Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to tackle the challenge of boredom and weariness among residents in rehabilitation due to monotonous routines. It emphasizes the importance of psychosocial support to enhance engagement and emotional well-being during rehabilitation. Method: Employing a Social Group Work framework, the study involves stages like Preparation, Assessment, Program Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. Qualitative data from residents' responses is analyzed to gauge the intervention's effectiveness. Practical Applications: This research informs rehabilitation practices by advocating positive activities and motivation to improve residents' experiences and emotional states. Tailored interventions can alleviate boredom and facilitate successful reintegration. Conclusion: This study improves rehabilitation outcomes by addressing boredom through psychosocial support. The Social Group Work approach effectively counters boredom and promotes positive emotions, enriching rehabilitation programs.

Abstract

Purpose: This research paper aims to introduce a solar power plant in Kalandrina Selosia's residential area, addressing local energy needs sustainably. The study's significance lies in offering a renewable energy solution within a community context. Method: The research used experimental and descriptive methods to measure solar panel output and intensity alongside assessing electrical installations. Analytical techniques evaluated the system's functionality. Practical Applications: The designed 50-watt solar power plant showcases the feasibility of local solar energy generation. Its potential to reduce costs and environmental impact holds practical implications for communities lacking conventional power sources. Conclusion: This study successfully demonstrates solar power's viability in Kalandrina Selosia. The project contributes practical insight into renewable energy adoption, benefiting the community and broader understanding.

Abstract

Purpose: This study enhances sustainable agricultural practices by addressing straw waste management issues in Mergosingo Hamlet, Jatirejoyoso village. The aim is to promote the utilization of straw as an organic fertilizer and highlight its relevance within the agricultural sector. Method: Using a qualitative approach, we conducted a one-day educational program for Mergosingo's farming community. Data collected from instructional sessions and discussions were analyzed to explore the adoption of straw as an organic fertilizer for sustainable land management. Practical Applications: This research benefits farmers, practitioners, and policymakers by offering a solution to curb environmental pollution from conventional waste practices. Embracing straw as organic fertilizer could increase crop yields, reduce environmental impact, and improve soil health. Conclusion: This study addresses straw waste and the transition to sustainable agricultural practices. The advocacy for straw's use as organic fertilizer contributes practical insights, advancing agricultural sustainability and environmental awareness.

Abstract

Purpose: This research paper aims to investigate enhancing community capacity in managing the Cetho Tourist Destination in Gumeng Jenawi Village, Karanganyar, Central Java. It highlights the significance of this research in fostering tourism development within the region. Method: The study employed a comprehensive research methodology, which involved field visits, observation, discussions, and documentation. Various cultural symbols of Javanese culture were utilized, and a Focus Group Discussion was conducted with 15 stakeholders involved in Gumeng Tourism Village management. Data analysis was carried out using the SWOT analysis method to guide the development of the tourism village. Practical Applications: The findings of this study have practical implications for the tourism industry and community development in the Gumeng Jenawi Village area. They can be applied to enhance the attraction and visitor numbers while extending their length of stay, ultimately benefiting the local economy and the tourism sector. Conclusion: In conclusion, this research emphasizes the importance of strengthening community capacity for the sustainable management of tourist destinations. The study's results contribute to a broader understanding of improving tourist attractions and their potential impact on local communities and the tourism industry.

Abstract

Purpose: This research explores revitalization, focusing on the transformation of an idle guardhouse in the Wisma Permai Mulyorejo Surabaya housing complex into a functional community security asset. It underscores the importance of such projects in community security and urban planning. Method: The study employs the ANSOS (Assessment, Needs Analysis, Solution, Output, and Sustainability) method to guide the revitalization process of the guardhouse in RT 04. This methodology encompasses various stages, including comprehensive field surveys, interviews, questionnaires, the development of alternative guardhouse designs, and the facilitation of Forum Discussion Groups (FGD). Practical Applications: Successful revitalization can enhance security and generate economic value by repurposing the guardhouse. The findings inform urban planning and community development. Conclusion: This research aims to revitalize the dormant guardhouse in Wisma Permai, creating a functional community security hub. The results offer improved security and economic benefits, contributing to urban development knowledge.

Abstract

Purpose: The development of ornamental fish feed technology plays a crucial role in ensuring the long-term viability of fisheries in Trenceng Village, Sumbergempol, and Tulungagung Regency. The objective is to develop alternative technology for manufacturing fish feed that may effectively reduce production expenses and fulfil the requirements of ornamental fish growers. Method: The approach promotes self-sufficiency among ornamental fish producers in producing fish feed. This is done in response to the declining pricing of ornamental fish and the comparatively high feed cost. Practical Applications: This technology's practical application is to create food self-sufficiency for ornamental fish farmers in terms of ease of price access and physical. Conclusion: Ornamental fish farmers are anticipated to benefit from implementing alternative fish feed technologies, as it will assist them in managing volatility and reductions in product revenue. Therefore, this technology can enhance the sustainability of fisheries in Trenceng Village, Sumbergempol, and Tulungagung Regency.

Abstract

Purpose: This research project aims to address operational challenges faced by Setia SME, which specializes in spice sales. Specifically, we aim to design a spice-grinding machine to enhance processing efficiency. Method: We conducted a comprehensive analysis of Setia SME's challenges and formulated a research design that included machine development. Data collection involved surveys, interviews, and on-site observations, analyzed for feasibility. Practical Applications: The successful implementation of the spice grinding machine will boost Setia SME's operational efficiency by eliminating off-site grinding, reducing costs, and increasing production capacity. The technology may benefit other SMEs in the spice industry. Conclusion: This research offers practical solutions to Setia SME's spice processing challenges, demonstrating the value of innovation and technology for SMEs in improving efficiency and sustainability.

Abstract

Purpose: This research paper explores the success of PT BPR Restu Artha Makmur, a rural bank founded in Semarang City in September 2003. It focuses on the bank's recognition as the Best Rural Bank in Indonesia for assets ranging from Rp 100 billion to Rp 500 billion by Infobank magazine in March 2013 and its Sixth Best Rural Bank ranking in the same category in June 2014. The study highlights the role of leadership in transforming the bank from a profit-centric institution to one emphasizing financial sustainability, social responsibility, and environmental consciousness. Method: This descriptive case study uses publicly available data, avoiding analytical techniques. Practical Applications: PT BPR Restu Artha Makmur's success story serves as a model for financial institutions aiming to adopt sustainable finance, social responsibility, and environmental awareness. It demonstrates the benefits of such a transformation, offering inspiration for banks looking to integrate green practices and leadership into their operations. Purpose: This research focuses on addressing challenges in Guwosari Village by enhancing the counselling skills of village cadres and providing emotional regulation training. Method: The research utilized a community service approach to achieve its objectives. It involved training sessions to enhance the counselling skills of Guwosari Village cadres and provided emotional regulation training. Data collection methods included participant observation and pre-and post-training assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. Practical Applications: The study's outcomes benefit Guwosari Village and similar communities, aiding in community development and cadre performance. By enhancing the counselling skills of village cadres, this research contributes to the improvement of community development efforts. Conclusion: This research underscores the significance of equipping village cadres with essential counselling skills and emotional regulation abilities. Abstract

Purpose: This research paper aims to highlight the importance of enhancing the skills and abilities of librarians in managing information within the context of school libraries. The study specifically focuses on the use of SLIMS automation software for school library management, addressing the significance of this endeavor in the field of information technology. Method: A workshop conducted on September 18, 2021, provided hands-on training for librarians in SLIMS software, covering installation, circulation, and reporting. Post-workshop support was provided through a WhatsApp group. Practical Applications: This research benefits both librarians, who gain vital IT skills, and the education sector, where efficient library management leads to improved information access and operations. Conclusion: By improving librarian skills with SLIMS software, this study contributes to more effective school library management, benefiting students and educators alike.
