urnal Intervensi Sosial dan Pembangunan (JISP) is a journal that uses a peer review model that can be accessed online. The purpose of JISP is to publish a journal containing quality articles that will be able to contribute thoughts from a theoretical and empirical perspective for technological and educational advancement. The writings at JISP will significantly contribute to critical thinking in the scientific fields, particularly in the area of Social Sciences and Humanities. The scope of the fields contained in JISP covers the following areas: social sciences; social education; sociology; citizenship; political; socioeconomy; culture and society; culture and language; multiculturalism; globalisation; education; poverty and growth; and social issues. Articles published on research results and literature review with acceptable research methodologies, qualitative studies, quantitative studies, or a combination of both, statistical analysis, case studies, field research, and historical studies. JISP received manuscripts from various related circles, such as relevant researchers, professors, students, policy-makers, scientists and others.

Abstract

This research aims to understand how the framing analysis of the MUI's fatwa on the prohibition of pro-Israel products in the online media Kompas.com and Republika.co.id, displayed from November 10-19, 2023, is conducted. The theory used in this research is the framing analysis model by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki, which consists of four structural devices: syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in perspectives in framing news between Kompas.com and Republika.co.id. This can be seen as Kompas.com presents news that is neutral in nature and does not lean towards one side. Meanwhile, Republika.co.id in its reporting appears to be more pro-government, as in the fifth news article, Republika.co.id presents an invitation to join the boycott of pro-Israel products, with several entrepreneurs changing their raw materials. Keywords: Fatwa Haram, MUI, Boycott of Pro-Israel Products, Framing Analysis by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Abstract

Designing energy policies must consider aspects of social differences to create an inclusive society. This can be achieved by meeting the energy needs of each social class fairly and evenly. However, the experiences and needs of people with disabilities have not been a priority in energy policy making. People with disabilities often have less access to the energy sources they need. In addition, the energy needed by people with disabilities often does not match their needs. This article uses a capability approach to discuss the importance of considering people with disabilities in energy policy making and formulating an energy welfare framework for people with disabilities. Supported by a comprehensive literature study and critical reflection to collect, present, and interpret supporting data. This article produces three conclusions that support the creation of energy policies that support people with disabilities. First, it is important to know the barriers that limit the participation of people with disabilities in policy making. Second, these barriers can be overcome by reducing identity bias between people with disabilities and non-disabled people which can be done through a common ingroup identity framework. Third, by using a capability approach, policy makers must pay attention to what people with disabilities can do to support their lives without hindering their capacity. The author hopes that this article can be a step towards reforming more inclusive energy policies and that the energy rights of people with disabilities can be fulfilled evenly. Kata kunci: Disability; Energi; Policy; Inclusive

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of the communicator credibility of the Chairman of BEM FISIP UNSIKA 2023 on board performance. Communicator credibility is measured through expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness. Using a quantitative approach and simple linear regression analysis on 58 board members, the results indicate that trustworthiness significantly influences performance, while expertise and attractiveness do not have a significant impact. These findings emphasize that effective leadership in student organizations is primarily determined by the board’s trust in its leader rather than other factors. The recommendation for student organization leaders is to build trust through transparent communication, responsiveness, and active engagement in organizational dynamics.Keywords: Communicator credibility, board performance, trustworthiness, leadership, student organization

Abstract

Sexual violence against children is a very complex social problem, so advocacy support for children’s recovery is needed from various parties, especially Social Workers who provide intervetions to prevent and restore social dysfunction, both in individuals, groups, and society. Sexual violence against children can have an impact on the child’s physical and psycological condition, so this research aims to determine the advocacy role of Social Workers for child victims of sexual violence at Sentra Bahagia and the obstacles they face. This research was conducted at Sentra Bahagia Medan. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were obtained form primary data through observation, interviews documentation, as well as secondary data through literature studies, journals, books internet sources. The research results show that the role of Social Workers in advocacy support for child victims of sexual violence at Sentra Bahagia is to provide assistance, protection, education and facilitation, both in the child’s recovery process and in the process of resolving children’s cases. The obstacles faced by Social Workers include: lack of family participation due to a number of factors such as residence outside the city of Medan and the family's economic conditions which are still difficult; the child's psychosocial condition which influences the difficulty of cooperation in determining joint decisions due to the trauma they have experienced; and changes in the service paradigm at Sentra Bahagia.Keywords: Advocacy, Social Worker, Children, Sexual Violence.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of Motion graphics in digital marketing strategies, especially on Instagram, with a case study of the Eraspacetival event. The use of Motion graphics proved effective in attracting audience attention and increasing brand visibility, which had a positive impact on increasing sales and brand loyalty. Through descriptive qualitative methods and Kress and van Leeuwen's multimodality approach, as well as Anstey and Bull's five semiotic elements (linguistic, visual, audio, gestural and spatial), this study identifies how these elements work synergistically in Eraspacetival's Motion content. The results show that persuasive linguistic elements reinforce the message, interactive visuals draw audience engagement, and upbeat sound effects and music enhance interaction. The gestural and spatial elements guide the audience in understanding the flow of information, so the Motion content succeeds in creating significant interaction, evidenced by the increase in likes and comments from the audience.Keywords: Motion Graphic, Marketing Communication, Multimodal, Eraspacetival

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat menjadi salah satu pendekatan penting dalam upaya peningkatan taraf hidup, terutama di kawasan pedesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menganalisis efektivitas model kolaborasi pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis pengolahan pangan di Desa Durensewu. Model ini mengintegrasikan peran masyarakat lokal, pemerintah, dan stakeholder terkait untuk menciptakan ekosistem agribisnis yang mandiri dan berkelanjutan. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi yang efektif mampu meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengolah hasil pertanian menjadi produk pangan bernilai tambah. Selain itu, model ini juga membuka peluang pasar yang lebih luas, menciptakan lapangan kerja baru, dan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengolahan pangan berbasis kolaborasi dapat menjadi solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat pedesaan. Untuk itu, diperlukan penguatan pelatihan teknis, dukungan kebijakan pemerintah, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan dari berbagai pihak untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program.
