Abstract

Economic stability is the main goal in the Islamic view, in which economic concepts based on ethical values ??and social justice are prioritized. One of the problems faced in achieving economic stability is inflation which can cause imbalance and instability in the economy. Therefore, this paper discusses the approach put forward from an Islamic perspective to control inflation and achieve sustainable economic stability, through: 1) implementation of a sharia-based monetary system, which prohibits usury (interest) and excessive speculation, 2) currency management, 3) equity in income distribution, 4) encouraging investment in the productive sector and economic infrastructure, and 5) economic supervision and regulation. The narrative of this research is told in accordance with the requirements of the formulation being addressed. It is a descriptive qualitative study with a literature study technique. The findings of this study demonstrate that, from an Islamic perspective, attempts to maintain economic stability and manage inflation are not just commercial endeavors but also an essential component of worship for achieving social welfare and justice. By implementing these approaches, it is hoped that the economy in the Islamic view can achieve sustainable stability and provide long-term benefits for society as a whole.

Abstract

The process of childbirth is a natural event for women; with the increase in birth rates, selecting a suitable obstetrician becomes essential. However, many couples find it challenging to choose the right obstetrician, from consultations to hospital births. This study aims to develop an obstetrician recommendation system to overcome decision-making challenges that involve many criteria. The method used is VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR), which is one of the best methods in Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) for ranking and selecting alternatives. This method involves several steps, including determining the weight of the criteria, normalizing the matrix, calculating the Utility Measure and Regret Measure, and calculating the VIKOR index. Testing was carried out through scenario tests and user survey tests using the USE questionnaire. The scenario test results show the successful implementation of VIKOR in this system. The results of the user survey test indicated a high level of satisfaction with a score of 83.34%, which fulfilled the four variables in the USE questionnaire: usability (79.76%), ease of use (84.81%), ease of learning (84.81), and satisfaction (83.31%). The results of this study have important implications for increasing the effectiveness of decision-making in selecting the right obstetrician. By incorporating the VIKOR method into an application, this research provides a valuable contribution to developing a VIKOR-based recommendation system. It emphasizes the importance of applying this method in complex decision-making environments.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has made all aspects of human life easier. Online shop is a form of change brought about by technological developments. With an online shop, humans can shop wherever and whenever. This convenience, of course, must be followed by sufficient financial capabilities because the ease of shopping that is not followed by good financial capabilities will cause new problems, especially financial problems. With a quantitative approach, researchers want to find out whether Financial Capability, Technology usage, and prior bank experience influence a person's online shopping behavior. The sample in this study were residents of Jakarta and Tangerang aged between 19-34 years. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires through the Google Form. Meanwhile, to analyze, researchers used Smart-PLS 3.0 software. The results of the study concluded that financial capability has a positive effect on online shops, while technology usage and prior bank experience have no effect on online shops.

Abstract

The main task of every government is to strive for the welfare of its entire population. According to data from the Indonesian Zakat Outlook, Indonesia has 600 networks of Zakat Management Organizations (OPZ) spread across the entire territory of the Republic of Indonesia. These networks are part of 34 National Zakat Management Bodies (BAZNAS) at the provincial level, 500 BAZNAS at the district and city levels, 24 Provincial Zakat Amil Institutions (LAZ), 14 LAZ at the provincial level, 32 LAZ at the district and city levels, and 136 Zakat Collection Units (UPZ). The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research, where the researcher describes the findings of the study. The research objects include relevant books and journals. The study reveals that BAZNAS and other zakat managers achieved a 1.76% poverty reduction rate in 2022.

Abstract

The torque of the DC motor needs to be known to determine the maximum load that can be exerted at a given speed. Torque measurement can be done with a dynamometer. The dynamometer uses the Prony Brake type, which uses the principle of frictional force to provide a load on the motor. The application of frictional force uses brake capillary load to produce a dynamometer with the Prony Brake type that is simple in manufacture and testing but reliable and accurate in making measurements. In the Prony Brake dynamometer, there are usually two pieces of wood used as a link between the motor and the torque arm; at the end of the torque arm, there is a ballast whose ballast value is multiplied by the length of the arm to produce the torque value of the DC motor. The results of the trials that have been carried out are that the reading results of RPM sensors, weight sensors, and voltage sensors have a deviation of less than 2%, and the current sensor readings have a deviation of less than 5%. The Prony Brake dynamometer that has been made can read the maximum torque value with a deviation of about 2% from the existing data.

Abstract

The study focused on the development of insurance in Indonesia from time to time, with a review of its definitions and uses, which can be interpreted as an agreement in which the insurer binds himself to the insured by receiving a premium, to compensate for losses, or not to obtain the expected benefits, which can be borne due to events which is not known in advance. In order to get insurance coverage for risks that may occur, the insured must pay a premium to the insurance company within a certain period of time. Insurance in general means security, compensation, guarantee, protection. Insurance is a transfer of risk by paying premiums or fees (a certain amount) with a guarantee to get compensation in the form of benefits or packages (compensation) in the event of a certain loss (special loss) due to a risk (including the risk of illness). There are two essential elements in insurance, namely risk transfer and loss sharing. Insurance from an economic point of view is a method of reducing risk by moving and combining protection against financial losses. From another point of view, a business for example, is a company whose main business is receiving or selling services, transferring risks from other parties, and obtaining profits by sharing risks among a number of its customers. This study uses a literature review which is part of a qualitative study, which is related to the subject of insurance research in Indonesia.

Abstract

Floor area ratio (FAR) is a measurement, expressed as a decimal, that describes the total amount of usable floor space in a building compared to the size of the lot that the building is on. FAR using by building planner to maintain development standards and guide or restrict the development of local communities. In many cases FAR is an element of sustainability in urban environments so that residents are able to survive in a limited land environment. The FAR value is set locally by the local government. This research was conducted in one of block area of the urban in the center city of Yogyakarta, namely Malioboro. The measurement results with the urban modeling interface (UMI) software show that urban living in this area has a FAR value below the existing reference standard of 4.00. Averarge FAR is 1.125. This means that the formations of urban living still very suitable for habitation. It could be that the FAR value of 4 is a long-term orientation to maintain the quality quality of urban living dan sustainability.

Abstract

Road transportation accidents are a significant public health and safety issue worldwide. In Australia, regarding transport-related deaths, the age-standardized rate was higher in one specific year compared to the preceding year. This study aims to make visualization of crash data in Australia play a crucial role in understanding the country's current state of road safety and developing strategies to improve it. Data visualization techniques are essential in understanding and addressing road safety in Australia. New South Wales has the highest number of accidents in Australia, with 16,293 cases. Accidents in New South Wales are projected to decline gradually over the next three years. The peak time for accidents is 3 PM on weekdays, with males being more involved than females. Drivers are the most involved road users in accidents. Implementing targeted road safety initiatives, gender-specific awareness campaigns, and driver safety programs can help reduce accidents in New South Wales and create a safer environment for all road users. By analyzing accident data visually, patterns and trends can be identified, leading to targeted interventions and improved safety measures to reduce the number of accidents and fatalities on the roads.
