Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of e-procurement on supply chain performance by mediating the role of partnerships, information sharing, and supply chain integration. The survey was conducted on two large companies engaged in the energy sector. Data collection for this survey was carried out by distributing the survey to respondents who were determined by the sampling method of interest. The research design used in this study is hypothesis testing, and the data analysis method used to test the hypothesis is the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method using the AMOS program. The results show that of the three mediating variables, namely partner relationships, supply chain integration and information sharing, it shows that supply chain integration provides the greatest mediating role. While the other two variables are not sufficient to facilitate the impact of e-procurement on supply chain performance. Direct testing of the effect of e-procurement on the three mediating variables, also shows that e-procurement only has a direct significant impact on supply chain integration, while the effect on partnership relationships and information exchange is not significant. For testing the direct effect of the three mediating variables on supply chain performance, the results show that partnership relationships have not been sufficient to encourage supply chain performance. Meanwhile supply chain integration and information exchange show their role in driving supply chain performance.

Abstract

As the busiest port in Indonesia, Tanjung Priok port has a hard time to achieve the target to maximize ship utility through operational cost savings. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors affecting Integrated Port Time (IPT) in order to reduce the shipping companies operating costs in Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta. Controllable and uncontrollable IPT is influenced by five variables which are the availability of the docks, the shipping lane conditions, the document services, the guidance services, and the loading-unloading productivity. This study focuses on the factors that affect IPT in domestic area of Terminal 3 Tanjung Priok Port Jakarta in particular. It is related to how IPT could contribute to the efficiency of national companies operations in general if the duration is shortened. This study used Path Analysis method with a total sample of 70 people from the operational team and the crew of Temas shipping company. The results of the study prove that five variables mentioned have a positive and significant impact altogether on IPT of the ships operated by Temas shipping company in Tanjung Priok port in Jakarta. The findings are expected to be useful to cut down Temas shipping company’s operational cost and increase the ships utility.

Abstract

One of the centers of economic activity in Semarang City is the Tugu Muda Central Business District (CBD) area which is located on the Imam Bonjol, Captain Piere Tendean, and Pemuda roads. This area is a center of community movement which has a very high traffic pull generation, causing congestion. The Semarang City Government since 2017 until now (2022) has implemented a One Way System in the area. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the existing traffic services after 5 years of implementation. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing One Way Traffic System during the morning peak hour. The trick is to compare performance using 2 alternative scenarios. Alternative I uses a two-way system without parking lanes and Alterntive II uses a two-way system with parking lanes. The method used is a case study based on MKJI calculations and the use of the Contram Release 5.09 application. The results of the analysis show that for the performance of roads (micro), namely V/C Ratio and speed, the One Way System has a better value than Alternative I and Alternative II. For road network performance (macro) which consists of travel time, mileage, network speed, and fuel consumption also has a better value. One Way System after 5 years is still feasible.

Abstract

Some problems were found such as the changing of export shipment booking system from manual process to online process that created an impact on customers’ perceived adjustments. In this study, there was problem with the Electronic Customer Relationship Management website based system in the implementation process. The purpose of the study is to find out the contribution of Electronic Customer Relationship Management and service quality to customers’ loyalty mediated by customers’ satisfaction, directly and indirectly, in container companies in Indonesia . The data analysis method used Path Analysis and Sobel Test. The sample were 103 respondents taken from PT. White Star Cruise shipping company’s customers. The data collection technique was using online questionnaires (google form). The results of the study show that the customers’ loyalty variable with the lowest average score of 3.75 can be improved by convincing customers that the service provided by PT. Bintang Putih Shipping Company is much better and can be guaranteed even though the rate offered is more expensive. Moreover, the customers’ satisfaction variable with the lowest average score of 3.85 can be increased by adjusting the rate received by the customers with the service obtained such as the on time arrival of goods at the destination port.

Abstract

The issue of Public Service Obligation for Jabodetabek Commuter Line is indicated off-target due to 60% of its users are considered employed or have income. However, the Obligation is one of the revenue sources for railway operators. The retraction of the Obligation could reduce the railway operators’ overall revenue. This study analyzes the effect of the retraction of Public Service Obligation to the financial of Jabodetabek commuter line operators. The method used in the study was by simulating the passengers’ volume and income based on the elasticity of passengers to the fare changes. The results show that the volume of Jabodetabek Commuter Line users of the employed or have income groups will not be significantly affected by the retraction of Public Service Obligation due to their ability in paying and their inelasticity commuter line trip. The simulation also shows that the revenue from other tariff aside from the Public Service Obligation is the largest compared to other revenue sources with a fairly high elasticity value (-0.6). The result indicates that other tariffs aside from Public Service Obligation are potential to be the commuter line operators’ major revenue.

Abstract

The study is about the implementation of airport service quality perception and its relation to Word of Mouth (WOM). The main purpose of the study is to develop an understanding of the airport service quality perception developed by Airport Council International. Furthermore, it investigates the relationship between service quality and WOM and analyzes whether the passengers discuss the airport service quality to other passengers; share the airport experience to social media; and recommend the airport to others or not. These raise the questions whether the service quality could affect Word of Mouth (WOM) including the interaction between variables. The results of the study show that the airport service quality has positive impact toward Word of Mouth and some findings related to the problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy of One Stop Service (OSS) in ships berthing at the port of Tanjung Perak, Surabaya. This research was conducted for one year starting from March 2020 to October 2020. This study used mix method (qualitative dan quantitave) with the source of the data obtained was primary data obtained directly from the research site by means of interviews and literature related to the title research result. The results obtained from this study indicate that the obstacles that occur in One Stop Service Center services in ships berthing at the port of Tanjung Perak are caused by a lack of pilots and pilot boats to guide ships to the port of Tanjung Perak, Surabaya. Based on data on the list of ships berthed at the Port of Tanjung Perak, Surabaya, of the 40 berths there were 34 (85%) ships that experienced delays in berthing while there were 6 ships that experienced punctual berthing (15%). It can be concluded that the ship berthing One Stop Service model has been carried out well in order to produce good goods documents and must add guide ships to improve smooth ship berthing services at PT. Port of Indonesia III, Tanjung Perak, Surabaya.
