Abstract

The new normal has posed significant challenges for students in maintaining their health. To address this issue, this study aimed to examine the awareness of university students in maintaining their health during this period using clustering and Naïve Bayes methods. The results of the study revealed two distinct clusters, "Aware" and "Not Aware," indicating that Indonesian students have varying levels of awareness regarding health precautions during the new normal. Most students are in the "Aware" cluster, suggesting a positive trend in health-conscious behavior among students in Indonesia. The Naive Bayes method was used to validate the cluster analysis, which resulted in an overall accuracy of approximately 96.25%. The study also found that the students are generally trying to maintain their health during the new normal, with most scoring between moderate and good. However, there are differences in the levels of effort put in by different age groups, with those aged 22 scoring lower. Moreover, students are generally making a good effort to maintain their health in public places during the new normal, but again, those aged 22 had the lowest scores. In terms of healthy food consumption, most students across all age groups scored a level of moderate consumption. The purpose of these findings is to inform policymakers and healthcare providers to develop sustainable programs for improving health awareness among students and addressing the challenges presented by the new normal.

Abstract

Accelerating stunting reduction is a national priority in realizing healthy, intelligent and productive human resources. Multi-dimensional factors cause stunting, so multi-sectors are responsible for handling it. To optimize stunting prevention, health workers such as pharmacists have an essential role to play. As part of change agents and competence, pharmacists should optimize their role in providing information and education and as caregivers. Pharmacists are expected to play a role in diet and nutrition management, increasing adherence to therapy, and monitoring drug side effects in pregnancy. This study aims to get an overview of the effect of pharmacist intervention in preventing anaemia in pregnant women in supporting the treatment of stunting. This type of research was a quasi-experimental study with a cohort study design before and after the intervention was carried out on anaemic pregnant women receiving blood supplement therapy in Pandeglang District, Banten Province. The clinical outcome assessment was measured based on the Hb value and the pregnant woman's weight. The level of adherence was assessed using the Medication Adherence Report Scale (MARS-5). The results showed increased adherence to using Iron Tablets after pharmacist intervention (99.47%). The MARS-5 score showed an average increase of 24.99 ± 0.07. The average patient's Hb increased after the intervention and showed a significant difference in Hb levels (p<0.05). The decrease in the number of patients with anaemia in pregnant women reached 91.8%. Pregnant women's weight increased monthly, showing a significant difference (p <0.05). Based on these results, it can be concluded that there was a significant increase in adherence to the consumption of Blood Supplement Tablets, Hb levels, and body weight in pregnant women after pharmacists intervened in Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province.

Abstract

A bibliometric analysis centered on the internationalization process of small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) with the Uppsala Model is presented in this article. The Uppsala model, which was first published in 1977, explains the process by which companies become internationalized. This model has been the subject of extensive research and development over the years. The literature on SME internationalization is investigated in this analysis, with a specific focus on the keywords "Uppsala model," "SMEs," "internationalization," and "export." This study use of bibliometric techniques, such as network visualization and density visualization, to uncover patterns in research and author collaborations. The findings underline the usefulness of the Uppsala model in the process of comprehending the internationalization of SMEs and bring attention to aspects such as resources, international plans, and dynamic capabilities that affect this procedure. This study contributes to the current body of information on the internationalization of SMEs and lays the groundwork for further investigation in this area.

Abstract

This article aims to provide a systematic review of the literature on the current state of research on highly diverse and collaborative and internationalization of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). We analyze the processes that affect the internationalization of SMEs. Additionally, highlighting the limitations of the literature, especially in terms of theoretical fragmentation; existing theories are deployed and illustrated but are rarely extended in a way that significantly informs subsequent work. With this, we highlight the need for a more rigorous and empirically informed exploration of contextual effects that considers the consequences of development in global economic ecosystems. From the results of a review of several literatures, it shows that there is an internationalization theory that tries to analyze, process, and produce results. Because in the era of globalization, small and medium companies see internationalization activities as a great opportunity to progress and develop.

Abstract

The skin is the outermost part of the body that serves as a protective body. In addition to protecting the skin of the face, it also acts as a beautifier. The main problem with facial skin is inflammation of the skin, which can cause acne. Bacteria like Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa can cause acne on the face. Prolonged use of antibiotics as therapy against acne will cause a new problem, namely resistance to antibiotics. Lime peel has many uses, especially as an antibacterial, which makes it a good candidate for use as an antibacterial agent in acne treatment. The goal of this study was to find out if the etTMhanolic extract of lime peel could kill bacteria like Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis. The research method used the Kirby-Bauer method and the Streaking methods to analyze the minimum inhibitory concentration and minimum bactericidal concentration. The results showed MIC at a concentration of 1 mg/mL for each bacterium, while MBC at a concentration of 40 mg/mL in Propionibacterium acnes and 50 mg/mL in Staphylococcus epidermidis. The conclusion is that the extract of lime peel in ethanol can kill bacteria.
