Abstract

The purpose of this study was to get an overview, to increase PAK learning activities through problem-solving learning models in PAK learning for class IX-B students of SMP K Bethel Jakarta-Pusat. This research was conducted at SMP K Bethel Jakarta-Pusat, with the subjects studied were students of class IX-B. The method used is classroom action research which consists of two cycles. In the first cycle, learning was carried out by applying a problem-solving learning model accompanied by observation sheets of student learning activities. Whereas in cycle II learning was also carried out by applying a problem-solving learning model accompanied by observation sheets of student learning activities and a list of questions. Each cycle consists of four stages of research, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The research data were analyzed using comparative descriptive followed by reflection. Comparative descriptive is done by comparing data on initial conditions, cycle 1 and cycle 2, for student learning activities. The results of this study indicate that the application of the problem-solving learning model can improve the learning activities of class IX-B students of SMP K Bethel Jakarta-Pusat. It is proven that the percentage of students in PAK learning activities increases from the initial condition 0.58% to 70.5% in the first cycle and to 100% in the second cycle or in the final condition, an increase of 99.42% from the initial condition.

Abstract

Starting from the author observing the behavior of adolescents nowadays, their behavior is increasingly deteriorating. Such as the increase in promiscuity, crimes against others, cheating habits, abuse of drugs, pornography, and others. Based on the researchers' observations and some of the information obtained, there were some students who were impolite in their words and actions towards fellow students, teachers, and parents. Cheating, breaking the rules was also done by some of the students at SMK Bethel Petamburan, Central Jakarta. This is a deviant action to continue to be applied because it will form character in students. For this reason, the authors conducted research with an indication that character education at SMK Bethel Petamburan, Central Jakarta, has not been maximally implemented to form student character, so there are still students who show bad character. And with the title: The Impact of the Implementation of Character Education on the Character of Students at SMK Bethel Petamburan, Central Jakarta. The hypothesis proposed is to measure how much influence the implementation of character education applied by schools to the character of children at SMK Bethel Petamburan, Central Jakarta. The conclusion obtained by the author is that the effect of the implementation of character education implemented by schools on the character of students at SMK Bethel, Central Jakarta is 32.8% and the rest is influenced by other factors (namely, internal factors, external factors, and developmental factors at the age of 15-17 years).

Abstract

The Influence of Professional Competence for PAK Teachers on Learning Motivation for Class VIII Students at SMP Imanuel Victori Bekasi Jl. Bojong Nangka IV / 45 Jatirahayu Pondok Melati, East Jakarta. In this thesis the researcher uses the rationale and theories that refer to related literature books, especially books on teacher education and professionalism, and from scientific theories in analyzing data, to determine the sample using the Nonprobability Sampling technique. Nonprobability Sampling is a sampling technique that does not provide equal opportunities/opportunities for every element or member of the population to be sampled. Therefore the population was used as the sample, so the research sample was 35 students who filled out the questionnaire. The results showed that the Effect of PAK Teacher Professional Competence on Student Motivation Class VIII at SMP Imanuel Victori Bekasi Jl. Bojong Nangka IV / 45 Jatirahayu Pondok Melati, East Jakarta, is strong at 37.3% and the remaining 62.7% is determined by other variables not explained by the researcher.

Abstract

This study aims to test, determine, and analyze empirically about increasing the spiritual growth of students through PAK learning at SMPN 122 North Jakarta. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an effect of PAK learning on the spiritual growth of students at SMPN 122 North Jakarta? The study population was 35 students of SMPN 122 North Jakarta. The research sample was 30 people, taken using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. The construction validity approach was carried out with orthogonal interactions twice and the calculation of the reliability coefficient was carried out using the Cronbach Alpha formula. The hypothesis proposed is that it should be assumed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the effect of PAK Learning on the Spiritual Growth of Students at SMPN 122 North Jakarta. From the analysis of the hypothesis test for variable x, it is concluded that PAK Learning is 65.4%, which means that the level of influence of PAK Learning is very strong. The results of the data analysis show that the effect of PAK Learning on Student Spiritual Growth is 65.4% with very strong variable interpretation at the significance level of 0, 05. This shows that the effect of PAK Learning on the Spiritual Growth of Students at SMPN 122 North Jakarta contributed 0.65.4% or 65.4% and the remaining 34.6% was influenced by other variables which in this study were not examined. The conclusion obtained by the researcher is that "The Effect of PAK Learning has a positive influence on the Spirituality of Students at SMPN 122 North Jakarta.

Abstract

Children's interest in Sunday School worship is a spirit that must be internalized in all things. Many factors cause children to want to come to worship. Starting from a good room, lots of props, and teacher creativity. One influence that needs special attention is the teacher's way of telling stories in teaching. This article analyzes the influence of Sunday School teachers' creativity in telling stories on children's interest in worshiping at Indonesian Bethel Children aged 8-12 years. The research method used is quantitative, with a data collection model through surveys. The hypothesis is that there is an influence between the creativity of Sunday School teachers in telling stories on the interest of ABI children aged 8-12 years at GBI Petamburan. So from the hypothesis testing analysis, it was concluded that there was a low influence between the creativity of Sunday school teachers in telling stories on the interest of ABI children aged 8-12 years in worship at GBI Petamburan with a strong relationship between this variable of 0.251. Moreover, the contribution to children's interest in worship is only 6.3%, and the remaining 93.7% is determined by other variables that were not used as variables in this research. Thus, the influence of Sunday school teachers' creativity in telling stories on the interest of ABI children aged 8-12 years at GBI Petamburan is low.

Abstract

Children's spirituality is an important thing that must receive more attention from parents. This value must be instilled in children from an early age because the child's spiritual development will determine his relationship with God and others. Christian spirituality refers to a spiritual life led by the Holy Spirit to trust and love Jesus Christ in one's life increasingly. This research aims to internalize Christian religious values in students. The research method we use is a descriptive qualitative analysis method, with the instrument being a questionnaire created using Google Forms. Our research concluded that Christian religious education can influence the spiritual development of high school students in the millennial era. When teaching, teachers must remind them about how good God is and how miracles He has given so that they can feel calm and peaceful in facing all obstacles because God is always with them and strengthens their hearts in carrying out all the problems they face. However, some still feel that Christian religious education does not affect the development of spirituality because technology is increasingly advanced, so what God wants is not following their wishes, so they decide to stay away from it. Some of the material provided is increasingly difficult, so high school students need help understanding it. The hope is that this article can guide Christian Religious Education teachers who will teach so that they always experience improvisation in their teaching.

Abstract

The leadership of Moses has given many examples that today's believers should emulate, especially teachers of Christian education. His loyal attitude in leading God's sheep out of Egypt to the promised land has marked him that he deserves to be a role model. Thus Christian teachers are encouraged to be able to have a soul that is so loyal in teaching students to know the truth. The method used by the author in writing this article is a qualitative method, namely library research. The author's conclusion about the significance of Moses' leadership on Christian religious education teachers in teaching is that today's Christian teachers want to have an attitude of loyalty, obedience, honesty, and intimacy to God in teaching and patience with the various pressures they face, just like Moses when he led God's people came out of Egypt to the promised land.

Abstract

The pre-adolescent period is known as the teenage years and is usually referred to as the beginning of puberty. Many problems occur at this age, both in physical and mental development. One is that children are rebellious, challenging to manage, have no self-confidence, feel embarrassed about their appearance, get bored quickly, and so on. Of course, this is an obstacle for predominantly Christian religious education teachers in teaching students at this age. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze appropriate teaching methods to be applied by Christian Religious Education teachers for students at the pre-adolescent level. The method used is descriptive qualitative to provide an overview and answers to existing problems. The research results show that a teacher must teach by (i) conditioning the child's psychological needs, (ii) mentoring and disciplining children, (iii) providing a living example, and (iv) being a good motivator and listener for children.
