessment to support the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka.
