FOKUS, Jurnal Ilmu Sosial dan Politik, kali ini memulai tampil dalam kemasan baru. Tampilan dan gaya baru bukanlah berarti menafikkan eksistensi dan substansi keilmuan, terutama ranah kajian administrasi publik. Terbitan ke 17 nomor 1, Maret 2019, tentunya banyak harapan dan tantangan yang masih harus dibenahi oleh Tim Penyunting. terutama yang berkaitan dengan isi, dimana edisi Jurnal kali ini belum dapat menyatukan tulisan dalam satu tofik (monograf). Namun demikian, tidaklah berarti mengurangi telaah substansi pembahasan sebuah persoalan keilmuan. Kritik yang bermanfaat sangat dihargai, namun bukan berarti kritik yang tidak bermanfaat tidak dihargai, hanya barangkali cara menempatkan kritik itu yang berbeda. Sebab semua kritik tentulah bermanfaat terlebih untuk Jurnal FOKUS ini. Semoga Jurnal FOKUS kedepan akan tampil semakin sempurna dan mampu menggugah kesadaran untuk menampilkan tulisan yang sangat erat terkait dengan ruang lingkup Ilmu Administrasi Publik dan mencapai tujuan bernegara yang bermuara pada penyelesaian persoalan publik (masyarakat), tentunya kontribusi yang tidak sebatas ide semata, namun yang sangat utama tentulah aksi-aksi (actions) konkrit.

This study examines community participation in improving the quality of services to the community. Using a qualitative analysis method approach, data was collected through interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis. The findings show that active community involvement actively improves service quality through increased transparency, accountability and responsiveness. Key themes found include positive experiences of community engagement, challenges such as low community awareness and limited resources, and the important role of technology and inclusive mechanisms in facilitating participation. The analysis showed a positive relationship between community participation and service quality. This study concludes that, despite challenges, effective community participation can be optimized through public education, the use of technology, inclusive participation mechanisms, and strengthening the policy framework. Suggestions include improving public literacy, utilizing information technology, and partnering with civil society organizations to achieve more effective and efficient public service delivery.

A response is an answer or reaction to an action, event, or situation that occurs. Influenced by applicable policies and regulations. And it is very important to do this, because if you do not respond to policies it will cause problems, namely weakening the effectiveness of those who make and implement policies, reduce trust and damage social and legal order. Researchers are interested in answering this problem by trying to answer the problem formulation: How has the Sumbermulyo District Government responded to the COVID-19 Management Policy? The aim of this research is to describe or illustrate existing phenomena and the facts that occur. So the method used is a qualitative research method with a narrative approach. The object of this research is the Response of the Sumbermulyo District Government to the COVID-19 Management Policy. The informants for this research were the Village Head, Village Secretary, Hamlet Head, Community Elements, and Sumbermulyo Village Community Protection Unit Officers. The Sumbermulyo Village Government's response to the COVID-19 Management Policy is as a follow-up to the policy made by the Government. The Sumbermulyo Village Government is following the orders given by the supravillage Government. The Sumbermulyo District Government in responding to COVID-19 formed Village volunteers to fight COVID-19 starting from the Village Headquarters down to the Padukuhan level, through Village Head Decree and Village Regulations, spraying disinfectant in all Padukuhan, forming Village quarantine houses, Handling using Village Funds and making changes to APBDes. Therefore, the researcher provides advice: In responding to policies, you must look at the capabilities of the sub-district and the condition of the community, not just follow orders. In handling it, you should not only focus on using Village Funds, but also utilize other financial sources, such as ADD, PADes, and other legitimate assistance.

The problem in the research is the importance of managing village assets in the village government area as capital in village development. The data collection process requires an approach, coordination and supervision so that the data obtained can become valid data for the village government. The research results show that the data collection system implemented requires a work team that has been allocated data collection time as well as various village assets that must be included in the data collection. The village assets that must be recorded are village treasury land and existing village inventory items. Data collection is intended to obtain an overview of various village potentials which can be used as development planning based on community interests. Coordination during data collection is carried out in stages externally and internally to avoid conflicts with the community and also with villages bordering Mandiri Jaya village.

Abstract: Effective village financial management is the key to increasing transparency, accountability and efficient use of the village budget. The Village Financial System Application (SISKEUDES) aims to assist village governments in managing finances in a systematic and easily accessible manner. This study analyzes the implementation of SISKEUDES in Rumbih Village, Silat Hilir District, Kapuas Hulu Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews, direct observation and document analysis. The research results show that the implementation of SISKEUDES has succeeded in increasing accuracy and speed in financial recording, making it easier to prepare financial reports, and improving the village financial monitoring and evaluation system. However, several obstacles such as limited human resources and technological infrastructure need to be overcome to optimize the use of this application. Continuous training support, increased internet access, and technical assistance are very necessary to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of SISKEUDES in Rumbih Village.

Abstract The problem raised in this research is the implementation of public information in the Sintang Regency Communication and Information Service. It is known that the Bureaucratic Structure is a system carried out by public bodies in accordance with their respective duties and functions and is an implementing element of the Regional Government led by the Head of Service who is under and responsible to the Regent through the Regional Secretary in accordance with their area of authority. The Sintang Regency Communication and Informatics Service has the main task of carrying out government affairs in the fields of Communication and Informatics, Statistics and Coding. Disposition in implementing policies is the attitude of implementers in implementing policies. The disposition or attitude of policy implementers can be seen through understanding and deepening, the direction of the policy response, and the intensity of the policy. Human resources are important in implementing policies because if communication is going well between policy makers and implementers but there are not adequate resources then policy implementation will not run well. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of public. Suggestions for the implementation of Public information in the Sintang Regency Communication and Informatics Service need to be pursued continuously and sustainably in facing community demands, improving Human Resources and other supporting infrastructure. Abstract: Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) is an Indonesian government program which aims to help low-income communities improve the quality of their homes. This program provides assistance in the form of building materials and funds to encourage people to repair or build livable houses on their own initiative and efforts. Using qualitative methods with interview, observation and documentation techniques, this research aims to describe and analyze community self-sufficiency and social capital as important elements in utilizing the BSPS program. The research results show that in the context of BSPS house building, self-sufficiency has a close relationship with social capital and the two support each other. Social networks and trust between group members also support self-sufficiency by facilitating cooperation and involvement of group members in the BSPS program implementation process. Furthermore, a high level of trust in a community can increase the ability of community members to rely on each other and share resources which is the basis of self-sufficiency, where trust allows community members to take initiative and act independently but still receive support from their community. Social capital helps in the identification and mobilization of local resources in the presence of strong networks. Self-sufficiency relies heavily on the ability of communities to find and use the resources around them where social capital plays a key role. This research was conducted to analyze the influence of location and facilities on the satisfaction of residents of Amora Land Property Sintang housing with a sample of 54 consumers who had purchased housing at Amora Land Property Sintang. The results of the research partially show that location has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction (sig t count > 0.05). Furthermore, facilities have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction (sig t <0.05). The results of the F test showed that location and facilities together (simultaneously) influenced the satisfaction of residents of the Amora Land Property Sintang housing complex as indicated by the calculated F significance value <0.05.

The study in this study is the Role of the National Integration Forum of the National Unity and Politics Agency of Sintang Regency. and therefore the objectives to be achieved in this study are to find out, describe and analyze. With this research method using Descriptive research. The subjects in namely the Head of the Agency, the National Unity Development Section, the Chairperson of the FPK and FPK Members, with the research techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews and documentation studies with data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that (1). The role of the FPK has carried out its role in supporting existing policies and trying to comply with all applicable provisions regarding the implementation of programs in the field of Ideology and National Insight Development. (2). FPK development is running well but after the Covid-19 pandemic there is a budget problem in implementing the national insight program because the budget for implementing the national insight program is diverted to handling Covid-19 so that several programs have not run optimally. The suggestions submitted by the Research are (1). The role of FPK which has carried out its role in supporting existing policies and has attempted to comply with all applicable provisions regarding the implementation of programs in the field of Ideology and National Insight Development so that it continues to be improved. (2). FPK development which has been running well but has not yet run optimally so that it can be improved and continue to improve the work program.

This study was conducted to determine how much influence Training and Career Development has on Employee Performance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office of Singkawang City. The research method used is quantitative research with data collection techniques using questionnaires and using probability sampling techniques alongside simple random sampling in taking samples. The data used are profile data from the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office of Singkawang City, questionnaire data, primary processed data, and processed data from SPSS Version 25. Based on the results of the T test or partial test, it shows that the significant value of Training and Career Development has a positive effect on Employee Performance. The F test shows that the significant value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, so Training and Career Development simultaneously have an effect on Employee Performance. Based on the results of the Determination Test (R2), the R2 value is 0.361 or 36.1 percent. The suggestion submitted by the author, namely the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Singkawang City should be able to use the results of the research on the influence of Training and Career Development can be used as information in viewing employee performance which can be used to help improve Training and develop employee careers so that it can increase motivation in working and improve employee performance.
