FOKUS, Jurnal Ilmu Sosial dan Politik, kali ini memulai tampil dalam kemasan baru. Tampilan dan gaya baru bukanlah berarti menafikkan eksistensi dan substansi keilmuan, terutama ranah kajian administrasi publik. Terbitan ke 17 nomor 1, Maret 2019, tentunya banyak harapan dan tantangan yang masih harus dibenahi oleh Tim Penyunting. terutama yang berkaitan dengan isi, dimana edisi Jurnal kali ini belum dapat menyatukan tulisan dalam satu tofik (monograf). Namun demikian, tidaklah berarti mengurangi telaah substansi pembahasan sebuah persoalan keilmuan. Kritik yang bermanfaat sangat dihargai, namun bukan berarti kritik yang tidak bermanfaat tidak dihargai, hanya barangkali cara menempatkan kritik itu yang berbeda. Sebab semua kritik tentulah bermanfaat terlebih untuk Jurnal FOKUS ini. Semoga Jurnal FOKUS kedepan akan tampil semakin sempurna dan mampu menggugah kesadaran untuk menampilkan tulisan yang sangat erat terkait dengan ruang lingkup Ilmu Administrasi Publik dan mencapai tujuan bernegara yang bermuara pada penyelesaian persoalan publik (masyarakat), tentunya kontribusi yang tidak sebatas ide semata, namun yang sangat utama tentulah aksi-aksi (actions) konkrit.

Work development for employees of Bina Masyarakat Credit Union branch Sungai DurianSintang is carried out to know, understand, study and develop aspects of employee empowerment, workrewards, work compensation and employee work ethic. The research method is descriptive qualitative, theresearch subjects consist of branch managers and staff employees. The research instrument consists ofinterviews, documentation and observation. Data analysis is qualitative analysis. The results of theresearch concluded that empowerment, rewards and compensation had been carried out in accordance withthe provisions of management policy patterns and personnel regulations, then regarding work ethicinformation was obtained that employee work results were in accordance with standard provisions forwelfare acceptance. The research results also found that there are other aspects that also determine employeework development, namely those relating to employee work discipline. The suggestions made so thatemployee work development can be better are seen as needing to be further supported by work enthusiasmand increased employee discipline at work

The pricing of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) (palm fruit can be aimed at protecting plasma farmers such as setting a basic price so that price certainty for farmers is obtained and production incentives are obtained as well as to protect consumers through the determination of the highest price in accordance with the price in the market. Suggestions for this research: It is better to maintain the quality of oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB) in plantations owned by plasma farmers at PT. Adinusa Cakra Mandiri In Sepauk District, the company must continue to help in the selection of plasma oil palm land so that the fruit continues to be of high quality. This research seeks to analyse the supervision and transparency of the use of funds in Entipan Village using a qualitative case study approach. The results show that the capacity of village apparatus, community participation, and the use of information technology are key factors in determining the level of transparency and accountability of village fund management. Villages with well-trained apparatus, high community participation, and adoption of information technology show better management of village funds. However, obstacles such as a closed bureaucratic culture and resistance to change remain key challenges. Recommendations include improving the capacity of the apparatus through training, increasing community participation, and adopting information technology to support transparency and accountability. With these measures, it is expected that the management of village funds can be better and support sustainable development at the village level.

This research aims to examine the implementation of village tourism policies in Ensaid PanjangVillage, Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities faced. Aqualitative approach was used in this research, which involved literature study, in-depth interviews withstakeholders, and participant observation in the field. The research results identified several mainchallenges, including limited infrastructure such as road access and basic facilities, limited skilled humanresources in the tourism sector, and inadequate funding for village tourism development. The proposeddevelopment strategy includes improving basic infrastructure, providing tourism training and educationfor local communities, developing tourism packages that highlight cultural and natural riches, increasingpromotion through digital media, and increasing community participation in tourism management. It ishoped that the implementation of these strategies can encourage sustainable tourism development in EnsaidPanjang Village, providing equitable economic, social and environmental benefits for the entirecommunity. The research conclusion emphasizes the importance of collaboration between government, localcommunities, academics and tourism industry players to achieve inclusive and sustainable tourismdevelopment goals

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan Pelayanan Kepolisian pada Masyarakat di Sentra Pelayanan Kepolisian Terpadu (SPKT) Polres Kabupaten Melawi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 (tiga) orang yaitu; 1). Kabag Ops SPKT Polres Kabupaten Melawi. 2). Anggota Kepolisian yang bertugas pada SPKT Kabupaten Melawi. 3). Anggota Masyarakat yang mendapatkan pelayanan pada SPKT Kabupaten Melawi. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik wawancara, observasi atau pengamatan dan studi dokumentasi dengan analisis data menggunakan metode analisis data kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Pelayanan Kepolisian pada Masyarakat di Sentra Pelayanan Kepolisian Terpadu (SPKT) Polres Kabupaten Melawi sudah berjalan atau dilaksanakan oleh Sentra Pelayanan Kepolisian Terpadu (SPKT) Polres Kabupaten Melawi, khususnya pada aspek Mekanisme Pelayanannya, dimana pihak Polres Melawi memberikan layanan kepada masyarakat sesuai dengan mekanisme yang ditetapkan oleh undang-undang. Pelayanan kepada masyarakat sudah diberikan sesuai mekanisme pelayanan yang ada. Aspek Sarana dan Prasarana sudah tersedia, komputer, laptop, printer, alat tulis kantor, meja dan kursi sebagai bagian dari pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Aspek sumber daya manusia dapat dibagi dalam dua bagian yaitu kuantitas dan kualitas. Dari aspek kualitas sumber daya manusia sudah cukup memadai namun dari sisi kuantitas sumber daya manusia masih diperlukan. Kesimpulannnya bahwa Pelayanan Kepolisian pada Masyarakat di Sentra Pelayanan Kepolisian Terpadu (SPKT) Polres Kabupaten Melawi dalam aspek Mekanisme pelayanan pihak SPKT sudah memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat sesuai prosedur dan mekanisme yang diatur oleh undang-undang. Dari Aspek sarana dan prasarana sudah cukup memadai dan dari aspek sumber daya manusia masih diperlukan dari aspek kuantitas personil. Saran: perlu adanya peningkatan sarana dan prasarana terutama jika pelayanan SPKT dilakukan diera digitalisasi dan penambahan jumlah personil yang bertugas pada Sentra Pelayanan Kepolisian Terpadu (SPKT) Kabupaten Melawi.

The aim of this research is to identify about program of corporate social responsibility in a regional development efforts. This research was examined in regarding the implementation of a regional policies relating to corporate social responsibility at Sintang Regency. This research used a qualitative method. The data obtained from interviews and CSR document. The researcher interviews with the Sintang Regency government. This research used interactive analysis by Miles and Hubberman. The result of research shows that, implementation of coordination of CSR by regency government is not optimal. By the time, implementation of regional policies is slowly. The synchronization step that has been done has not been effective. The implementation process, in that mean is the CSR practice is not accordance with Sintang regent regulation number 54, 2016 about Corporate Social Responsibility and the prime mover development of Sintang Regency. This research investigates the role of social media in increasing the political participation ofGeneration Z in rural areas, especially Sungai Ana Village, Sintang District during the 2024 GeneralElection. Using a mixed methods approach, this research combines a literature review, survey, in-depthinterviews, social media content analysis, and observation participatory to collect comprehensive data.These findings reveal that social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp are veryimportant for increasing political awareness among Generation Z users in Sungai Ana Village, SintangDistrict. About 91% of respondents rely on social media as their main source of political information, andadmit that these platforms help them better understand political issues and candidates. These findingshighlight the need for increased media literacy and critical thinking skills to combat the spread of fake news.The study concludes with recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders, emphasizing the importanceof improving internet infrastructure in rural areas, promoting educational campaigns on media literacy,and fostering collaboration between governments, educational institutions, and social media platforms todevelop effective political education initiatives. By overcoming these challenges and harnessing thepotential of social media, Generation Z's political engagement in rural areas, especially in Sungai AnaVillage, can be significantly increased, resulting in more active and informed participation in thedemocratic process

Abstract : Tenun Ikat, as an important cultural heritage of the Dayak community in Sintang District, West Kalimantan, reflects the cultural and philosophical identity of the local community. However, the growth of globalization and the lack of interest of younger generations in the bonding culture put the art of tenun a barrier to its preservation. The study emphasizes the importance of young people's charisma in preserving Sintang's tenun ikat. This kaderization includes education and training programmes, cultural promotion campaigns, and economic empowerment through the formation of co-operatives or joint venture groups. The educational programmes may include workshops with senior craftsmen which can be facilitated by the Sintang District Government. Promotions can use social media and cultural activities to increase young people's appreciation of their heritage. To maintain the relevance of tenun ikat in the contemporary market, young artisans acquire business and marketing skills through economic empowerment. Hopefully through this effort, the younger generation will be the keepers of tradition and also the innovators who can cultivate and bring the bandage to the global stage. In an era of globalization and modernization, the kaderisation of young people is a strategic spearhead for ensuring the sustainability of weaving and strengthening cultural identities. This study examines the strategies for improving the quality of employees at PT. SawitKhatulistiwa Lestari Pedadang Estate in Ketungau Hilir, Sintang Regency. The focus of this research is toidentify the strategies used to enhance the quality of employees at PT. Sawit Khatulistiwa Lestari PedadangEstate. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study include managers,general employees, and employees from the R&D (Resource and Development) department. Data collectiontechniques used in the study are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of thisstudy indicate that the company motivates and ensures the well-being of employees as a means ofimproving employee quality. The management frequently conducts training to enhance employees' skills,not only in industrial activities but also in personal and self-development skills. Employee attendance isquite high, with employees arriving and leaving according to working hours and being able to performtasks according to their positions and responsibilities. However, challenges arise from frequent budgetshortages due to the fact that a large portion of PT. Sawit Khatulistiwa Lestari Pedadang Estate's land isstill non-productive and in maintenance, and the process of appointing permanent employees takes a longtime. Based on the conclusions above, several recommendations are suggested: Regular training foremployees at PT. Sawit Khatulistiwa Lestari Pedadang Estate is needed to improve employee quality. Todetermine job satisfaction as an effort to improve employee quality, periodic opinion surveys should beconducted. The company's financial management needs to be improved to ensure timely wage payments.The company should seek funds that can be fully invested in maintaining the non-productive portion of theland

The society participation is one of the main key of the village Pregress development. Village development plays an important role because it is an inseparable part of regional and national development. In the governance structure, the village occupies the lowest position, but instead it is in the forefront and directly in the middle of the community. Therefore, it can be ensured that any form of development program from the government will always lead to the village. Community participation is an initiative and self-help that is a characteristic of the personality of the Indonesian nation. Initiative which means will, desire for desire, while self-help is mutual cooperation which means ability, kinship, so it needs to be organized in order to build a good relationship in making a village.
