<![CDATA[One of the new essential competencies in the revised 2013 Curriculum is understanding village financial management. Basic competence to understand village financial management is urgent to learn because of new knowledge in accounting. Therefore, teachers must move to learn from various sources, including academics. This community service activity aims to increase understanding of the scope of village financial management and knowledge of income, expenditure, and village financing activities. Furthermore, a comprehensive evaluation of the training is carried out to compile reports on village assets. The training activity was attended by 80 vocational high schools (SMK) accounting teachers in Pemalang using virtual zoom meetings. The result is that teachers can understand the scope of village financial management and its functions. The concepts of income, expenditure and financing can be carefully understood and practised how to apply them. The accounting basis used is the cash basis, so that so far, the financial records are still straightforward]]>

<![CDATA[Argodadi village is located in Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, DIY. Its hilly and calcareous soil conditions and rice fields without technical irrigation lead to drought, therefore farmers initiated for planting of aloe vera. The Demangan Village Farmers community is one of the groups that cultivate aloe vera plants. They have 20 members with 1,000 m2 area of aloe vera plant. The resulted aloe vera leaves were sold to the aloe vera gel drink producer with low prices. The purpose of this activity was to develop aloe vera leaf processing into aloe vera candy- functional food to increase their income and to diversify aloe vera gel processing. The activity used counseling method, practice and assistance to transfer technology in making aloe vera soft candy and the packaging methods. The results showed that the skills of the farmers in making candy were increased, which shown by the bright colors and good textures of the aloe vera soft candy from their practice. The moisture content of the candy appropriate with quality standard and the candy had antioxidative activity. However, it was need assistance in the application of this technology to guarantee for the sustainability as an effort to increase income.]]>

<![CDATA[Sei Tualang Raso Subdistrict is one of the sub-districts in Tanjungbalai City, North Sumatra which has potential in the field of capture fisheries, which has 834 Capture Fisheries Households (RTP) which are incorporated into 3 Joint Business Groups (KUB) and have an average catch 2.100.4 kg/month with an income level of Rp. 28,460,000,-/month. The low level of income obtained is because the technology used is still traditional and has not used a fish finder. The purpose of this activity is to increase income and the role and function of the group as a forum for cooperation through the use of fish finder tools. The method used through the fishery extension program is in the form of group meetings, demonstrations of methods and conducting extension evaluations.]]>

<![CDATA[ON SPOT is a street vendor business engaged in contemporary beverages with the main ingredients of functional food yogurt and kefir. Not long ago, ON SPOT experienced problems in the form of losing its market due to restrictions on community activities during the pandemic, so it had to change the target market from students to housewives to stay afloat. The strategy is to process yogurt and kefir into mambo ice sticks that are more easily accepted by housewives. However, it is necessary to make good business development efforts so that products are more accepted by consumers such as products that have been produced with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and have business legality to ensure product quality. The methods carried out in community counseling are in the form of training and mentoring approaches to ON SPOT, so that ON SPOT can develop business better and have business legality. Entrepreneurial devotion activities carried out, produce ON SPOT products produced with GMP standards so as to ensure products are safe to consume and have legality in the form of business licenses.]]>

<![CDATA[The economic level of the city of Pekanbaru experienced a significant increase in 2019 which was 6.01% from previous years, but since the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in 2020, the economic condition of the city of Pekanbaru has decreased by around 2.3%. This figure is considered quite worrying for the economic condition of the people of Pekanbaru City if there are no efficient steps to overcome it.Currently the people of Pekanbaru City are required to be more innovative in utilizing existing resources by considering the narrow and limited urban conditions. Cultivation of catfish (Clarias gariepinus) by utilizing tarpaulin buckets "Bule Empal - Catfish Cultivation Bucket Tarpaulin" is one of the innovations in developing alternative livelihoods for people in urban areas who have narrow land with a relatively short maintenance time of about 3 months. In order to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Education, Research, and Service. Academics can provide guidance through knowledge transfer activities, applications and assistance to community business groups to apply Bule Empal "Catfish Aquaculture with Tarpaulin Buckets" in the context of developing alternative livelihoods for the community in the midst of economic problems due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With this integrated Kukerta, the potential for neglected yards can be raised for cultivation. This shows that the touch of science and technology through integrated Kukerta is able to accelerate the development of catfish farming in the Binawidya Village of Kota Pekanbaru.]]>

<![CDATA[The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on MSME players, especially in the Bengkalis area. Bengkalis is an archipelago which is a strategic place to promote MSME products to other countries such as Malaysia and Singapore. The ability to use various applications and content creation for digital marketing is an obstacle for Bengkalis UMKM Community members. This is especially the case for the Baby boomers and Gen X people who were not familiar with communication technology such as smartphones at their young ages. Changes in consumers' purchasing patterns from offline to online provide challenges for MSME actors to master digital skills. Through community service, coaching and training were carried out for these business actors who become activity partners. The community service program aimed to provide knowledge and skills to Bengkalis MSME members to gain skills in digital marketing. This program was carried out through face-to-face and online meetings via zoom meetings so that participants can continue to be fostered for three months. Based on surveys to participants, it was found that this program increases the number of consumers on social media through the content they create during coaching. In addition, participants also managed to understand how to create good content to share on social media.]]>

<![CDATA[The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on all areas of human life. The Indonesian government's efforts to reduce the number of sufferers and transmission of Covid-19 continue to be carried out, one of which is through socialization of Covid-19 prevention. In the midst of the spread of the government's plan for vaccination, various hoaxes have sprung up which are spread by accounts that do not have the knowledge capacity. The understanding of vaccination among villagers is still unclear, so socialization about vaccination is needed. The development of the hoax is very dangerous. As an effort to handle this case, socialization and guidance about the Covid-19 vaccine was carried out to the people of Sari Mulya Village which coincided on July 15, 2021. This socialization was tried directly to the community. The socialization linked the residents of Sari Mulya Village and the Pangkalan Lesung Health Center. This activity was attempted as an effort to help socialize the importance of the Covid-19 vaccination program. The results of this socialization are expected to increase people's knowledge of how important vaccination is to correct lifestyles so that they can return to stability.]]>

<![CDATA[This article is the result of community service activities, which were carried out at the Bumdes Taiba Smart in Tarai Bangun Village, Kampar. The focus of community service activities carried out is the strengthening of the Bumdes Taiba Smart institution, which is geographically located on the border of Pekanbaru City and Kampar Regency. The Bumdes institutions that exist there basically already have an organizational structure and coexist well with the village government, but there are some challenges that are difficult to solve so that they require brainstorming carried out in community service activities. This community service is through a pattern of brainstorming and regular assistance within 3 months with an offline and online pattern, because there are limitations during July – September 2021, there is a PPKM policy to suppress the Covid 19 pandemic. The challenges found are increasingly difficult for Bumdes Tarai Bangun especially during the pandemic At this time, there was a transition in the community's economy in several sectors. There is not too much local potential that can be utilized and the activities of the Bumdes Taiba Smart are less varied. However, indeed, this community service activity is still not maximal, but it has been able to provide restoration and institutional strengthening for the Taiba Smart Bumdes.]]>

<![CDATA[Solid waste from oil palm trunks after replanting activities in oil palm plantations has the potential to be utilized. However, the community's perspective considers that oil palm trunks cannot be utilized because they are easy to mold and have low strength. The application of innovation and technology will be able to provide solutions to community empowerment and utilization of the potential of oil palm trunks. The purpose of the service activity is to provide assistance to innovation and technology on how to use palm oil trunk waste as raw material for furniture and building interior products in Pancurangading Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The results of service activities can be declared successful in providing community understanding, attitudes, and skills. The success rate of the program based on pre-test and post-test data was 37.5% (do not understand) and increased to 84.7% (understand). People's perceptions of oil palm trunks have been able to change so that they are able to understand, utilize and produce palm wood raw materials into various variants of furniture and building interiors. Utilization of oil palm trunks can provide business opportunities for the community in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[The consumption of vegetables and fruit for the Indonesian population is currently still below the recommended one. The potential for low consumption of vegetables and vegetables is found in children, especially preschoolers. Preschoolers enter an important phase that will determine eating habits and behavior. For this reason, nutrition education is needed in order to increase children's love for healthy food. Efforts to foster a love of healthy food in children are needed by educators. The problems that arise faced by educators are the lack of knowledge related to child nutrition education and the right media and methods to introduce nutrition education in the era of the Covid 19 pandemic. Service activities have provided educators, knowledge related to nutrition education for preschool children, simulation of child health protocols in schools and making appropriate learning media for preschoolers during the Covid 19 pandemic by the Nutrition Science Study Program Service Team of the Faculty of Health Sciences in collaboration with the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Elementary School Teachers Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Alma Ata University. The service method used goes through three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. All these stages are directly accompanied by the service team. The location of this service activity is in TK Negeri 1 Pajangan, Pajangan, Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region. The results of the activity evaluation show that the knowledge of nutrition education that has been given has increased from the average knowledge score between pre and post-test which has increased from 70 to 73.87. Educators have also been able to apply health protocols in schools, namely by practicing 4 M and being able to make learning media in the form of learning videos.]]>
