Abstract

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the government needs to initiate new policies that support the transition from face-to-face to online learning. This study aimed to examine the impact of student independence on distance learning. The sample included 835 elementary, middle, and high school students in Bekasi City and Regency, selected using proportional cluster random sampling. The data were collected using a student learning independence questionnaire. Furthermore, the study used non-experimental quantitative design and analyzed data through the Rasch model. The WINSTEPS software helped determine the instrument validity and reliability. Moreover, students’ discipline in online learning was determined using descriptive statistics of mean and standard deviation and logit item value and individual scores. The scores were specifically used to assess their readiness based on gender, age, ethnicity, and field of study. The results showed that student independence was moderate at 69% based on government regulations on online learning patterns. This condition influences the' mentality of students and learning independence in a conducive environment.

Abstract

This research examines the analysis of the implementation of the scientific learning approach in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject at PKPPS Minhajurroosyidiin Jakarta with the aim of enhancing students' critical thinking. The study utilizes a qualitative method, focusing on a series of stages in scientific learning, including planning, design, observation activities, questioning, experiments, data analysis, presentation of results, and learning evaluation. The research findings indicate that this approach successfully increases student engagement, enriches the learning process, and develops critical and creative thinking skills in understanding the teachings of PAI. The effectiveness of the scientific learning approach is evident in several key aspects, such as placing students as active subjects in the learning process, fostering the development of critical thinking skills, increasing student engagement, achieving in-depth learning outcomes, and receiving positive responses from both students and teachers. Factors influencing the implementation of this approach include teacher readiness, the availability of learning resources, school leadership support, student participation, curriculum and evaluation alignment, school culture, as well as understanding and implementation of Islamic values. The synergy among these factors is crucial for the successful implementation of the scientific approach and the enhancement of students' critical thinking in the context of the PAI subject. This research contributes to understanding the practical application of the scientific learning approach in the PAI subject and its impact on improving students' critical thinking. The holistic implementation of this approach requires teacher readiness, school support, student involvement, and a deep understanding of Islamic values. The research results are expected to serve as a foundation for developing more effective learning strategies oriented towards the development of critical thinking skills in students within the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

ABSTRACK This research aims to gain a deep understanding of the role of religiosity in shaping the work ethic of factory workers in LPKS Mynara Cikarang. In this research approach, a qualitative method was employed, focusing on data collection through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The research respondents consisted of factory workers at LPKS Mynara Cikarang with diverse work experiences. The findings of this research depict religiosity not only as a series of religious rituals but also as a profound awareness that permeates moral values and personal engagement with God. These religious values provide a strong moral foundation, creating a work culture based on a moral calling rather than tasks as mere obligations. Religious practices, such as prayer and self-reflection, are not just rituals but also psychological strategies that positively impact the psychological well-being of workers. The research also highlights the challenges and opportunities in enhancing the work ethic of factory workers. Training and skills development are recognized as strategic pillars, while leadership roles that set positive examples and engage in open communication are identified as keys to motivating workers. However, high levels of stress and workload can hinder productivity, indicating the need for management policies that support employee well-being. Adaptation to technological changes is also crucial, requiring relevant training and effective communication. Overall, these findings provide a foundation for companies to develop holistic strategies that incorporate training, leadership, stress management, and technological adaptation to sustainably enhance the work ethic of factory workers.

Abstract

ABSTRACK This research was conducted at Al-Awwabin Islamic Boarding School in Depok City with the aim of understanding the attitudes of religious moderation among the students (santri). The study is motivated by the fact that Depok ranks fifth as an intolerant city according to a study by Setara Institute in collaboration with the Presidential Unit for the Implementation of Pancasila Ideology (UKP-PIP). Al-Awwabin Islamic Boarding School was chosen as the location for community service with a focus on religious moderation education, with the hope of strengthening harmony and tolerance in the community of Depok City. Research at Al-Awwabin Islamic Boarding School involved 50 participants from among the students and local residents. The seminar held as part of the research activities was attended by Dr. Ahmad Sujai, MM., as Speaker I, Ust. Abdurrahman (Riri), M.Pd., as Speaker II, and Mr. A. Muwahid Muhammadi, S.HI, MM., as the Moderator. The research results indicate that the understanding of religious moderation at Al-Awwabin Islamic Boarding School is generally good. However, there is variation in the level of understanding among respondents. This data analysis provides a deeper understanding of the distribution and variation of attitudes towards religious moderation in the boarding school. Additionally, factors such as the educational background of the students, the social organization of the guardian parents, the teaching of religious moderation, and the leadership role (Kiai) also contribute to the understanding and attitudes of religious moderation at Al-Awwabin Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

The project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students is one of the projects implemented in the Merdeka curriculum, the implementation of which is different in each school. This research aims to find out how the implementation of the independent curriculum strengthens the profile of Pancasila in the school. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this research were obtained from interviews and observations. Using interview instruments, this research conducted interviews with informants from schools consisting of school principals, teachers and students. Based on the results of this research, the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMA Dharma Wanita, Kediri, East Java has not been implemented comprehensively, but has only been implemented in grade 10. Meanwhile, grades 11 and 12 are still implementing the 2013 Curriculum, and are collaborating with the Putra Sampoerna Foundation (PSF) as an educational consultant to hold outreach and training at SMA Dharma Wanita, Kediri, East Java which discusses the independent curriculum, learning the independent curriculum and learning about P5 activities. Then, in its implementation, SMA Dharma Wanita formed a team of several teachers who were the driving force for creating the P5 project and teaching modules. The Independent Curriculum teaching module at SMA Dharma Wanita was created by adopting or adapting examples of teaching modules that have been created by the ministry and adapted to the school's capabilities.

Abstract

Pemahaman agama tentang adab berpakaian muslimah adalah aspek krusial bagi umat islam Karena berpakaian bukan hanya ibadah tetapi juga penanda identitas keislaman. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan konsisten mengenai adab berpakaian muslimah yang didasarkan pada ajaran agama Islam yang sebenarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh pemahaman agama terhadap adab berpakaian di SMK Nurul Iman Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode “Deskriptif Analitik Korelarional”. Objek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X, XI, XII SMK Nurul Iman Jakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 327 peserta didik, dan sampel berdasarkan rumus slovin menjadi 105 peserta didik. Teknik metodologi penelitian menggunakan simple random sampling, untuk menganalisis data dengan korelasi product moment (rxy). Data yang dihasil dari korelasi product moment rxy sebesar 0,622, dan berdasarkan interpretasi data menunjukan bahwa metode demostrasi memiliki korelasi yang sedang atau cukup yaitu 0,40 – 0.70.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that literacy programs can be determined by the characteristics of the students they have. Literacy as understood by Indonesians was originally reading books which were considered boring and only a few enjoyed using them. Seeing lots of texts and thick books is not interesting for the current generation of reading, especially for students. This research aims to find out how much influence the Literacy Program has in shaping the characteristics of students at SMAN 83 Jakarta. The method used in this research uses a quantitative correlation method. Using the Simple Random Sampling method, there were 68 students at SMA Negeri 83 Jakarta, and equipped with data collection techniques, observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation. Meanwhile, the analysis uses the product moment correlation technique. The research results show that if you look at the Product Moment coefficient test, it produces "rxy" or "ro" of 0.50, while "rt" in the table is significant at 5% = 0.235 and at a significance level of 1% = 0.306. Thus it can be seen that "ro" > "rt" is both significant at 5% and 1%. So based on these results the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted or approved and the Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected or not approved. Based on this research, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the literacy program in shaping the characteristics of students at SMA Negeri 83 Jakarta.

Abstract

Teacher performance is the main and very urgent factor that enables the realization of educational and learning goals in the school environment. The realization of teacher performance is due to many factors, including: work stress situations, work environment, workload and interpersonal communication. Therefore, many of these matters require special attention from all parties, so that teachers work in harmony with their work. This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of work stress, work environment, workload and interpersonal communication on the performance of Islamic religious education teachers at high schools in Banten. In conducting research, researchers used an ex post facto type of quantitative approach. The research sample was 64 Islamic religious education teachers at private high schools in Pandeglang Banten, with a random sampling method. In obtaining research data, observation, questionnaires and documents were used. Data analysis was carried out in stages, including: data description, validation testing, reliability testing, analysis requirements testing, as well as simultaneous and partial analysis tests. The research results found: work stress on teacher performance has a positive and significant influence. The work environment on teacher performance has a positive and significant influence. Workload on teacher performance has a positive and significant influence. Interpersonal communication on teacher performance has a positive and significant influence. Likewise, work stress, work environment, workload and interpersonal communication have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. This means that the lower the work stress and workload, the higher the performance of the Islamic religious education teacher. At the same time, as the work environment and interpersonal communication improve, the performance of Islamic religious education teachers will also increase.

Abstract

In this study, it aimed at grade V students of SD Suka Rukun 01 Bekasi Regency, the purpose of this study was to increase student activeness in class. In Islamic religious education learning, this research is a Classroom Action Research that collaborates with teachers as implementers of learning and observation as observers This Class Action Research is conducted in two cycles or two meetings. Seeing the problem in grade V SD Negeri Suka Rukun 01 is the lack of student activity in learning PAI. The activeness of the students referred to here is to have high enthusiasm and confidence in learning so that students are able to understand the material presented well. Data collection methods through observation and interviews. The data is tabulated after descriptive analysis in tabular form. Based on the results of the study, there was an increase in student activity in cycles 1 and 2 with an increase of 77.30% and 86.00% respectively. Thus, it can be concluded that the type numbered heads together cooperative method can increase the activeness of grade V students in PAI learning at SD Negeri Suka Rukun 01.

Abstract

This research discusses the Intellectual Genealogy owned by Sheikh Muhajirin Amsar Addary in the Development of Islamic Education in Bekasi. The method applied in this research is the qualitative historical method.. Sheikh Muhajirin Amsar Addary is a scholar who focuses on education and knowledge. The intellectual genealogy he got while studying came from various types and models of scholars, especially during his time in Mecca and Medina. Sheikh Muhajirin played an active role and made a significant contribution to the development of education in the Bekasi area. This makes him a productive scholar with evidence of as many as 35 books written by him using Arabic. In addition, he also established boarding schools and formal schools from high school to college level to further legitimize his knowledge. The implications given by Sheikh Muhajirin Amsar Addary were so great to the Bekasi community and of course to his students who came to study with him. This is evident from some of Sheikh Muhajirin's students who own boarding schools and continue their knowledge in preaching to the wider community in Indonesia, especially in Bekasi and its surroundings. Sheikh Muhajirin's thoughts on the Prophet's birthday and Rukyatul Hilal are also present in the implications given by Sheikh Muhajirin Amsar Addary.
