Abstract

One of the primary factors that most affects the development of cardiovascular disease is hypertension. According to the Framingham Heart Study, hypertension is now more common than it was in the past. There are 757 patients with hypertension in the Astambul Health Center's service area in the Banjar Regency as of 2021. The aim of the community service conducted in Astambul District families with geriatric hypertension is to reduce blood pressure by giving the patients' foot soak therapy with warm ginger. The community service method is carried out by carrying out the preliminary stages, the implementation—which includes counseling, blood pressure measurements, demonstrations and evaluation. The family and the elderly enthusiastically participating in soaking feet in warm red ginger water is proof that the activities were carried out well in accordance with the program design that had been created. Additionally, following the intervention, the systolic blood pressure dropped by 0.4 mmHg. The participants reported experiencing at ease and relaxed after soaking their feet in warm red ginger water, which reduced tension in their body muscles.

Abstract

This program's goal is to educate 49 RTs in Batuah village, Kutai Kartanegara district, about how special assistance funds are managed and accounted for. Another objective is to give examples of evidence that can be accounted for so that the government, including the head of the RT and the village, is not entangled in the misappropriation of funds from the State or Region. With regard to the accountability management of special assistance funds for 49 RTs in Batuah village, Kutai Kartanegara district, the outcomes of the training activities were able to offer the participants significant benefits. It also stressed that regardless of assistance value, funds obtained from State or Regional finances must be used responsibly and supported by evidence that is both valid and trustworthy.

Abstract

This community service's goal is to inform and enlighten the moms of the Family Welfare Empowerment Group (PKK) so they can uphold the quality of processed foods and assist applications for submitting Household Industry Production Numbers (PIRT). The implementation method is carried out with food safety training for home industry products. The program's outcome is an improvement in the partner's skill, which is demonstrated by their acquisition of post-training test points above 60.

Abstract

Bukit Mahoni is located in Bangun Rejo Village, becoming a candidate for a new tourist destination in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Capitalizing on the natural potential in the form of a hill overgrown with Mahogany trees, it is encouraging for the local Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) to be promoted as a new tourist spot. This program was carried out in collaboration with the Pokdarwis Mentari Bangun Rejo with the aim of providing support for the readiness of new tourism objects in Bangun Rejo. All activities are carried out by accommodating the needs of tourism infrastructure so as to build appropriate outputs, namely Pergola and Flower Garden. Through this Community Service it is hoped that residents can utilize, maintain and care for the facilities that have been builded.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country with a strategic plan for the development of a maritime-based economic sector that is integrated with blue economy principles. Improving the quality of life of coastal communities is a central issue of sustainable development. Tiger prawn breeding is a competitive advantage for coastal communities through hatchery and marketing of export quality seeds. The low level of understanding of coastal communities in the management of tiger shrimp culture has an impact on the climate of business independence, so this is also a focus of problems in community partnership service activities. Optimizing the role of women as a representative of the coastal gender economy is a novelty goal and value that must be achieved in order to realize the ideals of a blue economy that supports national economic development through the maritime sector. The development of competitive advantage in Muara Badak Subdistrict, Kukar Regency is carried out using pre-activity input methods, activity processes, outputs and mentoring evaluations to strengthen family and business financial literacy, marketing management, to provide stimulation in the form of strategies in dealing with the threat of export failure and others. The result of the program is an increase in the capability of tiger prawn breeding business actors in Muara Badak District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on the use of information technology to do business and market products belonging to the residents of Sugihmas village. Activities are carried out through training and mentoring. The result of this activity is the utilization of e-commerce and social media applications for marketing activities that can cover a wider market. With this information technology use training program, it is hoped that it will be able to improve the economic quality of the Sugihmas villagers through product innovation from plastic waste recycling and strengthening digital marketing.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to increase digital marketing knowledge and skills for pothil MSME actors so they can develop their business. This program method consists of several stages, namely observation, outreach, digital marketing training, and mentoring. The result of this training is that MSMEs already have Facebook (Pothilinaja) and Instagram (Pothilin_aja) accounts which can be used to market their products widely.

Abstract

This community service's goal is to prepare children for the New Normal by educating them about the corona virus, media and transmission methods, signs of infection, physical and social isolation, and how to adjust to and discipline strict measures to prevent transmission. The method of this dedication is by socializing and practicing how to wash hands according to WHO, cleaning objects that can be intermediaries for transmission, wearing masks, keeping a safe distance, increasing self-immunity by exercising diligently, taking vitamins and consuming nutritious food. Every person, including children, should take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. The presence of discipline in this prevention effort and the ability to adjust to the new normal will be a turning point in the battle against the corona virus.

Abstract

In the new normal era, clean and healthy living practices include always following health protocols like keeping a safe distance, washing hands, and donning masks. This Integrated Community Service Activity aims to increase public knowledge and awareness regarding clean and healthy lifestyles and improve the health and hygiene status. Implementation of this activity is carried out with outreach, training, and mentoring. As a result, more people are aware of the importance of health protocols in the New Normal era, the latest variant of Covid-19 to the therapy needed, how to make hand sanitizer, and an increase in children's knowledge about herbal candies. All activities are expected to be able to enhancing the community's health and standard of living.

Abstract

Provision of village funds requires preparation starting from proper planning, monitoring and evaluation to improve the welfare and economic level of the community. Dusun Karaharjan Rt 02 Rw 03 Gunungpring Village, Magelang, Central Java, is one of the areas that received village funds. Nevertheless, some of the funds are still underutilized. Therefore, in order for these village funds to be managed independently and effectively, the community is taught various skills such as reading and understanding working drawings, breaking down the scope of work, calculating the volume of work, analyzing unit prices, and making a comprehensive budget plan for construction work. The method used in this activity is a holistic implementation approach. Through this activity, an increase in knowledge and skills regarding technical building planning is obtained so that it is expected to improve the quality of village infrastructure.
