Abstract

Salah satu sumber pendapatan masyarakat Desa Kutajaya terutama di Dusun Babakan Banten adalah sebagai pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM). Dalam mendirikan usaha terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu diperhatikan, diantaranya aspek perizinan usaha dan aspek keuangan. Berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan di Dusun Babakan Banten terdapat para pelaku UMKM dengan prospek usaha dari yang kecil sampai besar belum memiliki dokumen perizinan dan tidak memiliki laporan laba/rugi usaha. Oleh karena itu, kami memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pentingnya perizinan usaha dan simulasinya, serta pembuatan laporan laba/rugi usaha dan simulasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan pelatihan (simulasi) kepada para pelaku UMKM dan masyarakat pada umumnya yang memiliki keinginan untuk membuka usaha. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa audiens mampu membuat akun untuk pendaftaran perizinan usaha dan melengkapi dokumen yang disyaratkan, serta mampu membuat laporan laba/rugi sebagai hasil perhitungan laba/rugi atas operasional usaha.

Abstract

Keberadaan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) merupakan bagian dari kegiatan ekonomi masyarakat yang saat ini semakin dikembangkan. Hal ini dikarenakan keberadaan UMKM sangat bermanfaat dalam mengembangkan perekonomian warga. Berdasarkan survey UMKM di Dusun Babakan Banten masih terdapat hambatan yang menjadi pelemahan eksistensi dari UMKM yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan tentang pengembangan UMKM, salah satunya cara memasarkan produk dengan baik. Dalam hal ini Penulis memberikan sosialisasi kepada warga Dusun Babakan Banten terkait pemasaran suatu produk melalui e-commerce dan iklan produk yang didasari dengan branding produk tersebut. Pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui 3 kegiatan sosialisasi dengan metode presentasi, tanya jawab, dan pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta dapat memahami dan menerapkan terkait pengembangan UMKM dengan cara memasarkan produk yang baik dan benar melalui e-commerce, iklan digital yang didasari branding produk tersebut.

Abstract

Purpose: This abstract explores the need for integrated development in the agricultural and livestock sectors of Ngenep Village, Karangploso, Malang Regency, focusing on utilizing livestock waste effectively. Method: The study details the steps to develop a system for producing organic fertilizer and animal feed from agricultural and livestock waste. It highlights the successful implementation within the "Langgeng Mulya" dairy cattle farming community, emphasizing the utilization of waste for organic fertilizer in chili and tomato cultivation. Practical Applications: The research findings showcase the positive response of local farmers to the utilization of livestock waste, addressing the scarcity of organic fertilizer, particularly for tomato and chili growers. This sustainable approach fosters self-sufficiency and offers insights into waste-to-resource strategies. Conclusion: This study underscores the importance of integrating the agricultural and livestock sectors for sustainable waste management and resource utilization. It provides valuable lessons for enhancing the efficiency of rural development programs.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service aimed to address challenges PKK members face in Sungai Pauh Pusaka Village, including a need for knitting skill training and knowledge. The goal was to empower these members with practical skills to create knitting products, enhancing their self-sufficiency and village development. Method: The project involved stages like preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Coordination with the PKK head set the schedule. Training included tools and material introduction. Satisfaction surveys gauged participant motivation. Practical Applications: The practical applications of this community service initiative are noteworthy. It has empowered PKK members with valuable knitting skills, making them more self-sufficient and capable of creating knitting products. These newfound skills can be applied in various real-world scenarios, potentially leading to economic opportunities for the participants and contributing to the development of Sungai Pauh Pusaka Village. Conclusion: The initiative achieved an 80.0% satisfaction rate, highlighting the success of University Samudra's knitting skill training in empowering PKK members and benefiting the community.

Abstract

Purpose: This research examines the impact of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) on Damarwulan Village's economic development. It explores BUMDes' significance as a village-owned legal entity managed independently with capital from local resources. Method: We employ descriptive qualitative methods, gathering data from various sources, including manuscripts, interviews, and official documents. The study focuses on BUMDes' existence, economic contributions, and factors influencing their success. An analysis follows an Interactive Model involving data reduction, presentation, and conclusions. Practical Applications: Our findings have practical implications for rural development and local governance. They inform policymakers and communities about the potential benefits and challenges of BUMDes, aiding decisions on supporting and establishing such enterprises. Conclusion: BUMDes significantly enhance Damarwulan Village's economy, offering valuable insights for rural development and governance practices, ultimately improving socio-economic conditions.

Abstract

Purpose: This research paper investigates the Community Rice Barn Program's (Lumbung Beras Rakyat) effectiveness in addressing COVID-19's impact on Palangkaraya City. It analyzes economic vulnerability and food scarcity in pandemic-affected communities. Method: his study combines qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys. Thematic analysis and statistical techniques interpret data on community needs and perceptions of the program's efficacy. Practical Applications: Valuable for policymakers and humanitarian organizations, findings inform the enhancement of pandemic response strategies. Insights promote community resilience and offer guidance for similar programs in different regions. Conclusion: The Community Rice Barn Program significantly alleviates COVID-19's repercussions on Palangkaraya's vulnerable communities. Results emphasize its positive impact on economic well-being and food security, contributing to pandemic mitigation approaches and sustainable development understanding.

Abstract

Purpose: This research addresses the educational implications of the Covid-19 pandemic, specifically the shift to remote learning. The study focuses on a community initiative providing home-based academic support to elementary students in Malanggaten Village. The significance of this research lies in understanding the challenges parents face in facilitating remote education. Method: Employing mixed methods, the research utilises surveys and interviews to explore students' and parents' challenges. Thematic coding and statistical analysis are applied for data interpretation. Practical Applications: The study offers educators, parents, and policymakers valuable insights into remote education. It suggests effective strategies for home-based learning and enhancing parental involvement, thereby improving students' academic performance. Conclusion: This research underscores the importance of community-driven initiatives, like home-based academic support, in addressing the challenges of remote education. It emphasises collaborative approaches among schools, parents, and communities for sustained and effective learning. This study contributes practical strategies for navigating educational challenges under unprecedented circumstances.

Thematic analysis reveals insights into the transition's outcomes and practical implications. Practical Applications: The study highlights how Digital Marketing adoption benefits rural communities reliant on agriculture, enhancing market reach and cost-effectiveness. The findings underscore its potential for similar sectors and geographies, aiding pandemic resilience and sustainable development. Conclusion: The research shows that Digital Marketing training empowers communities like Jatiwates, enabling adaptation to dynamic conditions and improved economic prospects. Abstract

Purpose: This research focuses on transitioning snake gourd cultivation in Pondok Babadan Village from conventional to organic methods using polybag media to enhance production quality and quantity. Method: Utilizing the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach, this study involves training on organic bitter gourd cultivation in polybag containers, emphasizing knowledge dissemination, polybag utilization, and cost-effective bitter gourd seeds. Practical Applications: Implementing organic farming techniques and polybag containers can optimize land use, reduce chemical pesticide reliance, and promote healthier vegetable production. These practices offer income potential for Pondok Babadan Village's MSMEs and support sustainable agriculture. Conclusion: Transitioning to organic snake gourd cultivation using polybag media offers improved quality, increased yield, cost savings, and eco-friendly practices. This research provides valuable insights for small-scale farmers and contributes to sustainable agriculture in the region.

Abstract

Purpose: This abstract discusses the role of healthcare volunteers in COVID-19 prevention alongside government actions like Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) at Exit Toll Leces Probolinggo. Method: The study describes the stages of restriction and prevention activities, including assemblies, checkpoints, temperature checks, and antigen swab tests, as measures to enforce health protocols and policies among the public. Practical Applications: The findings demonstrate that the public continues to adhere to health protocols and policies, such as mask-wearing, vaccination, and obtaining negative swab test results for travelers from July 12 to July 16, 2021. This underscores the importance of community engagement in combating Covid-19. Conclusion: This research underscores the valuable role of volunteers in COVID-19 prevention, alongside government efforts to implement restrictions and health protocols. The study's insights contribute to our understanding of effective pandemic management strategies.
