Abstract

Ethnic and cultural differences in the same educational environment are commonplace for students at SMA 1 Badar, various ethnic groups belonging to students such as Alas, Gayo, Malay, Batak, and others join in the implementation of PAI learning, each tribe has characteristics, background and character, different, resulting in conflict between one another. In overcoming these differences PAI teachers implement multicultural attitudes to students through PAI learning and teachers plan, implement, and evaluate these attitudes to students in the PAI learning process. The aim of this research is to determine PAI learning management in implementing multiculturalism for students. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative method using observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. The results of this research are that PAI teachers implement an attitude of multiculturalism and organize planning, implementation, and evaluation. This attitude includes an attitude of tolerance, an attitude of mutual help, an attitude of equality, an attitude of cooperation, and an attitude of prioritizing language/prayer.

Abstract

This research aims to understand how learning facilities are managed, especially in PAI learning, which includes the planning, procurement and maintenance processes. The research method applied is qualitative with an interpretative descriptive approach. The data collection method involves three aspects, namely, observation, interviews and documentaries and drawing conclusions. The respondents in this research were school principals, infrastructure management staff and PAI subject teachers and the data sources used were primary data and secondary data. The results of this research show that in the management of facilities and infrastructure in PAI learning and seeing how the enthusiasm for learning created by teachers at SMPN 3 Banda Aceh is carried out according to process standards and management, there is good planning of infrastructure, procurement in accordance with prioritized priorities and maintenance, the role Teachers also create enthusiasm for learning through a neat, comfortable and peaceful classroom management process, using fun learning methods.

Abstract

students appear less enthusiastic, bored, and pay very little attention to the teacher's explanations. This can be seen from the lack of media use. So the researchers took the title of developing big book media to stimulate initial reading skills in class III MI 2 Banda Aceh students. Because the lack of media use makes students pay less attention to the teacher and have no interest in learning something due to the use of media that is not varied. Therefore, one effort that can be made is to develop big book learning media that can stimulate students' initial reading skills and interest during learning. This research aims to determine the process of developing and determining the feasibility of big book learning media in class III MIN 2 Banda Aceh. The type of research used is Research and Development, which refers to the 4D model which consists of four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The instruments used in this research were media expert validation sheets, material validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires. The research results show that: First, the development of big book learning media is very feasible and could be an interesting innovation. Second, the feasibility of big book media was assessed by media experts to get 95% in the "Very Feasible" category and the media expert's validation results were 100% in the "Very Feasible" category, and thirdly, the results of the teacher's response to big book media were 100% in the "Very Good" category. Worthy". Thus, it can be concluded that the big book learning media product developed has a high level of validity, so it is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Said Nursi is a Muslim figure who has contributed to changes in secularism in Turkey. Turkey was originally based on the Koran and Sunnah, becoming a republic based on secularism in all aspects of life under Attaturk's rule. However, Turkey now looks different, where secularism is fading and people can carry out activities in accordance with the Qor’an and Sunnah. This was caused by the thoughts born by Said Nursi which brought changes to secularism in Turkey. This research aims to describe Said Nursi's contribution to changes in secularism in Turkey whose study focuses on Darul Hikmetil Islamiye, Sufism Amali, and Risala An-Nur. This research is a literature review (character study) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The subject data comes from books, articles and historical notes about Said Nursi's thoughts which are used as objects of study. The data was analyzed descriptively in collaboration with content analysis. So the results of the research state that Darul Hikmetil Islamiye, Sufism Amali, and Risale An-Nur which were pioneered by Said Nursi not only changed aspects of Turkish society in their time in maintaining Turkey as a secular Islamic country, even though this movement was very small in scope at that time. However, Nursi has given birth to new cadres so that today not only in Turkey, even in all corners of the world they can apply his thoughts in the lives of Islamic communities.

Abstract

This study found out influence of work motivation and teacher certificate in SMP Negeri 2 Simpang Tiga Kabupaten Pidie. There are three hypothesis in this research. First, there are influence between work motivation and teachers work. Second, there are influence between teacher certificate and teachers work. Third, there are influence together from work motivation and teacher to teachers work. The instrument that used in this research is Skala Likert construct from many kinds of theory, and it has been formed in variable operational. To know the instrument validity used validity test and reliability test. The implementation in order to motivated all the teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Simpang Tiga Kabupaten Pidie to standard their work motivation and certificate with the result that they can aware to always try their best to get their aim.

Abstract

Islamic education, by its nature, is an institution that encompasses Islamic teachings. The presence of Islam in the Indonesian archipelago has led to the establishment of educational institutions, both formal and non-formal, which have developed the Shafi'i school of thought within social, cultural, and various other contexts. This study aims to describe the development of Islamic education in Indonesia, focusing on the direction and objectives of Islamic education as viewed through the perspective of Imam Shafi'i, the founder of the Shafi'i school. The methodology employed in this research is a library study. The findings indicate that the Shafi'i school is the most widely accepted school of jurisprudence among Muslims globally, particularly in Indonesia. The presence of the Shafi'i school aligns with the spread of Islam in Indonesia. The development of Islamic education in Indonesia relies significantly on the Shafi'i school as a primary reference for daily religious practices. Educational institutions, whether formal or non-formal, remain closely tied to the teachings of the Shafi'i school. Abstrak Pendidikan Islam pada hakikatnya merupakan lembaga yang di dalamnya terdapat ajaran-ajaran Islam. Kehadiran Agama Islam di Nusantara telah melahirkan lembaga-lembaga Pendidikan di Indonesia, yakni lembaga formal dan lembaga non formal yang telah mengembangkan mazhab Syafi'i dalam konteks social, budaya serta berbagai kebutuhan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang pengembangan pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menentukan arah dan tujuan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia yang ditinjau dari pemikiran Imam Mazhab Syafi'i yakni Imam Asy-Syafi’i. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian mengatakan bahwa mazhab Syafi'i merupakan mazhab fiqih yang paling banyak diterima di kalangan umat Islam di penjuru dunia, terutama di Indonesia. Keberadaan Mazhab Syafi'i sejalan dengan penyebaran Islam di Indonesia. Pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Islam di Indonesia menjadikan paham mazhab Syafi’i ini sebagai salah satu sandaran utama dalam melakukan ibadah di kehidupan sehari-hari. Pada lembaga pendidikan baik di lembaga formal ataupun lembaga non formal tetap tidak jauh dari ajaran yang berpaham dengan mazhab Syafi’i.

Abstract

This study aims to explore classical Islamic educational literature within the field of psychology, to be used as a comparative framework or to identify its relevance in the modern era. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through library research methods. The findings indicate that psychology has a significant impact on the process of education and learning. Ibn Miskawayh, At-Tabari, and Fakhruddin Ar-Razi are notable classical Islamic figures whose works continue to be studied and developed to this day. Their contributions to psychology hold potential for application in various societal contexts and conditions. The psychological insights of Ibn Miskawayh, At-Tabari, and Fakhruddin Ar-Razi remain relevant and applicable to contemporary Islamic education.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas lektur klasik kependidikan islam pada genre psikologi untuk dapat dijadikan perbandingan atau bahkan ditemukan relevansi pada era modern. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (libraryresearch) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil kajian menjelaskan Psikologi memiliki pengaruh besar dalam proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Ibn Miskawayh, At-Tabari dan Fakhruddin Ar-Razi merupakan tokoh islam klasik yang populer dikaji dan dikembangkkan hingga saat ini, ketiganya memiliki karya-karya pada aspek psikologi yang berpotensi dalam sejumlah upaya aktivitas yang dilalui masyarakat di berbagai situasi dan kondisi. Pada kependidikan islam pemikiran Ibn Miskawayh, At-Tabari dan Fakhruddin Ar-Razi tentang psikologi masih relevan untuk diterapkan dimasa sekarang.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Discovery learning adalah salah satu metode belajar bermakna dari pendekatan konstruktivis pada pendidikan yang merupakan pembelajaran dengan penemuan melalui keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dan mendorong mereka menemukan prinsip bahkan persepsi baru bagi diri mereka sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengggunaan Layanan Informasi Berbasis Metode Discovery Learning Untuk Menangani Disiplin Sekolah di SMAN 2 Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen (One Group Pretesst Posstest Design). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert dengan penyebaran angket kepada seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS di SMAN 2, Banda Aceh. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 29 orang dan menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling, yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 orang sesuai hasil angket pre-test. Sampel diberikan treatment berupa layanan informasi berbasis metode discovery learning. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan antara nilai Pre-Test dan Post-Test dimana adanya peningkatan kedisiplinan sesudah diberikan treatment yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji hipotesis yaitu perolehan ttabel < thitung = 2.571 < -9.260. Dari perbandingan tersebut dapat diputuskan bahwa Ho tidak dapat diterima, dengan kata lain Ha tidak dapat ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil keputusan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Layanan Informasi Berbasis Metode Discovery Learning Dapat Menangani Disiplin Sekolah di SMAN 2 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

The development of intellectual wealth globally should serve as a reflection for humanity, as world changes begin with the concepts we build, which in turn become the cognitive tools used. This includes the Burhani epistemology developed by al-Jabiri, which applies its logic to various aspects of issues, eventually becoming a source of wisdom to be proud of in the Arab and Muslim worlds. This study employs several approaches, such as historical, literary, and textual analyses relevant to the discussion. The use of these methods aims to uncover a more complex and comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. The findings of this study indicate that epistemological concepts are highly beneficial when applied to education. They not only provide satisfaction with the material learned but also offer a more comprehensive approach that can enhance students' cognitive abilities in exploring and understanding the truths of Islamic teachings. The use of Burhani epistemology is also believed to enhance the spirituality of learners, leading to a deeper engagement with Islam. Furthermore, it can foster religious independence, critical thinking skills, stimulate discussion on religious material, build contextual understanding, and, most importantly, strengthen the moral foundation of adherents.   Abstrak Perkembangan kekayaan intelektual dunia patut menjadi refleksi bagi umat manusia, perubahan dunia dimulai dari bagaimana konsep yang dibangun untuk mereka menjadi bakal daya nalar yang digunakan. Tidak terkecuali burhani yang dikembangkan al-Jabbiri dalam memainkan logikanya terhadap semua aspek persoalan yang nantinya menjadi kearifan yang patut dibanggakan di dunia Arab dan Muslim pada umumnya. Pengkajian ini menggunakan beberapa studi seperti studi sejarah, literatur dan teks-teks yang ada relevansinya dengan tujuan bahasan. Penggunaan metode ini bertujuan untuk menemukan secara lebih kompleks dan komprehensif terhadap kajian yang dilakukan. Hasil kajian menemukan bahwa konsep epistemologi sangat berguna diterapkan dalam pembelajaran, karena bukan hanya melahirkan suatu kepuasan terhadap materi yang didapatkan, namun lebih konprehensif dan dapat mengembangkan daya nalar siswa dalam mendalami dan berpikir terhadap kebenaran ajaran Agama Islam, penggunaan konsep epistemologi burhani juga diyakini dapat meningkatkan spiritualitas peserta didik yang lebih komprehensif dalam mendalami Islam, disamping itu dapat membentuk kemandirian beragama, kecakapan berpikir kritis sehingga menghidupkan ruang diskusi terhadap materi agama, membangun konstektual pemahaman dan yang terpenting pemantapan moral penganut agama.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) and formulate strategies for improving motivation that can be applied in the context of IRE teaching in schools. Using a library research approach, this study reviews various literature on learning motivation theories and their application in IRE teaching. The findings indicate that student learning motivation is influenced by internal factors, such as self-efficacy and interest in the subject matter, as well as external factors, including social support from teachers, parents, and peers. The application of learning strategies that are relevant to students' life experiences and the use of educational technology has proven effective in enhancing student learning motivation in IRE. Furthermore, learning approaches that emphasize student active involvement and allow them to find personal meaning in religious materials have proven to be more effective in increasing their motivation. The integration of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in a balanced way can enhance the meaningfulness of IRE learning, which, in turn, improves students' understanding and practice of religious teachings in their daily lives. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan merumuskan strategi peningkatan motivasi yang dapat diterapkan dalam konteks pembelajaran PAI di sekolah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka (library research), penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai literatur tentang teori motivasi belajar dan penerapannya dalam pembelajaran PAI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, seperti keyakinan diri (self-efficacy) dan minat terhadap materi, serta faktor eksternal, seperti dukungan sosial dari guru, orang tua, dan teman sebaya. Penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kehidupan siswa dan pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI. Selain itu, pembelajaran yang mengedepankan keterlibatan aktif siswa serta memungkinkan mereka menemukan makna dalam materi agama terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar mereka. Pengintegrasian motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik secara seimbang dapat meningkatkan kebermaknaan pembelajaran PAI, yang pada gilirannya dapat memperbaiki pemahaman dan pengamalan ajaran agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa.
