Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the content of the mathematics textbook based on indicators in a scientific approach. This research is a descriptive study that describes or explains systematically the facts or characteristics of a particular population. The procedure in this study consisted of: (1) the preparation stage, by selecting the revised 2017 edition of the 2017 high school senior high school mathematics textbook, (2) conducting a literature study to find out how the quality of the mathematics textbook was based on a scientific approach, (3) drawing conclusions from the data obtained. has been obtained. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the quality of the mathematics textbooks is obtained in each chapter, namely in Chapter 1 as much as 60%, Chapter II as much as 70%, Chapter III as much as 50%, Chapter IV as much as 60%. As for the total number of chapters in textbooks based on a scientific approach as much as 60%. So it can be concluded that the quality of mathematics textbooks for class X 2013 curriculum based on the scientific approach is included in the sufficient category with the implementation of indicators in the scientific approach.

Abstract

This study aims to develop mathematical comic media on algebra material class VII SMP Negeri 1 Pitumpanua and to determine the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness of mathematical comic media in class VII algebra material of SMP Negeri 1 Pitumpanua. The type of research used is research and development with reference to the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, developmet, implementation, and evaluation. The test subjects in this study were class VII SMPN 1 Pitumpanua. The instruments used in this study were expert validation sheets, observation sheets on the implementation of teaching materials, student response questionnaires, student activity observation sheets, and learning outcomes tests. The data obtained are analyzed descriptively. The results showed that comic media was in a very valid category with validation results of 4.4 meeting practical criteria based on the percentage of student response questionnaires for the overall aspect of 93% and effective based on the percentage of completeness of 87%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the process of developing ethnomathematics-based teaching materials. The reference to the ADDIE development model which consists of several phases namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. . The product being developed is in the form of teaching materials, namely modules based on ethnomathematics (Bugis cultural tradition) on flat sided geometric material which was tested on 17 class VIII students of Pangkep Negeri MTs. The instruments used in this study were expert validation sheets, student activity observation sheets, teacher activity observation sheets in the implementation of learning, student response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, and learning achievement tests. The limited trial carried out, an ethnomathematics (Bugis cultural tradition) based module on flat sided geometric material in class VIII MTsN Pangkep has met the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness.

Abstract

This research is a type of correlational research that aims to describe the relationship between learning methods, mathematical anxiety and learning achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research approach is quantitative with descriptive analysis research methods and inferential analysis. The data analysis technique used is pearson correlation with a significance level of 5%. The instrument used in this study was in the form of an instrument in the form of a questionnaire of student statements related to learning methods and mathematical anxiety, while learning achievement data was obtained from mathematics school test scores. The population in this study was all students of class XII SMA Negeri 9 Takalar for the 2021/2022 academic year, totaling 61 students. The results of this study showed that: (1) the learning method of the majority of students at moderate intervals of 60.00-67.00 as many as 21 students with compulsive frequency (34%), mathematical anxiety of the majority of students at medium intervals of 42.00-50.00 as many as 24 learners with compulsive frequency (39%). (2) there is a significant relationship between the way of learning and the learning achievement of students which shows a correlation coefficient value of 0.638 and p < 0.05. (3) there was a significant association between mathematical anxiety and learning achievement showing a correlation coefficient value of −0.314 and p < 0.05. (4) there is a significant relationship between learning and mathematical anxiety with student learning achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic which is indicated by a correlation coefficient value of 0.676 and p < 0.05 with a positive correlation direction. It can be concluded that if the higher the way of learning and the lower the mathematical anxiety, it will produce high student learning achievement, on the contrary, if the lower the way of learning and the higher the mathematical anxiety, it will produce less / low learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective problem-based learning-based module on algebraic operation material in class VII of SMPN 4 Bontoramba. This study used the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) with the research subjects as many as 20 students in class VII of SMPN Bontoramba. The instruments used in this study were expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, teacher ability observations, learning outcomes tests, and learning outcomes tests (THB). Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is obtained: validation results obtained a value of 4 which is in the valid category; : validation results obtained a value of 4 which is in the valid category; Practicality results are in the very positive category because the average percentage of student responses reaches 83.45% and teacher responses reach 92.5%; and the result of effectiveness with the average percentage for the teacher's ability to manage learning is 4.65 is in the excellent category, the average percentage of student activity is 82.3% is in the good category, and The percentage of student learning completion is in the high category and reaches classical completion which is 79.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of learning media that were developed to improve student learning outcomes in flat shape material. The trial phase was carried out 2 times, namely first, a limited trial that was tested on 10 randomly selected class VII.B students and a field trial was tested in the actual class, namely class VII.A with a total of 20 students. The research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model with five stages, namely: (1) Analysis stage, (2) Design stage, (3) Development stage, (4) ) Implementation stage (Implementation) and (5) Evaluation stage (Evaluation). The product developed is in the form of learning media for snakes and ladders integrated with Islamic values ​​which contain flat shape material. The test subjects in this study were class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke. Based on the results of the study, it was found that, (1) Validity, the average validation results for the media and all research instruments was 85.6%, which means that the media and instruments are in the very valid category, (2) Practical, the average of all aspects of the practicality of the media is 92% is in the very good category, (3) the average of all aspects of effectiveness is 89.9% is in the very good category, so that the development of snakes and ladders learning media has met the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of students' digital literacy and teacher creativity on the achievement of learning mathematics class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Gowa. This research approach uses a quantitative approach with an ex-post-facto type of research. The population in this study was class VIII MTsN Gowa students which amounted to 200 students and a sample of 67 students. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with a significance level of 5% obtained results that showed that (1) The digital literacy ability of students had a positive effect on the mathematics learning achievement of class VIII MTsN Gowa students by 12.6%, (2) Teacher creativity has a positive effect on the mathematics learning achievement of class VIII MTsN Gowa students by 10.5%, (3) The digital literacy ability of students and teacher creativity have a positive effect on the achievement of learning mathematics for class VIII MTsN Gowa students by 17.7%. Thus, if the digital literacy skills of students and teacher creativity increase, then the achievement of learning mathematics for class VIII students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Gowa will also increase.

Abstract

There are various factors that affect student learning outcomes, both internal and external factors. This study aims to get an overview of the influence of interest in learning and school language on mathematics learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research with the type of ex-post facto which was conducted on class VII students of MTs Babussalam DDI Kassi. The sample was selected by simple random sampling technique. In conducting research, angles are used to measure interest in learning and the school environment as well as documentation of mathematics learning outcomes in the form of even semester scores. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, namely simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that students' learning interest is in the high category with an average score of 61.97, the school environment is in the medium category with an average score of 57.13, and for mathematics learning outcomes is in the medium category with an average score of 79. 26. While the inferential test shows that interest in learning and the school environment have a positive effect on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of developing mathematics learning media for two-variable linear equation systems in MTs Darul Falah Bikeru that meet valid, practical, and effective criteria. This research is in the form of Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model. The procedure includes 5 stages, namely: (1) analysis stage, (2) design stage, (3) development stage, (4) implementation stage, (5) evaluate stage. The subject of this study was class VIII students at MTs Darul Falah Bikeru. The product that was successfully developed in this development is the XyMath application created using Inventor 2. The results of this study show that the development of Inventor 2-based XyMath learning media on the material of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System is feasible to use in MTs Darul Falah Bikeru. From the results of product trials, students are more interested and understand the material taught using XyMath learning media compared to using digital books

Abstract

The lack of understanding of students on other given problems indicates that students do not have conceptual abilities. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of mathematics learning through the application of a contextual approach to grade VIII students of SMP Nasional Makassar. The sample used is Cluster Random Sampling, where one class is randomly selected from six classes to determine the experimental class and the selected one is class VIIIF. In conducting research, mathematics learning outcomes tests are used, student activity observation sheets, learning implementation observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data collected through learning outcomes tests, student activity sheets, learning implementation sheets and questionnaires of student responses to mathematics learning through the application of a contextual approach will be analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of the analysis showed the completeness of mathematics learning outcomes with a score of 87.50%, student activities in participating in learning for four meetings were in the effective category, the percentage of learning implementation through the application of a contextual approach was 89.58%, based on the analysis of student response questionnaires obtained the average percentage of students who gave positive responses was 86.79%.
