JFACE: Journal of Family, Adult, and Early Childhood Education terbit empat kali setahun pada Februari, Mei, Agustus, dan November. JFACE: Journal of Family, Adult, and Early Childhood Education memuat artikel-artikel hasil penelitian dan/atau kajian analitis-kritis di bidang pendidikan keluarga, pendidikan orang dewasa, dan pendidikan anak usia dini dalam lingkup pendidikan formal dan pendidikan nonformal. Spesifikasi kajian ditujukan untuk mengeksplorasi, mengembangkan, dan menjelaskan pengetahuan tentang sejarah, filosofi, prinsip-prinsip, kebijakan, desain, dan teknologi yang digunakan dan dikembangkan dalam kajian pendidikan. JFACE: Journal of Family, Adult, and Early Childhood Education berperan dan berpartisipasi dalam upaya mendukung kelestarian tradisi ilmiah yang bersumber dari telaah teoritis para peneliti dan pengalaman praksis para praktisi pendidikan.

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini ialah tingginya hasil belajar warga belajar program kesetaraan Paket C di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Sepakat Bersama Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung, ini diduga karena tingginya aspirasi belajar warga belajar program Paket C di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Sepakat Bersama Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menggambarkan (1) aspirasi warga belajar program Paket C ditinjau melalui aspek cita-cita, (2) aspirasi warga belajar program Paket C ditinjau melalui aspek hasrat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, dan (3) aspirasi warga belajar program Paket C ditinjau melalui aspek ketetapan hati di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Sepakat Bersama Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif merupakan jenis penelitian ini. Popolasi pada penelitian ini ialah warga belajar program Paket C di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Sepakat Bersama Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung sejumlah 27 orang. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 60 % dari populasi sejumlah 16 orang. Teknik penarikan sampel ialah Cluster Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik penggunaan angket serta alat mengumpulkan datanya ialah kuisioner. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan rumus persentase sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwasanya (1) aspirasi warga belajar program Paket C ditinjau melalui aspek cita-cita tinggi, (2) aspirasi warga belajar program Paket C ditinjau melalui aspek hasrat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran tinggi, dan (3) aspirasi warga belajar program paket C ditinjau melalui aspek ketetapan hati tinggi. Disarankan warga belajar program Paket C, untuk selalu mempertahankan serta meningkatkan aspirasi belajar dalam mengikuti pembelajaran supaya memperoleh hasil belajar yang lebih baik lagi

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kesadaran ibu balita dalam mengikuti kegiatan posyandu Melati Suci V di Nagari Toboh Ketek Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Hal ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya pemahaman ibu balita tentang posyandu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran pemahaman ibu balita tentang posyandu, gambaran kesadaran ibu balita dalam mengikuti kegiatan posyandu, dan melihat hubungan antara pemahaman ibu balita tentang posyandu dengan kesadaran dalam mengikuti kegiatan posyandu Melati Suci di Nagari Toboh Ketek Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu-ibu balita yang terdaftar di Posyandu Melati Suci V di Nagari Toboh Ketek Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang berjumlah 25 orang. Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu berjumlah 25 orang. Maka untuk menetapkan responden digunakan metode sensus, dimana seluruh populasinya dijadikan sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket Sedangkan alat pengumpulan data dalam dalam penetian ini adalah pedoman kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase dan Rank Order.Temuan peneltian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) pemahaman ibu balita tentang posyandu masih rendah, (2) kesadaran ibu balita dalam mengikuti kegiatan posyandu dikategorikan masih rendah, dan (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pemahaman ibu balita tentang posyandu dengan kesadaran dalam mengikuti kegiatan posyandu Melati Suci V di Nagari Toboh Ketek Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Diharapkan kepada kader posyandu agar dapat meningkatkan pelayanan pada kegiatan posyandu serta diberikan arahan bahwa datang ke posyandu itu penting bagi kesehatan anak. Selanjutnya diharapkan juga kepada Dinas Kesehatan agar dapat memberikan binaan kepada kader dan ibu balita mengenai pentingnya memberikan pemahaman kepada sasaran posyandu. Dan diharapkan kepada peneliti lain agar dapat mencari variabel lain yang berpengaruh terhadap kesadaran

This research is based on the knitting learning program plan at PKBM Farilla Ilmi. This is evidenced by the completeness of learning suggestions, getting the interest of learning citizens, the attention of learning citizens and the implementation of good learning activities. The purpose of this study is to discuss the implementation of learning to knit in PKBM Farilla Ilmi based on methods, materials, media and evaluation. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study replaced 20 people and a sample of 10 people who were determined based on the saturation sampling method. The technique of collecting data uses questionnaires and data analysis uses percentage formulas. The results of this study indicate that: The method of implementing learning is categorized very well, learning material is categorized very well, learning media are categorized very well and learning is categorized very well. The suggestion from this research is that the organization can maintain and improve the implementation of learning for the better.

This research is motivated by the success of members in opening a business in the Permodalan Nasional Madani Program Mekaar in Berok Siteba Kota Padang. The researcher suspects that the high success achieved by the training members, is influenced by the high level of guidance provided by the program's facilitator to the training members in knitting the PNM program mekaar in Berok Siteba Kota Padang. This can be seen from the guidance given in guiding, developing and supervising the knitting training members. This study aims to describe the guidance given by program facilitators to PNM members of the Mekaar Program in Berok Siteba. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were 20 members of the PNM Program Knitting Training. The sampling technique used was a census, all populations were sampled 20 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire in the form of a Likert Scale. While the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. From the results of the study it was found that: (1) the coaching provided by the program assistant in the aspect of guidance was categorized as good, (2) the coaching provided by the program facilitator in the development aspect was categorized as good, (3) the coaching provided by the program facilitator in the supervision aspect was categorized as good. Based on the results of the study it is recommended that members of the PNM knitting training program can always bring changes to a better direction and can give examples to new members who join the program in opening a business and to program companions can always foster members well and continue to motivate members in developing knowledge, attitude and skills

This research is motivated by the low consensual type of family communication patterns in families in early childhood education of the fostered non-formal education unit in the learning activities area of Padang City. This is mainly due to the modesty of language that is not well applied by parents. This study aims to improve the pattern of consensual type family communication with the child's language politeness. This type of research is quantitative correlational with the population is the parents of students enrolled in early childhood education of the fostered non-formal education unit in the learning activities area of the city of Padang, amounting to 43 people. Sampling using stratified random sampling technique. The research sample was taken as many as 75%, totaling 33 people. Data collection using questionnaire techniques, while data collection tools use questionnaires in the form of statement items, and analyzed using percentages and product moments. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the consensual type of family communication patterns are categorized as unsatisfactory, (2) the politeness of children's language in early childhood education The fostered non-formal education unit in learning activities in Region 1 of Padang is categorized as impolite, and there is a relationship which is significant between consensual type family communication patterns with the politeness of children's language in early childhood education of the fostered non-formal education unit in the learning activities area of Padang City. Language is a stage of children’s development which is expreased through thinking using word that mark the increased ability of creativity in accordance with the stage of development. The purpose of this research is to improve children’s pre-reading skills throught the use of household waste (packs/packages) in group A primagama padang kindergarten. This type of research is classroom action techniques are through observation while the analysis technique used is percentage. The results of research in primagama padang creative kindergartens that the child’s ability to increase from each meeting, can be seen from the average in the first cycle 42,19% increased in the second cycle to 84,37% by applying the packaging media in children’s reading ability

The aim of this research is to increase for knowing letters in a child trought a play of fishing some illustrated letters in TK Aisyiyah 5 Padang, in order to the child can mention a first letters of vocal and consonant, arrange some letters to be a word, read a word, and imatate writing. Type of the research is a class action research by using quantitative method. Based on the data obtained from the result of the research in improving the ability to recognize letters throught a play of fishing some illustrated letters has not reached the criteria of minium exhaustiveness yet, so thet the research is continued to the cycle II. Masalah penelitian ini melihat keterkaitan antara status sosial ekonomi dengan motavisi kerja bagi ibu rumah tangga di Usaha Kerupuk Cabe Onang Kelurahan Anduring Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang. Penelitian ini mengunakan jenis kuantitatif korelasional dengan populasi berjumlah 21 orang yaitu orang ibu rumah tangga di usaha kerupuk cabe onang Kelurahan Anduring Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sensus, yang terdiridari 21 orang ibu rumah tangga. Kemudian data dianalisis mengunakan Koefisien Korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan terdapatnya hubungan yang signifikan antara status sosial ekonomi dengan motivasi kerja bagi ibu rumah tangga di Usaha Kerupuk Cabe Onang Kelurahan Anduring Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang .Diperolehthit= 2,69>ttab = 1,73 pada tara fsignifikansi α = 0,05. Dengan itu, Ha yang menyatakan terdapatnya hubungan yang signifikan antara status social ekonomi terhadap motivasi kerja rumah tangga di usaha kerupuk cabe onang Kelurahan Anduring Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang diterima, konsekuensinya H0 ditolak.

This research is motivated by the low ability of children to recognize the concept of numbers, it is seen that in doing the tasks the child is still confused when grouping objects according to their numbers, and spelling out a number 1-10 is still irregular. The purpose of this study is to improve children's ability to recognize the concept of numbers through numbers card games. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). Subjects for early childhood research group B totaled 15 children, consisting of 9 boys and 6 girls. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle having three meetings. Data collection techniques are observation and documentation and assessment results are processed using percentage techniques. The results showed during initial conditions, the value developed very well (BSB) the average percentage was 2.3%. In cycle I from meetings 1 to 3 the average percentage value increased to 9%, 15.3% and 22.3% but have not yet reached the KKM. In the second cycle of meetings 1 to 3 an increase was made because the numeric card game strategy was more attractive to children, this was evidenced by the average percentage values of 40%, 62% and 89% that had reached the KKM. It can be concluded that the number card game can improve the ability of children to recognize the concept of numbers in kindergarten Plus Ridhotullah Ulu Gadut Padang.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah upaya meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi anak dalam kegiatan bermain, dalam menindak lanjuti kecerdasan emosi yang dimunculkan dari kebiasaan dan keseringannya untuk memanfaatkan situasi dan kondisi diri secara wajar. Emosi anak 5-6 tahun dalam pengelolaannya tersebut merupakan pematangan pada tahap perkembangannya, dimana peralihan anak pra operasional ke masa yang lebih konkrit. Munculnya intensitas emosi positif melalui stimulus melalui bermain mampu mempersiapkan anak dalam pertahanan diri dan bertindak dalam persoalan, yang diluapkan emosi secara wajar atau wajar. Untuk keberhasilan disegala aspek perkembangannya baik jasmani maupun rohani secara berkesinambungan yang berlangsung seumur hidup.
