Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis Student Centered Learning (SCL) menuntut siswa lebih aktif, serta melakukan diskusi dengan guru sebagai fasilitator jika menemui kesulitan. Aktifnya siswa diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan rasa kreativitas siswa dan rasa percaya diri. Kemajuan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi memudahkan para murid untuk memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan tidak hanya melalui pembelajaran formal saja, akan tetapi bisa melalui berbagai media dan sumber belajar. Dalam pendekatan Student Centered Learning di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Lamongan titik berat peranan beralih pada siswa sehingga guru harus menyadari bahwa peran mereka adalah sebagai kolaborator dari proses belajar. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang membantu siswa mengakses semua sumber belajar yang ada. Melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, tesis ini mengajukan fokus penelitian antara lain: 1) bagaimana penerapan Student Centered Learning (SCL) pada Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa di MAN 1 Lamongan? 2) bagaimana relevansi penerapan Student Centered Learning (SCL) pada Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam kurikulum pembelajaran di MAN 1 Lamongan? Penelitian ini berhasil menemukan antara lain: Penerapan Student Centered Learning (SCL) pada Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Lamongan dilakukan dengan memotivasi siswa untuk bertanya, memberikan nilai yang bagus, memberikan sanjungan pada siswa yang berani untuk bertanya. Relevansi penerapan Student Centered Learning (SCL) pada Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam kurikulum pembelajaran di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Lamongan melalui aktivitas pembiasan di Madrasah, antara lain: mengaji Al-Qur’an setiap hari sebelum pembelajaran dimulai, kultum di depan teman-teman dan guru sebelum sholat dzuhur secara berjama’ah di Masjid Darussalam Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Lamongan.

Abstract

Learning as a process towards changing knowledge, attitudes and behavior of students with the intermediary of teachers as education servants. The teacher's role in delivering learning materials is often constrained by several things, one of which is the ability of students to absorb material. This is because the teacher does not know the strengths and weaknesses of the students. For this reason, researchers conducted research to determine teachers' understanding of diagnostic assessments and how teachers use information regarding students' diagnostic assessment results in learning design to obtain optimal learning outcomes. This qualitative descriptive research was conducted using interview techniques with 5 teachers from different elementary schools. From the results of the study, it was found that the teacher's understanding of the diagnostic assessment was quite low, and the use of the results of the information from the implementation of the diagnostic assessment at the beginning of learning as the basis for preparing the learning design received less attention.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting dalam mencapai keberhasilan proses pendidikan, karena lembaga disini berfungsi sebagai mediator dalam mengatur jalannya pendidikan. Pada zaman sekarang ini tampaknya tidaklah disebut pendidikan jika tidak ada lembaganya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan strategi-strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam merubah status kelembagaan pada Lembaga pendidikan islam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara Studi Pustaka, data diambil dari beberapa jurnal atau beberapa tulisan karya ilmiah yang terkait. Hasil penelitian Pertama paradigma integratif dan interkonektif harus menjadi ruh fundamental agar setiap kajian keilmuan benar-benar komprehensif sehingga mampu berbagai aspek kebudayaan, baik kebudayaan sebagai sistem nilai, produk maupun eksistensi manusia dalam perjalanan hidupnya yang kompleks. Kedua Perubahan kelembagaan sebagai upaya untuk memperluas peluang lulusan lembaga pendidikan islam sehingga kurikulum harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan industry. Transformasi kelembagaan harus memposisikan ilmu humaniora, dengan ilmu sains dalam proporsi yang sama sehingga ilmu agama tidak menjadi pengendali moral saja namun menjadi kajian ilmu yang mapan dan berkembang

Abstract

This research is analyzed Daisy's affair in The Great Gatsby novel. It is common that affairs become a problem from the past till nowadays. It is also usually a problem that occurs in married life. Based on the background of the study above, this research focused on answering how is Daisy's affair seen in The Great Gatsby novel and what are the factors that caused Daisy's affair. This study is qualitative research. Therefore, the researcher described Daisy's affair seen in The Great Gatsby novel and also the factors that caused Daisy's affair. The data analysis procedures were based on research findings and discussion, the researcher concluded that Daisy's affair happened involved at least one of the following three elements. They are confidentiality, emotional involvement, and sexual attraction. Besides that Daisy's affair is influenced by several factors there are internal factors that usually appear between spouses and external factors that usually appear from outside their marriage life. In this research, the researcher would like to contribute some suggestions to the next researcher, particularly those who have had the same problem some affairs being a problem from the past until nowadays, especially in marriage life. It is suggested that this study can be a reference for the next researcher.

Abstract

Tujuan diadakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketercapaian penerapan Model Pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pelajaran matematika. Penelitian tindakan ini dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Dari hasil tindakan yang dilakukan terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan mencapai standar ideal. Dari 59,17% pada Siklus l, dapat meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi 68,87% dan siklus 3 mencapai 80%, dan secara klasikal telah mencapai ketuntasan. Hasil penelitian tindakan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Model Pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI dengan ketuntasan mencapai 100 % , dengan demikian Model Pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SDN Kepatihan Kec.Lamongan Kab. Lamongan.

Abstract

Tujuan diadakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini adalah untuk mengetahui Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada pelajaran Tematik dengan tema bermain di lingkunganku melalui Model Pembelajaran Transformatif (Transformative Lerning) kelas II-B SDN Kepatihan Kec. Lamongan Kab. Lamongan Tahun Pelajaran 2019-2020. Penelitian tindakan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model pembelajaran transformatif (transformative learning) memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SDN Kepatihan Kec. Lamongan Kab. Lamongan yang ditandai dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam setiap siklus, yaitu; 56,56% ( siklus I ) ; 64,06 % ( siklus II ) ; 99,64 % (siklus III).

Abstract

General education is usually formulated in the form of ideal behavior by the outlook on life and philosophy of a nation which is formulated by the government in the form of laws. Meanwhile, Islamic boarding schools are a subculture that appears in society and changes with the larger world, so Islamic boarding schools become educational institutions that have their characteristics and are different from other educational institutions. With contradictory differences, both are needed to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, so a combination of the national curriculum and the Islamic boarding school curriculum is needed. This study uses the method (literature review) by tracing various references related to the integration of the national education curriculum and the pesantren curriculum. The integration of the national curriculum and the pesantren curriculum has succeeded in making its graduates more competent compared to schools that only use the national curriculum. There are proven indications of the results achieved for the success of the education system desired by the government so that this integration system is needed by future generations.

Abstract

Learning is an interactive process between educators and students in a certain lesson. One of the affective aspects that has a role in the learning process is learning interest. This learning interest has an extremely important role and has a great impact on students in a lesson. This research intended to comprehend Informatics Engineering students’ learning interest in a Linear Algebra course. The subjects of this research were Informatics Engineering Students of Universitas Islam Lamongan, with a total of 53 students. This research method was a qualitative descriptive method. The data source in this research came from the questionnaire of students’ learning interests in a Linear Algebra course. The data analysis in this research used four learning interest criteria including feelings of pleasure, attention, interest, and involvement. The results of the analysis that was obtained from this research got an average of: 71.89% for the criteria of pleasure feeling; 72.36% for the attention criteria; 71.79% for the interest criteria; and 71.79% for the involvement criteria with a total average of 71.96%. It can be concluded that students' learning interest in the Linear Algebra course was in the high category.

Abstract

Pendekatan mikrokosmos Pendidikan menempatkan pembelajaran Pendidikan Islam sebagai aktifitas menyenangkan peserta didik. Pengembangan potensi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik berpusat pada kompetensi guru. Guru adalah pelaku utama untuk dapat mencapai keberhasilan dari tujuan pembelajaran, sekaligus setiap langkah pembaruan pendidikan. Guru seharusnya menciptakan suatu inspiring teaching dengan melalui kompetensinya kepribadian, profesional, pedagogik, dan sosial. Sayangnya, situasi kekinian dalam pembelajaran, peran dominan guru menjadi hambatan dalam perkembangan kemampuan peserta didik. Orientasi pembelajaran yang sekedar mengejar target penuntasan bahan ajar menyebabkan peserta didik sering tidak nyaman dan tidak mampu mengembangkan kemandirian dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Peran guru berbasis pendidikan profetik, menjadi alternatif yang sangat relevan untuk efektifitas pembaruan Pendidikan Islam. Di sini, pengembangan kompetensi guru berpijak pada tiga pilar: transendensi, humanisasi dan liberasi. Pilar transendensi berpusat pada ikhtiar literasi keagamaan peserta didik. Praktek liberasi didasari interaksi kelas yang selalu membawa misi akhlak kenabian. Pilar humanisasi dapat dilihat dari inisiatif guru yang mampu menjadikan perbedaan antar peserta didik sebagai potensi mereka menjadi pribadi yang unggul dan berkarakter.

Abstract

Vocabulary is one of the essential aspects of learning English. The key to being able to read, write, and speak anything in English is having a diverse vocabulary. Instagram can be utilized as an alternative learning media to get students' interest in learning vocabulary. The study aims to explore students' perception of using Instagram Aarons.english as a media for learning vocabulary. This study was conducted at SMP PGRI 1 Buduran Sidoarjo used a qualitative case study approach. The data were taken from grade 9th students through interviews with six students, observation, and documentation. Thematic analysis is used to analyze the data in this study. The results of the study revealed that Aarons.english Instagram account is very influential for students. Students get many benefits when learning vocabulary using Aarons.english such as students become interested and also motivated to continue learning vocabulary because of Aarons.english's way of explaining material well and fun, easy to understand, and detailed. Apart from learning vocabulary, students also get other knowledge from these Aarons.english Instagram account in the form of students knowing various kinds of new vocabulary such as phrasal verbs, the second form of verbs, adverbs, and how to pronounce English words correctly.
