Abstract

RW 08 of Sialang Sakti Sub-district, Tenayan Raya District society, majority work as brick craftsmen and mostly carried out by men, while the majority of women work as housewives. In an effort to increase the productivity of housewives and in the establishment of food security, urban farming programs are implemented in this area. The method used is Verticulture. Verticulture method is used because of the weakness of this area which is limited land and poor nutrients in the existing soil. This method also does not need to use a large area of land so that it is easily applied by the community. The planting medium used in this method is used bottles filled with black soil and hung on 0.5 inch ram wire and installed on the walls of residents' houses. The plants grown are bok choy vegetables, green onions and purslane flowers. Mentoring is carried out by the 2021 Kukerta Students by means of lectures and direct practice. This activity has a positive impact on the community and high enthusiasm is also shown by the community. This activity is expected to be an initial movement in the formation of food security and increasing community productivity and increasing people's income. This technology makes it easier for people to obtain vegetables that are cleaner and cheaper.

Abstract

Pematang Pudu Village is one of the villages in Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency which is approximately 116 km from Pekanbaru city. Based on information from residents of RT 02 RW 10 Km 5 Jalan Rangau, Pematang Pudu Village often floods. Floods in this area can be caused by overflowing river water, reduced rainwater catchment areas due to construction and land clearing. This biopore infiltration hole is a simple technology that does not require expensive and effective rainwater absorption. In addition, through this technology, it can reduce organic waste and make biocompost to be used as organic fertilizer that can fertilize plants. The purpose of this service activity is to provide knowledge and skills to the community about the benefits of vertical biopore technology and increase public awareness to prevent flooding. The method used in this service activity is the delivery of material using powerpoint media and field practice and involving community members in RT 02 RW 10 Pematang Pudu Village. The results of this service activity show that 38% of socialization participants have a score range between 75-80, 13.66% of socialization participants have a range of values between 85-90, and 28% of socialization participants have a range of values between 95-100. It can be stated that the provision of training has an effect on increasing public knowledge about biopore infiltration holes.

Abstract

Seagrass ecosystems contribute to food security, climate change mitigation, and biodiversity, yet they are vulnerable to changes in the environment. Environmental factors, both natural and human-caused, are the primary cause of the loss in the area of seagrass ecosystems. Transplanting or sowing seagrass is one method for addressing this issue. The goal of this project is to maintain the seagrass environment and give coastal people with knowledge so that they may contribute to the conservation of coastal habitats, particularly seagrass ecosystems, in Pengudang Village, Bintan. The seeding process starts with a search for seagrass in areas with a dense seagrass habitat. Enhalus acoroides was chosen as the seeding object in this investigation. The findings revealed that 78% of respondents were highly aware of the existence of seagrass ecosystems (perception), 28% were very aware of the function and existence of seagrass ecosystems (understanding), and 86% significantly participated in seagrass ecosystem conservation (participation).

Abstract

Household waste is waste that comes from daily activities in the household which does not include feces and specific waste. Improper waste management can have a negative impact on the surrounding environment. Based on the complaints of the people of RT 09 RW 03 in Wadung Village, waste processing in the area is considered not to be carried out comprehensively and caused a negative impact, such as air pollution which also affect the level of public health. Wadung Village needs digital media to improve skills in waste management. A simple media website, which is able to provide education about waste and the use of high-value products is expected to be able to provide solutions for the local community. Through the Community Service Student Creativity Program, we have a solution called "Innovation of Ecopreneur-Based Household Waste Management Platform for the Community of Wadung Village, Pakisaji Malang". This concept uses the blended learning method, which combines teaching with face-to-face and online. In addition, this concept combines three important components in sustainable development, namely environmental, economic and social care. When solution implemented, the public has understood the importance of waste management, the implementation of digital ecopreneurs, and the utilization of the PORTALBIN platform.

Abstract

The ideal condition is that teachers must be competent in conditioning students to be ready to face AKM. The current condition, the ability of teachers in developing assessment instruments is still low. They prefer shortcuts using a collection of questions sold in the market. Therefore, this community service activity is focused on providing guidance for junior high school teachers in preparing tests to face the AKM. The method used to achieve the objectives of this activity is a lecture with an in-on-in pattern. Documents that need to be prepared so that the service runs effectively are preparing powerpoint materials and supporting materials (observation sheets and questionnaires). All participants' responses to the AKM surgical workshop showed a positive response (with a percentage above 50%), except for one variable that received a low score, namely the login problem. The results of the documentation analysis showed that all participants collected the complete set of questions completely. The accuracy of writing the grid is in the range of 69% - 75% and the accuracy of writing the questions lies in the range of 84% - 100%. Based on the results of the questionnaire and the results of document analysis, it can be concluded that community service in AKM workshop activities is quite effective.

Abstract

Partners realize that the production of cultivated fish can still be increased, one of which is by monitoring water quality by providing aeration to maintain water health. Partners need a technological assistance that can improve the quality of results and production levels in a shorter time, and of course not incur large electricity costs from using this technology. This community service program activity is designed to solve partner problems. The proposal team provided a technology product called E-Ox Level, a proven technology to monitor pond water quality and control the aerator engine to keep it at optimum water quality standards. This technology is energy efficient, because it utilizes solar energy. This product can reduce operating costs and increase production yields. This program shows positive results. The results of its installation in the Budikdamber pond showed that the growth rate of fish length and weight was faster than the pond without the help of technology, and the mortality rate was recorded to be lower. These results are similar when the technological device is applied to larger biofloc ponds.

Abstract

SMK N 1 Sukasada is one of the Vocational High Schools in Singaraja. In the current pandemic, teachers and students have several problems. The decline in economic power for the majority of the community is one of the factors. Students must provide their tools and materials to participate in practical classes. Likewise, when teachers give online practicums. Economic problems will impact the inability to try practical activities. They are unable to provide tools and materials independently. Another problem, the attention of students to participate in learning activities. An effort is needed for teachers to increase students' interest in learning online. The creation of 3D assets is one of the basics to be able to use Augmented Reality technology. However, the teachers have not been prepared for training to create 3D assets. To solve this problem, community service activities are carried out for teachers in the form of basic 3D animation training
