Abstract

Social forestry has been implemented for decades in Indonesia to escalate society’s welfare. In particular, it is designed to grow the economy of forest-surrounded village societies by utilizing forest natural resources in specific schemes such as Village Forest. Government Regulation No.6/2007 regarding Forest Management and Preparation of Forest Management Plans and Forest Utilization regulated that Village Forest is manageable by villages and exploitable for village welfare. The Job Creation Law (JCL) enactment now recognizes the existence of social forestry under Article 26 para (2) JCL. It is grounded in the notion that social forestry potentially supports the national investment climate and national SDGs Agenda, particularly the scheme of village forest utilization, as village governances contribute to more than 90% of national power. Based on that notion, the government introduced the SDGs Village Agenda, which is expected to contribute to most national targets. Applying normative legal research as the primary method with the empirical and conceptual approach, it is discovered that the well-utilization of village forests has escalated the IDM level, which also represents SDG’s Desa Agenda. The discussion covers the authority of the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in utilizing village forest post-JCL, the ways of utilization, and the success story of villages – learning from Labbo Village, Bantaeng. Indeed, using the village forest supports the escalation of IDM Level and SDGS Agenda achievement.

Abstract

The Adiwiyata program is a place for schools to learn and raise awareness for educators, education staff, students, and the community around schools to protect the environment and encourage sustainable development. So that it can create a school that is environmentally friendly and cultured. The Adiwiyata program itself has been implemented by the Ministry of Environment and continues by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry which aims to create schools that care and are environmentally cultured through activities of coaching, assessing, and awarding Adiwiyata to schools. The guidelines for implementing the Adiwiyata program are regulated in the Minister of Environment Regulation Number 5 of 2013. In line with the Adiwiyata program, SDN Nglumber II, located in Kepohbaru District, Bojonegoro Regency, has the goal of becoming an Adiwiyata School. Although schools have great potential, to achieve this, many things need to be prepared. This service aims to provide socialization and assistance to increase environmental knowledge to school residents, especially students before Adiwiyata activities will resume. It is intended that the Adiwiyata activities will be successful and sustainable so that the objectives of the Adiwiyata program can be achieved. The process of a series of ABDIMAS activities starts from the preparation stage, namely situation analysis, then continues with Forum Group Discussion (FGD) in small groups after which counseling is carried out. With the implementation of this service activity, teacher knowledge about the school environment to support the implementation of the Adiwiyata program increases. The knowledge and skills that have been possessed are expected to be transmitted and become an example for elementary schools around the City of Bojonegoro for the realization of Adiwiyata schools.

Abstract

Environmental health has the aim of realizing a healthy environmental quality, both physical, chemical, biological, and social that allows everyone to achieve the highest degree of health. The problem of increasing waste has become a major issue in addition to the large number of Indonesian people who have been exposed to COVID-19. Masks are the biggest source of waste today, proper mask waste management will certainly have a good impact on the environment. Disposable medical mask waste in the community is generally thrown away without any effort to separate household waste and medical waste to the Final Disposal Site (TPA). Disposable medical mask waste management, especially in the community, requires environmental rehabilitation for a sustainable and environmentally friendly living environment. Based on these facts, it is necessary to conduct a study on how to regulate Covid-19 medical mask waste, especially those produced by households, and be studied from the perspective of the environmental health law. The research method used is included in the realm of non-doctrinal legal research because the object studied in addition to the law in a normative concept is also the law in an empirical concept. The approach chosen in this study is empirical juridical. The results of this study indicate that B3 waste management, especially disposable medical masks in providing environmental health protection can be carried out in the form of medical waste management, especially B3 types with gravity flow type Autoclave procedures, increasing public awareness to separate or destroy medical mask waste, Accelerate the availability of facilities Medical waste management throughout Indonesia and Issuing Regional Regulations related to Covid-19 medical waste disposal regulations.

Abstract

AI development and its ever-growing practical use require changes in legal regulation, such as the need to restructure the legal system. Due to the absence of guidance concerning AI’s behavior from legislation, lawmakers must review the existing legal framework and adapt it to the changing needs of society. As an example, In Europe, in 2012, the European Commission initiated a RoboLaw Project with the main objective of investigating how emerging technologies in the field of bio-robotics (including AI) bear on the national and European legal systems. Then how about Indonesia? the discussions about AI and its influence on the law in Indonesia have not developed yet. It is also clear that Indonesia does not have any legal rules that discuss the existence of these smart robots. Therefore, there is an urgency to respond to the development of new technology in the world (especially in Indonesia) and to know the progress that has been made by other countries in welcoming the era of artificial intelligence. The result revealed that the governments in all-round the world faced similar challenges in conceptualizing criminal liability for AI crimes. They decided to focus on making legal policy regarding AI which can monitor the safety and fairness of AI, and adapt regulatory frameworks to encourage innovation while protecting the public

Abstract

Financial sector investment is an activity that attracts a lot of public interest. One of them is investing funds in purchasing the company’s shares. Profit received from stock investment activity can be seen from the value of stock returns. While, if the previous stock returns to Normal distribution, the future stock price can be predicted by Geometric Brownian Motion Method. Based on the stock price prediction, can also be measured an estimated value of the investment risk. The result of data processing shows that the stock price prediction of PT. Ciputra Development Tbk period December 1, 2016, until January 31, 2017, has very good accuracy, based on the value of MAPE 1.98191%. Further, the Value Risk Method of Monte Carlo Simulation with ? = 5% significance level was used to measure the share investment risk of PT.Ciputra Development Tbk. Thus, this method is only useful if it can be used to predict accurately. Therefore, backtesting is needed. Based on the processing obtained data, backtesting generates the value of violation ratio at 0, it means that at significance level ? = 5%, the Value at Risk Method of Monte Carlo Simulation can be used at all levels of probability violation.
