Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sarapan pagi dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar dan mengendalikan berat badan pada remaja di SMAN 14 Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan penyebaran kuesioner daring kepada 40 siswa/i anggota Palang Merah Remaja (PMR) kelas X–XII yang dipilih secara purposive. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi frekuensi sarapan, alasan dan dampaknya, serta Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) berdasarkan tinggi dan berat badan yang diisi oleh responden. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden rutin sarapan dan merasa lebih berkonsentrasi setelahnya. Sebagian kecil tidak sarapan karena tidak terbiasa atau mengalami gangguan pencernaan. Mayoritas responden memiliki status gizi normal. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa sarapan pagi berpengaruh positif dalam membantu remaja meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar dan menjaga berat badan dalam kategori normal.

Abstract

Status gizi adalah keadaan yang diakibatkan oleh keseimbangan antara asupan zat gizi dari makanan dengan kebutuhan zat gizi yang diperlukan untuk metabolisme tubuh. Status gizi yang baik akan mempengaruhi proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, salah satunya dapat meningkatkan kemampuan intelektual yang akan berdampak pada prestasi belajar di sekolah Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola konsumsi dan status gizi anak usia sekolah (10-13 tahun)kelas 5 SD di SD Pulosari 2 Kabupaten Brebes. Sample yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 26 siswa berdasarkan antopometri dan pola hidup. Status gizi anak sekolah ditentukan menurut IMT/Umur. Prevalensi gizi kurang (kurus) di siswa kelas 5 usia sekolah 10-13 tahun di sd N2 Pulosari sebesar 57,7% Dan status gizi normal 38,5% untuk overweight sebesar 3,8%. Siswa yang memiliki jamban 76,1 %, dan yang tidak memiliki jamban 23,9% .Mencuci tangan sebelum makan 71,7%, yang jarang melakukan mencuci tangan sebesar 19,5% dan yang tidak 8,7%. siswa yang memiliki pola makan frekuensi makan sehari 5-7 kali 39,1%, kemudian frekuensi sarapan pagi 3-4 kali sebesar 32,6% dan yang melakukan 1-2 kali sekitar 28,7%, yang sarapan pagi 63,0%, biasa makan jajanan 84,8%, biasa makan sayur 32,6%, biasa makan buah 69,6% biasa makan lauk 56,5%, dan biasa minum susu 63,0%. Prevalensi gizi kurang (kurus) pada anak sekolah di 2 Pulosari cukup tinggi sementara kejadian gizi lebih Selain itu pola konsumsi anak sudah baik dilihat dari frekuensi dan unsur gizi makanan yang dikonsumsi.

Abstract

Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) is an acute renal disorder associated with serious complications, including anemia gravis and malnutrition, leading to increased mortality rate. Comprehensive management, including appropriate nutritional therapy, are crucial to prevent clinical deterioration in AKI patient with complication. This case study aims to demonstrate the implementation of a nutrition care process (NCP) to improve nutritional status and support medical treatment. Conducted in February 2025 on patient at dr. Soedirman Hospital, Kebumen, the study involved assessment including anthropometric measurements, biochemical analysis, clinical examination, and dietary intake evaluation. Nutrition diagnoses identified inadequate oral intake, decreased protein needs, and food-and nutrition- related knowledge deficit. The patient received a low protein low purine diet (1.725,71 kcal and 39,45 grams protein) along with nutritional education. The intervention achieved oral intake improvement (>80% adequacy, increased hemoglobin levels, and clinical symptom improvement (appetite, weakness, and paresthesia). All monitoring and evaluation parameters confirmed the intervention met its target.

Abstract

Backgroud: Pregnant women with nutritional and health problems impact the health and safety of both the mother and the baby, as well as the quality of the baby born. The condition of pregnant women with KEK is at risk of reducing muscle strength that helps the birth process, which can result in fetal death (miscarriage), premature birth, birth defects, Low Birth Weight (LBW) and even infant death. Pregnant women with KEK can interfere with fetal growth and development, namely physical growth (stunting), brain and metabolism, which can cause non-communicable diseases in adulthood. The prevalence of KEK pregnant women in the Kemurang Wetan Community Health Center area is higher at 18.67% compared to the district level prevalence of only 11.94%. Therefore, in 2024 to improve the nutritional status of pregnant women with KEK, a program will be implemented to provide PMT to pregnant women. Objective: To analyze the provision of additional food on changes in body weight and LILA of KEK pregnant women in the Kemurang Wetan Community Health Center work area. Methods:This study used a descriptive analytical study with a cohort design. Descriptive analytical research analyzes the relationship between independent and dependent variables. Researchers analyzed the provision of supplementary feeding with changes in body weight and MUAC in pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (CED) in the Kemurang Wetan Community Health Center working area using primary data. The study sample consisted of all pregnant women with CED in the first and second trimesters in February 2025. The results: In the body weight variable before and after PMT, the p value was obtained = 0.00, p <α with a paired t-test, meaning Ha was accepted. And in the LILA variable before and after PMT, the p value was obtained = 0.00, p <α with the Wilcoxon test, so Ha was also accepted. Conclusion: There is a difference between the body weight and LILA of KEK pregnant women before and after giving additional food. Abstract

Undernutrition among toddlers remains a major public health concern in Indonesia. At the Caringin Health Center in Bandung City, the prevalence of undernourished children increased from 3.4% in 2024 to 4.2% in 2025. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between household food security and hygiene-sanitation with undernutrition in children under five. A quantitative case-control design was used, involving 100 children (50 cases and 50 controls) selected through non-proportional stratified sampling. Data were collected using the HFSSM and STBM questionnaires, along with anthropometric measurements based on WHO standards. The results showed that 78% of undernourished children came from food-insecure households and 70% lived in poor sanitation environments. Statistical tests revealed significant associations between food security (p=0.000; OR=6.222) and hygiene-sanitation (p=0.000; OR=9.333) and the nutritional status of children. It can be concluded that adequate food security and sanitation play a crucial role in preventing undernutrition among toddlers.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Anemia merupakan masalah kesehatan yang sering terjadi pada remaja putri dan masih menjadi masalah kesehatan global yang signifikan dan perlu diperhatikan. Anemia disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya minimnya pengetahuan tentang anemia dan asupan zat besi yang kurang. Gejala yang diakibatkan dari anemia seperti lelah, pucat, pusing, mengalami jaundice (kulit dan mata menjadi kuning), detak jantung berdebar lebih cepat, sesak nafas, sindrom kaki gelisah hingga kaki dan tangan bengkak apabila mengalami anemia berat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan anemia dan kecukupan asupan zat besi (Fe) dengan anemia pada remaja putri di SMP Negeri 2 Losari Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional dan bersifat kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 146 dan total sampel berjumlah 50 orang yang diambil menggunakan rumus Lemeshow dan teknik total sampling, serta berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Data diolah menggunakan analisis chi-square. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner untuk menilai pengetahuan dan asupan, serta alat cek Hb untuk menilai anemia.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pengatahuan anemia dengan anemia pasa remaja putri di SMP Negeri 2 Losari Brebes (p=0,266), serta tidak ada hubungan antara kecukupan asupan zat besi dengan anemia pasa remaja putri di SMP Negeri 2 Losari Brebes (p=254). Kata kunci: Anemia, Pengetahuan, Zat Besi, Pola Makan ABSTRACT Anemia is a health problem that frequently occurs in adolescent girls and remains a significant global health issue that requires attention. Anemia is caused by several factors, one of which is a lack of knowledge about anemia and insufficient iron intake. Symptoms associated with anemia include fatigue, pallor, dizziness, jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes), rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, restless legs syndrome, and swelling of the feet and hands in cases of severe anemia. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about anemia and the adequacy of iron (Fe) intake with anemia among adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 2 Losari, Brebes Regency. This study employs a cross-sectional approach and is quantitative in nature. The population in this study comprises 146 individuals, with a total sample of 50 taken using the Lemeshow formula and total sampling technique, as well as based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data was processed using chi-square analysis. Data collection was done using a questionnaire to assess knowledge and intake, as well as a Hb check tool to assess anemia. The results of the study showed no relationship between the level of knowledge about anemia and anemia in adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 2 Losari Brebes (p=0.266), and there was no relationship between the adequacy of iron intake and anemia in adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 2 Losari Brebes (p=0.254). Abstract

Wasting is a form of malnutrition reflected in a child's weight being too low for their height. Wasting is caused by several factors, including direct and indirect causes. First, direct causes are dietary intake or infection, or a combination of both. One effective approach to addressing malnutrition in toddlers is to provide nutrient-rich supplementary foods. Compliance with the consumption of local supplementary foods is considered a determining factor in the success of nutritional interventions. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between compliance with local supplementary foods (PMT) and the nutritional status of wasted toddlers. This study was conducted in the Bulakamba Community Health Center (Puskesmas) area of Brebes Regency. This was a quantitative observational study with a cross-sectional design. Most (63.7%) of wasted toddlers who were given local supplementary foods were compliant with their supplementary foods, while 36.3% were non-compliant. Most (60%) of wasted toddlers experienced an improvement in their nutritional status to normal, while 40% of wasted toddlers did not experience any improvement in their nutritional status. The results of the chi-square test on the variable level of compliance with nutritional status obtained a p value <0.05 (p = 0.037). There is a significant relationship between the level of compliance with local supplementary food consumption and the nutritional status of wasting toddlers.
