Abstract

Business transformation has become a strategic necessity for telecommunications companies operating in increasingly competitive and dynamic environments. PT Telkom Infrastruktur Indonesia (PT TIF), established under Telkom Group’s 5 Bold Moves initiative, functions as an InfraCo entity responsible for managing and commercializing fiber network infrastructure. However, the company faces challenges related to low infrastructure asset utilization and limited external revenue generation beyond the Telkom Group ecosystem. This study aims to formulate appropriate business strategies to optimize asset utilization and improve competitiveness. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five key informants representing PT TIF management, industry associations, and Internet Service Provider (ISP) companies, supported by direct observation and analysis of company documents and industry reports. The study utilized PESTEL Analysis, Porter’s Five Forces, SWOT Analysis, Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix, External Factor Evaluation (EFE) Matrix, IE Matrix, TOWS Matrix, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Results indicate that PT TIF possesses significant strengths, including extensive nationwide infrastructure coverage and strong brand support from the Telkom Group, but faces weaknesses in operational agility, marketing capability, and capital expenditure limitations. QSPM analysis identifies Network Sharing Expansion as the priority strategy to improve infrastructure utilization, increase external revenue.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of pricing and service quality on consumer purchase intentions at Indomaret in Baubau City. A quantitative research framework was used, with survey techniques as the primary method for obtaining data from research participants. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 96 consumer respondents selected using random sampling. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression using SPSS version 26 software. The results indicate that both price and service quality influence consumers’ purchase intention at Indomaret in Baubau City. Price was found to be a more dominant factor affecting purchase intention than service quality. These findings suggest that consumers tend to consider price affordability and price suitability when determining their purchase intention, while service quality remains an important factor in creating a positive shopping experience. Overall, competitive pricing and high-quality service can enhance consumers’ purchase intention. Therefore, Indomaret should maintain an appropriate pricing strategy and continuously improve its service quality to encourage greater consumer purchase intention.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of soft skills, hard skills, and internship experience on the work readiness of Generation Z, while exploring the role of psychological well-being. The research is motivated by the rising unemployment rate among university graduates, reflecting a mismatch between academic competencies and labor market demands. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from Generation Z students and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The study’s novelty lies in its integrated model that simultaneously investigates the effects of soft skills, hard skills, internship experience, and psychological well-being on work readiness. The results show that soft skills positively and significantly influence work readiness. Hard skills and internship experience significantly improve psychological well-being, whereas soft skills have no significant effect on psychological well-being. In addition, psychological well-being neither significantly affects work readiness nor mediates the relationships between soft skills, hard skills, internship experience, and work readiness. These findings suggest that Generation Z work readiness is primarily determined by competency-related factors rather than psychological mechanisms. Therefore, higher education institutions should prioritize soft-skill development and relevant internship programs to better equip students for labor market demands, while future research should explore other psychological and contextual factors influencing work readiness

Abstract

This study examines the effects of the Human Development Index (HDI), Open Unemployment Rate (OUR), and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita on poverty in Aceh Province. Despite receiving substantial fiscal support through the Special Autonomy Fund, Aceh continues to record one of the highest poverty rates in Indonesia, indicating persistent structural challenges. This study provides district-level evidence from 23 regencies and municipalities in Aceh during 2020–2024 using panel data regression analysis. Based on the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests, the Random Effect Model was identified as the most appropriate specification. The findings reveal that HDI has a significant negative effect on poverty, indicating that improvements in education, health, and living standards contribute to poverty reduction. The Open Unemployment Rate also exhibits a significant negative relationship with poverty, suggesting the importance of regional labor market characteristics and informal employment. Meanwhile, GRDP per capita has no significant effect, implying that economic growth has not been sufficiently inclusive to alleviate poverty. These findings emphasize that strengthening human capital and improving labor market quality are more effective strategies for reducing poverty in Aceh Province.
