Abstract

Gabuswetan District is one of the centers for catfish hatchery in the Indramayu Regency. In the seed production process, there are obstacles, namely the lack of knowledge of farmers on good fish hatchery methods so that the survival rate of seeds is low which results in unfulfilled market demand. This activity was conducted from March 11 to May 24, 2019 with cultivators as respondents in Sekarmulya Village, Gabuswetan District, Indramayu. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of farmers on good fish hatchery methods through the application of semi-intensive technology by delivering counseling using demonstration methods and making pilot ponds. The results showed an increase in knowledge, attitudes, and skills of the target, namely cultivators after the demonstration activity was carried out by involving the target directly in the production process. In the final stage of innovation adoption, two cultivators apply the given innovation.

Abstract

Community Service (PkM) partner are located in Kp. Cipalahlar RT. 010/005 Sukaragam Village, Serang Baru District, Bekasi Regency, Jawa Barat Province. The Kp. Cipalahlar, although.it is surrounded by a residential area and not far from an industrial area in Bekasi, this village has received less attention from the Bekasi Regency Government, it can be seen the electrical cable network that is connected to the houses of the villagers is only put on trees and no electricity poles at all. So, it can be understood when in Kp. Cipalahlar does not have public street lighting facility (PJU) so when night comes the village becomes very dark. Therefore, to help residents get lighting at night, especially lighting on concrete roads, the community service (PkM0 team installed three public street lighting (PJU). The PJU is very useful for residents to carry out their activities at night such as going to the mosque for congregational prayers. The mosque will be lively with the presence of children to recite the Qur’an. The type of PJU installed is PJU based on solar cell panels because it is more practical and requires almost no maintenance in operation and has a long service life, up to 25-30 years.

Abstract

Pandemy of Corona virus disease 2019 (Covid-19) has overwhelmed the word for nearly two years. Indonesia is one countries that been hit hard by Covid-19. Even though most of patients with positive test of Covid-19 had no symptoms or mild some of them reported persistent clinical symptoms months after test negative. This population with disorder whose terminology Long Covid-19 need health care to help them cope with this condition. In this need Department of Pulmonology and Respiratory medicine initiate community service activity for Covid-19 survival with Long Covid-19 in the formulation Hotline Service on Post Covid-19 Health Problem. Survivors of Covid-19 who accessed this service originated from variety geographic region in Indonesia. This Activity reached 60 survivors were mostly female (57%), in age group of young adult (62%) and dominant with mild symptoms (58%). Recommendation for these survivors whose mild symptoms was self care observation. There were still about 25 survivors (42%) who need further health care with appropriate speciality.

Abstract

Bumdes is a Village Owned Enterprise as Landungsari Village of Malang Regency has Bumdes Tirto. Of the various problems Bumdes Tirto Landungsari Village has several main problems, namely Bumdes does not have good governance, does not have long-term or short-term goals as a basis for carrying out its operational plan. Bumdes Tirto already has employees and people who work but do not have an organizational structure and job description. The impact is that Bumdes manager works alone and does not yet have a goal. The problem-solving solution offered to partners is done by training in the preparation of Organizational Structure and Job Description, socialization of the importance of work programs and training in creating work programs. Then conducted training and video creation Profile as a socialization stakeholders. Related to the improvement of the performance of the Village Market business unit, discussions have been conducted about the implementation procedures of online marketing. The purpose of this activity is the increasing knowledge of partner human resources about good governance in Bumdes and the establishment of a Blueprint consisting of long-term and short-term bumdes programs and the arrangement of bumdes profile videos as bumdes socialization media.

Abstract

Oyster mushroom cultivation is one of the economic drivers of the Bojong Koneng Village community. Standard operating procedures have been developed through a research process and have been well implemented in carrying out the mushroom cultivation. The development of downstream products from oyster mushroom cultivation harvests that have been carried out has become the focus of community service activities as value added that can improve the economy of the people of Bojong Koneng Village. The product developed as a continuation of the cultivation program is mushroom chips which have a good taste, crunchy texture, and high protein content. Community service activities are carried out through counseling, focus group discussions, mushroom chip making practices, and monitoring. The impact of this activity is able to increase the knowledge and skills of the people of Bojong Koneng Village and it is hoped that it can increase the productivity of the village community for better welfare.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities packaged in the form of mentoring and training is to increase community knowledge in managing village potential in the fields of fisheries, agriculture and home industry to make Koto Benai Tourism Village a tourist area. The method in this service activity consists of lectures and direct practice in the field. This activity was carried out from July to August 2021 in Koto Benai Village, Kutan Singingi Regency. The stages carried out are, socialization, FGD and training as well as mentoring and monitoring. The results of service activities regarding exploring the local potential of the village are an effort to encourage solving problems by looking at the problems in the village community itself. The training provided on environmentally friendly fisheries, as well as counseling in the field of agriculture and training in the home industry. The level of achievement of the PKM program targets can be said to be successful. This can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test given to participants. As well as for BUDIKDAMBER fish cultivation, the community can enjoy the kale harvest 2 times a month. The yield of kale is Rp. 120,000 x 3 months is Rp. 360,000 while the yield of catfish: 16 kg x Rp. 20,000 = Rp. 320,000 and a profit of Rp. 160,000 so that this can improve the local community's economy.

Abstract

Small islands have short rivers characteristics, small catchment areas so that the ability to absorb rainwater into the ground is also reduced, such as the flow of rivers in Senggarang, Tanjungpinang City. Research related to aquatic biodiversity in Senggarang river flow has been carried out, the availability of information about the freshwater ecosystems that exist there is an interesting thing to inform the high school students as a generation of learners who lived near Senggarang river. The introduction of the aquatic biota of Senggarang river is expected to increase the sense of care, willingness, and insight in saving the resources of aquatic biota of Senggarang river flow will be sustainable. An introduction to the aquatic biota of the Senggarang river flow with the participants of class XI State High School 6 Tanjungpinang. The activity was carried out in three stages, namely a pre-test of knowledge about aquatic biota of the Senggarang river flow through quizizz media, education of any aquatic biota in the Senggarang river through e-catalog media containing pictures and descriptions of biota identification, and post-test with the same questions as the pre-test through the quizizz media to measure the extent to which students recognition, knowledge, and understanding have increased regarding the aquatic biota of the Senggarang river. The level of recognition, knowledge, and understanding of students increased from a very low–moderate range to a moderate–high range. Teaching media in the form of an e-catalog is very effective in introducing aquatic biota from the Senggarang river flow, according to the target stakeholders who are still in high school education.

Abstract

The nelpin application has an impact on the production process of local fishermen. Demonstrating how to use the Nelpin Application is a way to introduce the Nelpin Application to facilitate the fishing process so that it is expected to be more optimal in fishing activities and increase production results. The mentoring was conducted for 3 months from March 8 to June 5, 2021 at KUB Kembung, Tidung Island, South Thousand Islands District, DKI Jakarta Province. The results showed an increase in income of Rp. 309,000 within one month. The demonstration program on how to use the Nelpin application also saw changes in the knowledge aspect by 47.2%, and the attitude aspect increased by 18.2%, which initially agreed to strongly agree, as well as the skill aspect where the average member obtained was quite therapist to be skilled. The impact of using the Nelpin Application is that the average yield of fishermen's production increases by 7.7% which affects fishermen's income. In the calculation of business analysis carried out on average, fishermen found BEP = 39.8 Units, PP = 1.32, RC = 2.6 with a selling price of Rp. 25,000, and the income earned is Rp. 4,309,000 with a profit of Rp. 309,000, with a total production cost of Rp. 1,644,999/month.

Abstract

Dissemination is one form of activity to obtain information aimed at individuals or target groups who meet the qualifications. This activity aims to apply the dissemination of aquaculture technology with community nutrition self-help activities through side dishes and vegetables produced from the Yumina-Bumina fish farming method. In addition, the existence of Yumina-Bumina cultivation technology is expected to provide convenience for the community, especially stunting areas, to increase their livelihoods by carrying out fish cultivation activities that do not require a large place and a lot of water. This activity was carried out in three groups of fish farmers in Cisaladah Village, Cigombong District, Bogor Regency. The stages of activities carried out in community service activities include socialization, training and mentoring. The dissemination activities of Yumina-Bumina aquaculture technology products to the community that have been carried out have been carried out thanks to the collaboration of the service team, village officials and fish cultivator groups in creating and developing a productive herbivorous fish farming business, so as to encourage community economic improvement

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan karena siswa sekolah dasar di MIS Annur Prima Medan kurang megetahui cara cuci tangan yang baik dan benar sesuai panduan World Health Organization (WHO). Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi cara cuci tangan yang baik dan benar kepada siswa sekolah dasar guna pencegahan penyebaran COVID-19 di lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, dimana nantinya akan tergambarkan hasil edukasi yang dilakukan melalui rekapan pretest dan posttest. Edukasi yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini adalah pengembangan metode berbasis keaktifan siswa yang merupakan modifikasi dari Community Based Interactive Approach (CBIA). Kegiatan dilakukan dengan melakukan pretest, pemaparan materi, games, lomba cuci tangan, dan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil rekap pretest dan posttest, dapat diketahui bahwa dari semua aspek yang ditanyakan kepada peserta mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Persentase peserta mengetahui langkah cuci tangan yang baik dan benar menurut WHO meningkat sebesar 57%, peserta mengetahui penyebab penyebaran infeksi akibat tidak mencuci tangan meningkat sebesar 47%, peserta mengetahui durasi mencuci tangan dengan hand sanitizer atau sabun meningkat sebesar 46% dan peserta mengetahui kapan waktu yang tepat untuk cuci tangan meningkat 53%. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini efektif untu k mengedukasi masyarakat terutama siswa mengenai cara cuci tangan yang baik dan benar menurut WHO.
