Abstract

This article aims to offer a solution and material for reflection and evaluation for every individualhuman being (especially muslims and Indonesian citizens) regarding the various differences that have become natural to God as the Creator., So the hope is to be able to become a person who has a relaxed, sincere and tolerant nature towards whatever things happen in each person's routine life. Literature review was chosen as a research method with a qualitative-descriptive approach in compiling the content of the discussion. The results of the research are: Islamic religious law from the past until now has always adhered to and provided freedom for every individual human being in life, equipped with certain references in its implementation. There are several efforts or steps offered towards Islamic humanist values such as emulating the noble qualities of Allah Swt (the Creator/God) in life., There is no application of sects or castes in any mosque because of equality of rank as servants of God's creation and the obligation to uphold justice based on Islamic religious law and the rules enforced in each region and need to have the will to analyze all forms of content of the teachings prescribed by the Islamic religion to be able to find ibrah or lessons from it. On the other hand, even if we look at Islamic education, of course these Islamic humanist values can indeed be said to be very much in line with the aims of universal Islamic education and in particular the formulation of Indonesian state education, which is oriented towards the realm of creed, worship and morals. Furthermore, regarding concrete manifestations in the reality of life, one of them can be applied as a basis in the realm of education and should be able to be packaged by collaborating with the nuances of custom or culture (local wisdom) of each region so that it has the implication of creating a more attractive impression and even maximizing the achievement of the desired goals, such as the example of the philosophical concept of “huma betang” in Central Kalimantan/the Dayak Ngaju tribe which carries three essential moral values, namely: a sense of kinship or familiarity with one another, a sense of togetherness or shared destiny and a sense of equality or equality of position as creatures created by God.

Abstract

Pencak silat is one of Indonesia's original cultural heritages that has high philosophical and character values. This martial art is not only aimed at training physical skills, but also as a medium for character education. Pencak silat not only teaches physical skills, but also contains spiritual and moral aspects that are important in character building. The findings of the study showed that in each training session, there was an emphasis on the importance of values ​​such as honesty, politeness, and responsibility. This study found that participants involved in pencak silat had a higher level of integrity and were more compliant with moral norms in their daily lives. This study aims to describe the role of pencak silat in shaping the character of adolescents. Through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with trainers and participants, it was found that pencak silat not only teaches self-defense techniques, but also noble values ​​such as patience, courage, and sportsmanship. In addition, pencak silat also provides a forum for adolescents to interact socially and develop self-confidence. The results of this study conclude that pencak silat can be an effective alternative in efforts to shape the character of the younger generation.

Abstract

This research examines the role of charity in Islam and Christianity, highlighting both the theological underpinnings and practical applications of charitable practices within each tradition. By employing a comparative analysis methodology, the study draws upon primary religious texts, including the Qur'an and the Bible, as well as secondary scholarly sources to explore the definitions, types, and ethical principles associated with charity in both faiths. Key themes such as compassion, social justice, and community responsibility are analysed to uncover commonalities and differences between Islamic and Christian charitable practices. Additionally, the research includes case studies of contemporary charity initiatives in Muslim and Christian communities, illustrating how these traditions address social issues such as poverty, inequality, and crisis response. Through interviews and surveys conducted with religious leaders and practitioners, the study also investigates the impact of interfaith collaborations on charitable efforts. The findings reveal that while both faiths emphasise the importance of charity as a moral obligation, the expressions and institutional frameworks differ significantly. This research contributes to the broader discourse on interfaith dialogue by demonstrating how shared values in charity can foster mutual understanding and cooperation between Muslims and Christians, ultimately suggesting pathways for collaborative efforts to address pressing societal challenges.

Abstract

Darul Huda Mayak Islamic Boarding School is a boarding school that uses the salafiyatil hadithah method. In the process of understanding yellow books, at least one must master the science of nahwu and sharaf, because these two sciences are the main gateways to understanding and studying various yellow books. At Darul Huda Mayak Islamic Boarding School, the Al-Miftah lil ulum method has been applied, a basic method to get to know in depth the rules of nahwu and sharaf which are arranged practically. This study aims to analyze (1) the application of the Al-Miftah lil ulum method in learning yellow books at Darul Huda Mayak Islamic Boarding School; (2) supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the application of the Al-Miftah lil ulum method at Darul Huda Mayak Islamic Boarding School; and (3) the implications of the application of the Al-Miftah lil ulum method in learning yellow books at Darul Huda Mayak Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods using Observation, Interviews and Documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, verification, developing model building models, compiling write-up reports). Data validity techniques using technical triangulation and source triangulation. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that (1) the Al-Miftah method was applied in the book room of the Darul Huda Mayak Islamic Boarding School by combining lecture, singing, and memorization techniques. In addition, there are also four strategies applied, namely understanding and memorizing material, learning songs, takror and questions and answers, and innovative game strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development of Arabic and English language culture in modern Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) through a qualitative approach using a literature review method. The research focuses on linguistic dynamics as a form of the pesantren's adaptation to the challenges of educational globalization. Data were collected from credible written sources such as journal articles, academic books, conference proceedings, and research reports published between 2015 and 2025. The analysis process was carried out in three main stages: data reduction, thematic classification, and interpretative conclusion drawing. The findings show that the language culture of Arabic and English in modern pesantren has undergone a transformation through three phases: traditional, transitional, and modernization. Arabic, which was originally textual in nature, has expanded to become communicative, while English has been integrated as a tool for global communication. This transformation is supported by institutional strategies such as the creation of a language environment, the implementation of bilingual policies, and visionary leadership. This study makes a significant contribution to understanding the adaptive strategies of pesantren in shaping a contextual and future-oriented language culture.

Abstract

in Indonesian language books for fifth grade elementary school students based on the book eligibility standards set by the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP). This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a document analysis method on components such as the title page, foreword, table of contents, glossary, index, bibliography, and author profile. The results of the study indicate that in general the book has met the eligibility standards in terms of presentation structure, language, and graphics. However, several weaknesses were still found, such as inconsistencies in spelling, inconsistencies in page numbers in the table of contents, the use of sentences that are too complex for the level of understanding of elementary school students, and the lack of supporting visualizations in the post-content section. In addition, the author profile and bibliography do not show relevant and up-to-date sources. These findings emphasize the importance of attention to the pre-content and post-content sections so that textbooks not only meet the core material aspects but also support the effectiveness of learning in line with the principles of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Adoption at the macro level using a bibliometric approach with the aid of VOSviewer " and "Return on Investment (ROI)". The analysis revealed five major research clusters: technological implementation challenges, the role of SMEs, financial performance and ROI, cost and industry, and corporate strategies. The overlay visualization indicates that emerging topics such as artificial intelligence and digital transformation are becoming more prominent in recent literature, while ROI-related discussions were more prevalent in earlier years. This study provides a comprehensive mapping of current research trends and focal points in the field of technology adoption, and identifies potential research gaps for future exploration. Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti kompetensi guru IPS dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran di SMP Negeri Kota Madiun. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian dilakukan di 14 SMP Negeri Kota Madiun selama tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Fokus penelitian pada tiga aspek utama: kemampuan mengembangkan modul ajar, materi ajar, dan merancang asesmen sesuai tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru IPS memiliki kemampuan cukup baik dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran. Dalam aspek modul ajar, guru telah mengembangkan modul berdasarkan Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) dengan pendekatan yang berfokus pada minat dan bakat siswa. Terkait materi ajar, guru mengembangkan materi kontekstual yang memuat masalah sosial di lingkungan siswa, dengan strategi dan metode pembelajaran yang beragam. Pada aspek asesmen, guru telah menerapkan asesmen formatif dan sumatif, serta melakukan evaluasi secara berkesinambungan dan komprehensif. Tantangan utama meliputi kesulitan dalam menyusun tujuan pembelajaran yang terukur, mengembangkan materi kontekstual, dan merancang penilaian komprehensif. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan adalah kreativitas guru, motivasi siswa, dan dukungan sekolah, sedangkan penghambatnya meliputi kurangnya pemahaman tentang Kurikulum Merdeka, terbatasnya pelatihan, dan fasilitas pendukung yang minim.

Abstract

This study examines the application of interactive learning media Wordwall to improve motivation and geography learning outcomes in grade XI-9 students of SMA Negeri 1 Barat, Magetan Regency. Using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method of the Kemmis and McTaggart model, the study was conducted in three stages: pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The results showed an increase in learning motivation from 39.72% (pre-cycle) to 57.91% (cycle I) and 80.69% (cycle II). Student learning outcomes also increased with classical completeness from 58.33% (pre-cycle) to 69.44% (cycle I) and 83.33% (cycle II). The application of Wordwall successfully changed the learning paradigm from "learning because you have to" to "learning because you want to" by creating a fun competitive atmosphere through challenges and educational games. This study proves the effectiveness of Wordwall as an alternative learning media to overcome boredom and increase student engagement in geography learning.

Abstract

This research examines the competence of social studies teachers in developing learning tools at public junior high schools in Madiun City. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research was conducted at 14 SMP Negeri Kota Madiun during the 2024/2025 academic year. The research focuses on three main aspects: ability to develop teaching modules, learning materials, and assessment designs according to the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum. The results show that social studies teachers have adequate capability in developing learning tools. In terms of teaching modules, teachers have developed modules based on Learning Objectives Pathways (ATP) with approaches focused on students' interests and talents. Regarding learning materials, teachers have developed contextual materials that address social issues in students' environments, using diverse teaching strategies and methods. In assessment aspects, teachers have implemented formative and summative assessments, conducting continuous and comprehensive evaluations. The main challenges include difficulties in formulating measurable learning objectives, developing contextual materials, and designing comprehensive assessments. Supporting factors for successful implementation include teacher creativity, student motivation, and school support, while the inhibiting factors include lack of understanding about the Merdeka Curriculum, limited training opportunities, and minimal supporting facilities.
