Abstract

Purpose: This study addresses challenges faced by Mahapraja, a Bali tourist cottage. It explores issues related to citronella cultivation, trust-building, limited land, equipment underutilization, and marketing hurdles. It is relevant for regional traditional medicine and agriculture. Method: This research uses a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative data collection (interviews, surveys, observations) with quantitative analysis (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrophotometer). Pre- and post-tests gauge knowledge enhancement during socialization activities. Practical Applications: The findings improve citronella cultivation in Mahapraja, boosting essential oil production and benefiting the cottage and traditional medicine industry. It informs marketing strategies, instilling confidence in producing and selling derivative products. Conclusion: This study highlights Mahapraja's citronella challenges, setting the stage for agricultural improvements and effective marketing. It underscores research's role in advancing regional traditional medicine and agriculture, positioning Mahapraja for success in citronella essential oil production and sales.

Abstract

Purpose: The economic conditions of Kembangbahu Village, Lamongan, East Java, were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to reestablish those conditions, particularly for the locals who work as mushroom producers. Method: Designing a more contemporary approach to promoting mushrooms and mushroom products is the way adopted. In order to assist “Sambal Jamur” MSMEs grow to use Instagram and community empowerment to spread the word about content that can do just that. Practical Applications: In the village of Kembangbahu, the establishment and growth of “Sambal Jamur” MSMEs constitute the research's practical implementation. One goal of advertising on Instagram is to raise awareness about the importance of digital media and how to use it to build a company's identity effectively. Conclusion: The residents of Kembangbahu Village are hoping that this marketing modernization will help them recover economically from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. On top of that, it may teach people how to better brand their companies through the strategic use of digital media.

Abstract

Purpose: This research paper explores the significance of enhancing financial literacy among the elderly. It focuses on a community program in Gundih Village, Surabaya, conducted in August 2022, aiming to improve the elderly's quality of life through primary financial education. Method: The study employed a comprehensive approach, including workshops and assessments to teach critical financial concepts. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and observations analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively to gauge the program's impact. Practical Applications: The study's findings have practical implications. By equipping the elderly with financial knowledge, particularly in retirement planning, savings, and loans, the program empowers them to make informed financial decisions, reducing potential burdens on their families. Conclusion: This research underscores the importance of financial literacy for the elderly. The program in Gundih Village serves as a successful model, demonstrating that improving financial knowledge enhances the elderly's financial independence, benefiting both them and their families.

Abstract

Purpose: This study addresses the challenge of low community knowledge in Kayu Manis village, aiming to boost interest and skills in duck farming. The primary objective is to elevate community understanding by applying silage technology to convert vegetable waste into duck feed. Method: Through training sessions involving socialization, practical demonstrations, and hands-on practice, participants learn to create vegetable waste silage as duck feed. Pre- and post-test evaluation reveals significant sequential improvements of 88.15%, 7.69%, and 89.23% in knowledge, interest, and skills. Practical Applications: The outcomes offer practical benefits for the community and potential scalability for similar agricultural sectors. Silage technology proves valuable in enhancing sustainable farming practices. Conclusion: In conclusion, the community-based intervention focusing on making vegetable waste silage effectively achieves its goals of enhancing participants' knowledge, interest, and skills in duck farming. The sequential increases of 88.15%, 7.69%, and 89.23% underscore the training program's success. The practical applications extend beyond Kayu Manis village, demonstrating the broader relevance and impact of implementing silage technology in agricultural practices. This research contributes significantly to addressing the initial problem outlined in the introduction, emphasizing the importance of sustainable and innovative approaches in community-based agrarian interventions.

Abstract

Purpose: This research investigates the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Cimahi City, West Java, and evaluates government efforts to support their recovery by simplifying the business legality process through the Online Single Submission Risk Based Approach (OSS-RBA) application. Method: Employing a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data on MSMEs' pandemic impact and qualitative insights into the OSS-RBA application's efficacy are collected via surveys, reports, interviews, and focus groups. The analysis involves statistical techniques and thematic analysis. Practical Applications: The study informs policymakers, stakeholders, and MSMEs on leveraging digital solutions like OSS-RBA for smoother permit acquisition. It suggests refining support mechanisms and targeted interventions to bolster the resilience of MSMEs amidst challenges. Conclusion: Government support and digital solutions like OSS-RBA are crucial for MSME recovery post-pandemic. Recommendations aim to enhance the business environment and foster sustainable local development.

Abstract

Purpose: The Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to enhance classroom learning quality for high school physics teachers in Aceh Tamiang, offering potential career advancements. Method: The PTK Assistance Workshop, a community service program, addressed the challenge of PTK development by directly engaging teachers via the Physics Subject Teachers Association (MGMP) Community. It focused on equipping teachers with skills for planning, executing, and documenting PTK reports. Practical Applications: Workshop outcomes included improved teacher proficiency in PTK implementation and potential journal article publications. Empowering teachers in PTK enhances classroom practices and supports educators' career progression. Conclusion: The workshop successfully bridged knowledge gaps among high school physics teachers, equipping them with essential skills for effective PTK implementation. This initiative not only benefits individual teachers but also promises to enhance overall classroom learning quality in the region.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to cultivate patriotism among Panggungrejo Subdistrict's millennials through technology-enabled community activities. Utilize a participatory approach, the research explores the effectiveness of organized events in fostering national pride among youths. Method: The study involves coordination between the youth organization and KKN-T Uniwara students, focusing on planning, socialization, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data collection includes meetings, task distribution, and participant engagement in competitions, with analysis emphasizing cooperation patterns. Practical Applications: The research offers insights into community development and youth engagement efforts. Understanding the impact of organized activities can inform policymakers and community leaders in designing targeted programs to promote national identity, leveraging technology for enhanced communication and participation. Conclusion: This study highlights the role of community initiatives in instilling patriotism, providing practical implications for fostering a sense of national unity among millennials through organized activities.

Purpose: This research addresses PT Kopie Humble Indonesia's suboptimal use of online marketing for product marketing, stemming from a need for workforce knowledge and skills. It highlights the importance of optimizing online delivery platforms to enhance product marketing strategies. Method: Utilizing socialization, training, and mentoring, the study seeks to improve staff insights and skills in product marketing. Through surveys, interviews, and qualitative analysis, the research evaluates current practices and identifies areas for improvement. Practical Applications: The research offers valuable insights for PT Kopie Humble Indonesia and similar firms leveraging online delivery for enhanced marketing. Companies can improve marketing effectiveness and overall business performance by investing in staff training, and recruitment focused on online delivery services. Conclusion: This study emphasizes the significance of addressing suboptimal online delivery utilization. It provides actionable steps for companies to enhance their marketing strategies and underscores the importance of adapting to digital trends for sustained competitiveness.

Purpose: This community service aims to enhance MSMEs' financial management skills in Batu Merah Village, Ambon, by providing simple accounting training. It seeks to improve their ability to maintain accurate records and prepare financial reports, addressing business management challenges effectively. Method: Training sessions on basic accounting principles will be conducted, tailored to MSMEs' needs. Socialization sessions will reinforce understanding. Data collection involves qualitative feedback on training effectiveness and perceived skill improvements. Practical Applications: Improved financial management enables informed decision-making, resource optimization, and easier access to financial services for MSMEs. This fosters their growth and sustainability.Conclusion: By addressing the need for enhanced financial literacy, this research equips MSMEs in Batu Merah Village to navigate financial challenges effectively, contributing to their long-term success and resilience in rural communities.
