Abstract

Digitalization as well as globalization disturbs the identity of this nation in general and the younger generation in particular. The impact of digitalization and globalization is like a flood that is difficult to stop. The younger generation prefers to follow a hedonic lifestyle. Society needs a generation that still has an identity. Identity as a pious Muslim. Apart from this identity, they also have good IT skills. To be a good Muslim, there is a dayah institution. To become an IT expert, there is a vocational school. Therefore, it is necessary to analysis to meet the needs of the community theoretically and philosophically regarding the two institutions. This study aims to analyze contemporary philosophical views (conservatism, liberalism, and criticism) and how to solve these problems.This research is a library research with a descriptive approach. Based on the research data, it was found that the views of schools were different. Some are compatible and some are not. Some reinforce each other, some contradict each other. From the point of view of contemporary educational philosophy, especially conservatism, liberalism, and criticism, it is necessary to have a combination or eclecticity between the two institutions. So that the demands of society can be met.

Abstract

Moral is a trait contained in the individual in actions that have positive and negative values carried out by humans. Moral improvement should be owned by every individual. However, what happened at MTsN 4 Aceh Besar was that there were several students who had bad morals in the school environment, such as labeling the teacher's name with another name, not respecting peers by body shaming against their friends and liking to mock friends' names using their parents' names. Therefore the research aims to determine the increase in student morality by applying modeling techniques through group guidance at MTSN 4 Aceh Besar. The research method uses a quantitative approach in the form of a one group pre-test-post-test design through two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The population in the study were 210 students in class VIII at MTsN 4 Aceh Besar and the sample in the experimental and control classes consisted of 8 students selected through a purposive sampling technique. Samples were taken based on the moral characteristics of students in class VIII-B and VIII-F, often displaying attitudes and behavior such as lack of respect for teachers, disrespect for friends, labeling the names of teachers and friends with other names, and never staying in class when PBM. Data collection techniques using student morality questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the t test with the help of SPSS. The results showed that there was an increase in student morality before and after being given group guidance services using modeling techniques. This is also proven by the results of the paired samples test (11,160> 1,761) it can be concluded that the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted while Ho is rejected.

Abstract

The leadership of the school principal in improving the social competency of teachers is something that is urgent in schools, because the principal as the top leader determines the progress and decline of a school organization. But also the social competence of teachers can be influenced by the principal's leadership style, strategies and policies in increasing these competencies. This study aims to reveal: 1) leadership styles, 2) policies and strategies, and 3) challenges and opportunities from school principals in strengthening teacher social competence. The approach uses a qualitative type of descriptive research with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The research subjects were the school principal, deputy head of administration, and two teachers at SMP IT Nurul Ishlah. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity of the researcher's data uses credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of the study obtained that: the principal's leadership style, has a democratic leadership style and a charismatic leadership style. Principal strategies and policies by communicating politely and harmoniously by applying the principle of brotherhood to the teacher council, students, parents and the surrounding community, conducting training and seminars for teachers in order to improve social competence and teacher insight. Motivating teachers to be passionate about innovating and developing quality as educators, creating programs to strengthen teacher relationships with fellow teachers, students, parents of students and the community environment. While the challenges and opportunities for approaching are due to the diversity of backgrounds, the age of the teachers at school, and the opportunities for strengthening them by being invited to work together to improve quality and involve all school members in social and integrity actions

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' perceptions regarding the contribution of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in cultivating an understanding of Islamic law in Aceh. A qualitative approach using the case study method is used. Data obtained through interviews with five participants. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is contribution of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in the form of students having knowledge of Islamic law applied in Aceh and students having knowledge of the categories of violations of Islamic law. Categories of violations of Islamic law that students know are drinking alcoholic beverages; maisir (gambling); khalwat (obscene) and wearing clothes that are not in accordance with the Shari'a law. The categories of punishment known to students for violations committed were caning for adultery.

Abstract

Lack of learning resources is an obstacle in achieving curriculum goals. The diversity of learning resources, especially teaching materials, is still lacking in primary schools and madrasah. It is important to develop teaching materials that are in accordance with the theme of the curriculum in Primary school. This study aims to design teaching materials based on the discovery learning model and describe the feasibility of teaching materials based on the discovery learning model in class IV primary school. This study uses Research and Development (R&D) research using the 4D model which consists of 4 stages, namely: Define Design, Develop and Dissemination. The research instruments were media expert validation sheets, material expert validation sheets, linguist validation sheets and teacher response questionnaires. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the media validation results obtained a score of 94% in the very feasible category, the results of the material expert validation obtained a score of 80% in the feasible category, the results of the linguist validation obtained a score of 82% in the very feasible category, and the results of the first teacher's response scored with the percentage is 80% in the appropriate category, the results of the second teacher's response obtain a score with a percentage of 81% in the very feasible category. Based on the results of these data, it can be concluded that the development of teaching materials based on the discovery learning model is suitable for use for fourth grade students of Primary school.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations and interviews that researchers conducted at SDN 9 Muara Batu class V/a, problems were found related to learning science. The problem found in fifth grade students at SDN 9 Muara Batu, North Aceh District, is that most students have difficulty remembering the material being studied. Especially in science learning there is a lot of material that must be remembered and there are many divisions. Therefore, students need a special learning model that can make it easier for students to remember and record the material being studied. The use of the Mind Mapping model in science learning can be an alternative for teachers and students. The aims of this study are (1) to describe teacher activities in improving student learning outcomes. (2) To describe student activities in improving learning outcomes. (3) To analyze the increase in student learning outcomes by applying the Mind Mapping model to learning science to improve learning outcomes. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with the research subjects being class V/a students totaling 20 students. The individual KKM that has been set is 67 and for classical completeness it is 70%. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and tests. Observation of teacher activities in managing learning in cycle I obtained a percentage of 80.34% and cycle II to 92.39%. Observation of student activity in cycle I obtained a percentage of 77.17% and cycle II to 89.13%. As for student learning outcomes in cycle I, it obtained a percentage of 55% that had not fulfilled classical completeness and cycle II to 85% had fulfilled classical completeness. So it can be concluded that learning through the application of the Mind Mapping model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Discipline is one of the factors that can affect the improvement of learning outcomes. However, there are still many students who are not aware of the importance of discipline in the learning process such as students not doing assignments or copying friends' assignments, this results in many students whose grades do not reach the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). One of the strategies implemented to improve discipline and learning outcomes is by giving reward and punishment. The aims of this study were: (1) to find out the activities of teachers and students after applying reward and punishment in class II/b, (2) to find out the level of discipline and student learning outcomes after implementing reward and punishment in class II/b. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research instrument was in the form of teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, disciplinary observation sheets, and student learning outcomes test sheets. The results showed that (1) the percentage of teacher activity research results in cycle I was 77.77% in the good category and increased in cycle II to 89% in the excellent category, (2) the percentage of student activity research results in cycle I was 78 .85% in the good category and in cycle II it becomes 89% in the very good category, (3) the percentage of student discipline in cycle I is 76% in the good category and in cycle II it becomes 80% in the good category, (4) the percentage of learning outcomes students in cycle I, namely 62% in the good category and experienced an increase in cycle II to 92% in the very good category. Based on the results of these data it can be concluded that the application of reward and punishment can improve discipline and student learning outcomes in thematic learning activities for class II students MIN 1 Sabang.

Abstract

Efforts to increase the Islamic values of students and female students in preventing juvenile delinquency and counseling teachers play more roles in identifying and observing problems faced by students. The aim is to find out what material is applied in guidance and counseling services in an effort to increase Islamic values and what types of services are provided in an effort to increase Islamic values for students. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were guidance and counseling teachers who served at public high schools in the city of Banda Aceh according to the portion of the guidance and counseling teachers themselves. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and observation. Processing techniques and data analysis is done by way of qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results obtained from guidance and counseling service materials that are often applied in an effort to increase Islamic values relating to aspects of discipline, honesty, courtesy, cleanliness, peace-loving, courage to uphold the truth, shame in making mistakes, and trustworthiness include the application of the 5 daily prayers , obeying school rules, regarding tidiness, the lifestyle of a believer, signs of a hypocrite, the consequences and effects of cheating, the balance of words and deeds, respect for others, how to talk to younger, peers and older, governance good manners in association, good morality and attitude, clean is beautiful, cleanliness is part of faith, smiling and greeting is worship, relationships with others in Islam, defending the sanctity of religion and honor of the nation, shame on violating Islamic law, and shame not do God's commandments. Then the types of services provided in an effort to increase Islamic values include information services with a classical format, group guidance services with a group format, content services with an individual format, and individual counseling services with an individual format.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations, teachers have an important role in implementing student character values. Class IV teachers at MIN 5 Banda Aceh City have applied character values to planning and implementation. However, the author sees that there are still some students who lack order in moral values among these students due to the incomplete application of character values. In addition, the author only wants to describe how and what are the obstacles in applying character values to thematic learning at MIN 5 in Banda Aceh city. Based on the background of the problems that have been raised, the formulation of the problem in this study is: (1) How is the implementation of strengthening character education in thematic learning planning at MIN 5 in Banda Aceh City? (2) How is the implementation of strengthening character education in implementing thematic learning at MIN 5 in Banda Aceh City?. This research is a quantitative research using descriptive method. The subjects in this study were one school principal and four grade IV teachers at MIN 5 Banda Aceh City. Data collection was carried out using lesson plans documentation, class observations, and interviews. Documentation is done by analyzing the class IV teacher's lesson plan to find out how the lesson plan was prepared by the school, whether the five character values that the author examined in the lesson plan have emerged. Then class observations were carried out to see the learning process carried out by class IV MIN 5 teachers in Banda Aceh City.

Abstract

The industrial revolution from 4.0 to 5.0 has recently made it easier for humans to complete their tasks optimally in all fields. With the help of this high industry everything can be done automatically. This can also be done in the learning process at school. In the learning process at school, this latest computerized industrial revolution has made it easy for a teacher to use interactive power point learning media in presenting his learning material. This interactive power point media in theory if it can be designed and used properly will be able to increase student motivation, interest and learning outcomes. This is because this computer-based media can present concise learning material in the form of slides that are attractive and easy to understand. Many studies on this subject have been carried out in schools, all of which yield positive values, namely that they can significantly increase student motivation, interest, enjoyment and learning outcomes. Therefore it is highly recommended for all teachers to learn to create interactive power point learning media and use them in learning in this digital era.
