Abstract

This literature research aims to investigate strategies for implementing area learning in shaping the character of early childhood students. Character formation in early childhood has a significant long-term impact on the formation of individuals who are strong and responsible in society. Therefore, understanding effective learning strategies in this context is essential. This library research combines text sources related to strategies for implementing area learning and character formation in early childhood. Data were analyzed through content analysis methods to identify key findings and trends in relevant literature. The findings from this literature research reveal that the application of area learning has a significant role in shaping the character of early childhood students. Some effective strategies in achieving this goal include the use of diverse and interesting learning environments, a values-based approach, and the active role of educators in providing positive examples. Apart from that, collaboration between teachers, parents and the community also emerges as a key factor in forming the character of young children.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the quality of the process of implementing the rattling button type cooperative method which can increase learning activity in Class This research includes classroom action research (PTK) which consists of cycle I and cycle II, each of which has four stages, namely: planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage and reflection stage. The techniques used in data collection are observation, tests and research documentation. The results of the research show that the application of the rattling button type cooperative method can increase learning activity in Catholic religious education, where in cycle I student activity was 75.53% with fairly good criteria, and in cycle II student activity increased 95.92% with very good criteria. Based on the research results obtained, the researchers concluded that through the cooperative method of the jingling button type can increase the learning activity of Class X Social 1 students at SMAN 1 East Malaka for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

Love for one's country is one of the main things in forming a citizen's character, namely a sense of belonging, a sense of care, a sense of preserving and a sense of wanting to advance the unity of the nation and state. With this attitude of love, the state of the country will be better. The research objectives are 1) to determine the quality of Catholic Religious Education learning outcomes by applying project-based experiential methods to increase the feeling of love for the country for class 2) to determine the quality of the Catholic Religious Education learning process by applying project-based experiential methods to increase the feeling of love for the country for class This research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of Cycle I and Cycle II which has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research show that through the application of project-based experiential methods the feeling of patriotism in Catholic Religious Education subjects can increase as follows. The data results for Cycle I were 2.59% and Cycle II were 3.97%. From these data it is concluded that the application of project-based experiential methods can increase the feeling of love for the country in Catholic Religious Education Learning for class.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the description of academic procrastination on student achievement for class of 2020 for the 2022/2023 academic year STIPAS Archdiocese of Kupang, to find out the relationship between academic procrastination on student achievement for class 2020 for the 2022/2023 academic year STIPAS Archdiocese of Kupang. This study used a descriptive quantitative method with research locations at STIPAS, Kupang Archdiocese. The population in this study were 78 people consisting of 38 students in class A and 40 students in class B and the sample used was the same as the population. The data collection technique used in this research is. While the data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis techniques. The results of the research based on statistical analysis show that the relationship between academic procrastination and student achievement in class 2020 at STIPAS Archdiocese of Kupang is 68.2%, meaning that academic procrastination has a significant relationship to learning achievement. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing it was found that the significance value was 0.00 with a probability of 0.05, so the decision was to reject the hypothesis (Ho) and accept the hypothesis (Ha) meaning that the academic procrastination variable has a significant relationship to learning achievement.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find a general profile of the creativity of SEKAMI Trustees of the Archdiocese of Kupang. This research was born from the author's concern regarding the importance of the Church's attention to the formation of children's faith. One of the tasks that the Church can do is to help develop children's faith. This research uses descriptive-quantitative methods. This method attempts to describe the situation or reality in the form of percentage figures. To obtain accurate data, the author shares that the results of the research show that the creativity of SEKAMI supervisors in the Kupang Archdiocese (especially in the respondent's area) is classified as very good. 129 SEKAMI coaches out of 152 respondents stated that they were very creative in carrying out their duties and calling. The score obtained for the aspect of self-awareness as a SEKAMI coach was 91.4%. For the aspect of creativity in thinking and acting, a score of 86.8% was obtained. Meanwhile, for the aspect of the relationship between designed or planned activities and parish pastoral care, a score of 61.8% was obtained.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of examining the social interactions of students at SDK Santa Maria Assumpta, Kupang City. The results of the research show that the collaboration aspect obtained an indicator achievement of 71.11%, the communication aspect obtained an indicator achievement of 78.52%, the empathy aspect obtained an indicator achievement of 58.67%, the problem solving aspect obtained an indicator achievement of 68.52%, and the respect for diversity aspect achieved an indicator achievement of 85.56%. The positive impact of social interaction between students at SDK Maria Assumpta Kupang City is the creation of relationships and relations between students, students can improve their ability to communicate with other people, students are able to manage their emotions when facing challenges or problems in relationships with friends, teachers and school staff, students can transfer positive habits in their social interactions at school to their family life. Meanwhile, negative impacts include misunderstanding and bullying, dominating behavior towards other students who are in lower positions, as well as social restrictions which cause feelings of exclusion and social isolation for affected students. Efforts are made to create social interaction for students at SDK Santa Maria Assumpta, Kupang City, namely that the school needs to pay attention to the importance of aspects of students' social life so that students can develop as good and healthy individuals in carrying out social interactions in the school environment, in within the family and in the community. Apart from that, homeroom teachers need to translate school policies through educational activities that can increase social interaction between students at SDK Maria Assumpta, Kupang City.

Abstract

The reason this research was conducted was to examine parental parenting patterns and their impact on the spiritual intelligence of children in the St. John the Bath. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a description approach. The data analysis technique in this qualitative research is using data collection, data reduction, and display and data verifying techniques. The research results show that parents in the St. Yohanes Pemandi has not provided a good parenting style to the children. For this reason, parents need to make the home the first place for spiritual education so that children can grow in their spiritual life in the family and have an influence on other people in life in society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the results and the quality of the process of applying the discovery learning method to PAK learning, which can improve learning achievement for Class XI MIA 1 students in the 2021–2022 academic year. We collect data through observation, tests, and documentation. The results of research in the field prove that the results of research in each cycle indicate that the application of the discovery learning method can improve student achievement. The ability of student achievement increases in each cycle, where in Cycle I the number of scores obtained is 1,849, the class average is 71.11%, and the class mastery is 23.01% in the sufficient category and has not yet reached the KKM. In Cycle II the number of scores was 2,084, the class average was 80.15%, and the class completeness was 80.11%, which were in the good category and had reached the KKM. According to the author, the discovery learning method is highly suitable for students in class XI, MIA 1, to learn Catholic religious education. Based on the results obtained by the author, there is an increase in students' learning achievement, which includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of learning Catholic religious education using the discovery learning method. Students know the quality of the results and the process of applying this method.

Abstract

Human life is always faced with challenges to change and develop, including religious life in the contemporary era. There is the problem of religious truths being understood narrowly and giving rise to radicalism. Tracing the concept of religious auto-immunization according to Jaques Derida is an attempt to understand the challenges of religious life in the contemporary era. There is an effort to give new meaning to religious life in religions in order to change the perspective and way of religious life in a new context.

Abstract

"Work and pray". Working without trust through prayer to Allah the Creator is futile. Work is a fundamental and significant aspect that reflects human nature in life as a mission in the world as stated in the encyclical Laborem Exercens. This paper aims to explore the meaning of work in an entrepreneurial internship from the perspective of the encyclical Laborem Exercens so that it can be the right medium for developing students' abilities, skills and creativity in carrying out entrepreneurial internships. The contents of the encyclical Laborem Exercens explain in depth the meaning of work as a work of service to God. So it is very important for students to understand the meaning of work through entrepreneurial internships in order to fulfill their duties and mission in the world.
